The Putney store is their flagship store, and the last one to close. They are having a 25% off sale currently. I imagine they will close once the inventory is gone. Best to check before you make the trip. I have shopped here for years, and sad to know that I have to go online for purchases from them in the future.

So many good things to buy from baskets to goodies. Even had wine tasting and the wines were great fruit wines, no grape wines. Something to please everyone. The staff there is super friendly. I even found a kitchen item I hadn’t been able to find anywhere else. Could have spent a lot more time looking around. Parking around the back and to the side. Definitely take the time to stop in.

Whenever we are near we go here. It is a great stop! So much to see, a lot of baskets but so much more. I was lucky they had fall and Christmas on display! A great selection of kitchen gadgets, candy, candles, syrup and so much more . Very much worth a stop!

Basketville is one of those unique stores with a variety of, well, baskets....and gifts for anyone...Until today it was a trip I looked forward to, not the same things you see in all the big box stores, Vermont made. maple just about anything you can think of....
I am very thankful I did not have any children with me during today's trip. The complaining of the employees could be heard throughout the store, even upstairs, I tried to talk above the negativity and keep my spirits up for this trip, but they did not stop. They were gathered around the checkout counters talking in loud exchanges of complaints about other employees. This group dissipated eventually, but the negativity we received while checking out was very unbecoming, unwelcome, unnecessary and rude. No greeting, no eye contact, no talking, very abrupt and annoyed employee whose facial expression never changed. A few things were added to our order and were not welcomed, as snide remarks were made, I still even tried to end on a positive note, nothing....more negativity that could chill even the warmest of hearts on what is suppose to be a happy time of year.

We stopped here on a Fall foliage driving trip. Parking lot is small and a bit odd. The store is nice and a good size. They have a large selection of baskets and other items. Some are a bit pricey, but others are reasonable. When I was young, I used to go to Williamsburg, VA with my parents and there was a store there. It was pretty much the same. It's what I would call an "on the way" stop, not necessarily a destination in itself.

Basketville is great. If you need kitchen accessories - they have it. If you need tourist souveniers - they have it. If you need seasonal decorations - they have it. If you need baskets of ANY type (kitchen, laundry, hamper, etc.) - they have it. Great place with very reasonable prices

Baskerville is a shop for baskets, wicker and home goods. It’s a huge store of baskets of every size and shape.

Baskets...all shapes, sizes and purposes! There is such a large variety at this store. The baskets were of very nice quality and would make a great vacation souvenir or a special gift. Beyond baskets, the store had an array of decorative and kitchen items. There is also a section for tasting of Vermont Wines. We didn’t take advantage of the tasting but it appeared to be very nice and enjoyable. Basketville is an interesting store to browse and shop.

I haven’t been to this store in years. It was great coming back to visit. It still has beautiful baskets and so much more. There is lovely home decor and furniture. There is also a gourmet food section and the Putney Winery had a tasting and sells wine.

Great place to shop, and walk around. Prices reasonable, much better than Vermont Country Store. Lots of items of all types. Baskets abound, every kind imaginable. Big plus for adults is 7 days a week wine tasting right in the store by Putney Winery. Try the cranberry wine, its really good !

I'm not sure but it's very possible as they have every kind of basket I can imagine. I'd check their site or call. They're wicked nice and helpful.

WE are heading up north to Deerfield, Ma, and to Putney VT to visit Yankee Candle and Basketville, hopefully maybe even the Vermont Store if nearby, but looking for a nice restaurant for dinner. Suggestions?

There's a diner for breakfast. Everyone goes there. I don't remeber the name but someone will be able to help you.
