andrey k Pretty good adaptation with fine atmosphere of a haunted hose and ghost story. However it lacks all the graphic and important details of the book. This story should have been screened as a 2 or 3 episode series. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Mildly chilling tale from the English countryside, although Vanessa Redgrave's performance doesn't quite tally with someone at death's door. Nevertheless the mystery provides enough intrigue. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member (50%) A TV movie that's better made and more interesting than some of the stuff that gets a cinematic release. The fine performances are a good addition to the better than most production values, but maybe the plot could have been a little more rewarding, and less formulaic by the final few scenes. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review troy k Very good for a TV movie, but the ending was lackluster. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Deborah Ross Daily Mail (UK) ... although it featured nice acting, and quite a lot of it, the plot holes made me want to throw a shoe at the television. Rated: 2/5 Aug 30, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
