The View is gearing up for a brand new season after wrapping their milestone Season 25 in August. The hit daytime talk show returns with fresh episodes following a brief summer hiatus, and you can bet this season will pack in all of the live drama, hot takes and current events as the last.

When The View returns, the show will feature some new faces with full-time spots at the Hot Topics table, but your favorite hosts will be back, as well. And of course, the lineup of celebrity guests is looking promising too, with big names from politics, entertainment, academics and more.

If you’re new to The View or a longtime fan, you’ll need to know where, when and how to watch. And that’s where we come in. Read on for your ultimate guide on all things to know about The View Season 26.

When does The View return for Season 26?

The View is back with new episodes starting Tues., Sept. 6. See it all go down live when the Season 26 premiere debuts that day at 11/10c on ABC.

The View Season 26 hosts: Who replaced Megan McCain?

When Megan McCain left The View at the end of Season 24, the show didn’t announce her permanent replacement for another year, instead using a rotating roster of guest hosts to fill her seat during Season 25. But when the show returns this year, we’ll finally have full-time hosts with Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin splitting the conservative seat previously filled by McCain.

Navarro has been guest hosting on The View for years, and is finally getting a permanent spot on the show, which she will share with Griffin, who appeared as a guest for the first time during Season 25. Navarro and Griffin will be joining the core four hosts of The View, all of whom are returning this season: Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Sara Haines and Whoopi Goldberg.
