The view over Oberammergau from the sky was amazing. I highly recommend paragliding when you visit the village and flying with Jochen! The citizens put in on by way of thanks to God from delivering them from the medieval plague that decimated much of Europe. The production tak s place in a stunning outdoor theatre and goes on for a good part of the day and depicts the last few days of Christ on earth and his Passion.
The acoustics are great and the intermission is a welcomed relief.

Wanted to rent 4 touring skis for my family. We already had chosen the skis, but when I politely asked some question about the climbing skins, the old grumpy shop owner went ballistic, telling us he knew his business, he had been doing this business for decades, and as we didn't trust him, he didn't want to rent us anything! We had to go to Garmisch to find skis to rent, we lost half of the day and couldn't do the ski tour we wanted to do.
