Owners are not great
Venue Assistant (Former Employee) - Eugene, OR - March 27, 2022
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedVery exclusive, doesn’t value employees at all. Specifically venue assistants. No say in schedule. Late hours. Variety in tasks was nice, but that’s about it. Working “security” for events due to policy but literally not doing anything. Not allowed to read- if it were for a live performance you had to turn around so you didn’t watch the show for free.
Pros
Some kind people work there, some of the actual work is enjoyable

Not worth the money
Venue Assistant (Former Employee) - Eugene, OR - January 6, 2020
This job was a very easy job but they made it hard for you to enjoy the job due to the racist and unprofessional culture of the job. The CEO would drink and come drunk on the job, they would have inconsistent hours and they tried to run me out of the job pretty much

Excellent place to work during school/as first job
Venue Assistant (Former Employee) - Eugene, OR - September 21, 2019
With extremely flexible work hours and varying shift duties, I really enjoyed working here while going to school in the area. The job gives you a lot of varied experience from food service to front desk duties. The direct managers of the venue assistants were absolutely wonderful, hard-working people. The upper management, specifically one of the owners, was notoriously difficult to work with and works actively at producing a stressful, judgmental, and unfriendly environment. If you can avoid working directly with that person specifically, then you will have a wonderful time.

Solid Summer Job
Venue Assistant (Former Employee) - Eugene, OR - August 18, 2018
Worked as a Venue Assistant for a brief period. It was a solid summer job to make some extra money and still be involved with the arts while I was in college.

It was fine
Venue Assistant (Current Employee) - Eugene, OR - June 11, 2018
No benefits and a super unreliable schedule but they were really good with working around conflicts on a weekly basis so that was fine. The people directly managing you are really nice.
