The service was very nice and quick, and the food was really good. In particular, the food in Frankfurt may be somewhat heavy and hard to digest, but in Medici, it is very light and high quality cuisine.
What I had:
I had a beef...fillet which was very tender and cooked exactly as I requested and the potato gratin was very light, with very soft thinly sliced potatoes and no unnecessary cream or fat. The porto wine sauce brought a little bitterness and a good balance with the sweetness of the caramelized onions. Another good point, the dressing was very clean (no unnecessary elements, which would be unrelated to the dish) and sober.
For dessert, I ordered the coulant au chocolat with its cherries, and its mint mandarine sherbet. There again, no mistake: the coulant is cooked perfectly well, the cherry complement the coulant bringing some fruit, and the sherbet was awesome adding the required acidity. The association mandarine and mint in the sherbet is very fresh and the crisp underneath the sherbet brings a nice crunchy texture.
