This is Halloween…er Christmas. No matter the holiday here’s where to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas for both the spooky and jolly vibes.

The Nightmare Before Christmas was produced by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick. It’s a stop-motion animated movie that’s focused on Jack Skellington, who’s also known as The Pumpkin King in Halloween Town, and his mission to take over Christmas after discovering the magic of Santa Claus (or Sandy Claws in Jack’s eyes).

The movie has cemented itself as a holiday crossover classic to much enjoyment of Halloween/Christmas fans. However, recently Tim Burton stood his ground on not making a sequel for the movie. “To me, the movie is very important,” Burton told Empire. “I’ve done sequels, I’ve done other things, I’ve done reboots, I’ve done all that s—, right? I don’t want that to happen to this.”

“It’s nice that people are maybe interested [in another one], but I’m not,” he continued, comparing himself to a man “who owns a little piece of property and won’t sell to the big power-plant that wants to take my land.”

“Get off of my land!” Burton joked. “You pesky little… You ain’t getting this property! I don’t care what you want to build on it. You come on my property… Where’s my shotgun?”
