I just saw the Wiggles here! The show went seamlessly and once the doors opened I just popped out my iphone and was able to get in and sit down immediately. I checked out upcoming concerts and shows but everything seems to be in French so unfortunately I will not be returning anytime soon. I hope they add some english shows! I did have a great seat (5th row) so I don't know how the experience is for those seated further back or in the upper level.
It's also conveniently located next to metro Berri Uqam, exit St.Denis. - Ann T.Montreal, Canada230710630Feb 22, 2019
Location: In the Quartier Latin, where you will never find parking no matter how desperately you try. Stick with the metro - Berri isn't too far away (about 10-min walk).
The place: Surprisingly, this was my first time seeing a show at this theatre (probably because the lack of street parking discouraged from ever going before!?). I was there to see the Blue Man Group, and would say that this venue is great for this type of performance; the theatre isn't huge, but no matter where you sit, you'll get a good view of the stage (unless someone really tall is sat in front of you, which of course, was my case). We were upgraded because our seats were behind the sound board, so that was a nice touch.
The lobby is a little small so when the show was over, it was pretty sardine-like, especially since they had a merchandise stand set-up on one side, and the Blue Man people came out to meet people - everyone 'had' to get pics taken with them. Of course.
All in all, a solid place for a show. - Elle O.Toronto, Canada0130Jul 12, 2015
There was a drunk person at the Johnny Cash review last night. The ushers did not review him until he yelled out twice during the 1st set. There were handicapped people at the show who were not seated before the rest of the audience and had blocked views from their seats. During the 20 minute intermission there was no way to get a drink as the lines were so long, we went across the street and just got some water from Max Milk. Ushers did not seat people so many elderly people were roaming around trying to read small seat signs and poorly printed tickets. Finally the show started late and then there were people with their phones on, taking photos and taping the the ushers did nothing. For a $100 show I would expect more.
