My Netflix App on Windows 10 not working

Good day,

Since December 14th my Netflix App is no longer working on Windows 10. 

I select the App from my list and it opens only on the Bar at the bottom of the screen. I tried to enlarge but to no avail

1- I have uninstalled and Reinstalled the App

2- Uninstalled and reinstalled the Silverlight

And no luck. I am able to view Netflix only through the Internet. 

Is there any reason why it suddenly stopped opening?

We appreciate you for trying the troubleshooting steps.

This issue might occur when some of the apps setting got corrupted.

I would suggest you the run Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

  1. Type troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar.

  2. Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.

  3. Select Windows store Apps.

  4. Follow the on screen instruction.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I did the above steps but I get
'Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem'

Selected Netflix and it is still opened but stays in the bottom Taskbar

Good morning,

After an update was done,  the Netflix app was working and not stable. Yesterday I went to open the Netflix app and did the same where the app opens  but stays in the bottom menu and can't open to the full screen

As the issue still persist, I suggest you to uninstall the Netflix, download and install it again through Windows store and check if it helps.

To uninstall Netflix app, just right click on the app and select Uninstall.

Search for Netflix app in Windows store and install it.
