I attended a memorial at the Shedd. The facilities were well-maintained and the staff was attentive.

We have been attending varied musical performances at the Shedd for 6 years and they are ALL good, depending on your taste in music. They bring in world-class performers in the jazz, musical theatre, bluegrass, country - you name it. We are hardly ever disappointed and almost always surprised by the talent booked here. If you are visiting Eugene this will give you a good flavor of the diversity of musical performances. Plus, it's a good place to rest weary bodies after a day of sightseeing or outdoor activities.

A truly satisfying venue for experiencing a performance. The setting is almost puts you on stage, despite holding about 900 people. The acoustics were excellent and the seating comfortable. The most remarkable aspect of the Shedd is the programming. Just check it out and you will want to attend any number of exciting programs. Oh, and reserve dinner if offered as it is excellent.

I love that they check vaxx cards and enforce the mask mandate. They have staff on hand if you happen to need directions to your seat or to the restroom. Very helpful!

Over the last year, I have attended three performances at the Shedd; two theatrical, and one concert. While it's not Broadway, LA or Vegas, every seat in the house is a good seat. Quality performances, quality venue....I'll spend my money here.

We got acquainted with the Shedd through the Emerald City Jazz Kings at LaSelles Stewart Center at OSU in Corvallis. That was three years ago! We have attended so many more performances, not only of the Jazz Kings, but Shedd Theatricals, Chuck Redd, Chick Coria and so much more.
If you are looking for great entertainment, this is the place to go!!! I personally, have come away from each performance enthralled and the music goes round and round in my head for days. Ginevra and Jim Ralph have done a marvelous thing putting this footprint in Eugene. Coupled with entertainers like Viki Brabham, marvelously talented woman in so many ways, Shirley Andruss, what a great voice, Siri Vik, Jesse Cloninger and so many, many more. My hat goes off to all of you. You've made my life so much richer by having your talent cross my path.

The show was okay. They had us sitting in the balcony which was okay. I would have preferred sitting in the main level.

It was so wonderful! The music and the old time tunes brought me back to my childhood. If I wasn't in the Christmas spirit yet this would have put me there. The talent of the musicians and the setting was spectacular.

First time there. Hawaiian concert. Loved the coziness. The far back has benches not seats and we booked late. Shocked that they actually were incredible. No issue seeing stage or hearing the music! Looking forward to returning for more venues!

Where do you park?
The Shedd has a parking lot for students and patrons directly north of the building on High and 8th Streets.
After 6pm street meters are free. There is also a pay lot across the street on Broadway, another 1 block to the west, and multiple garages within 3-4 blocks.

I've only been there once, so no expert, but heard that in the balcony that there are vision blockages.
