On Thursday they have a children's program at the Mall that is free. It is geared to kids 5 and under. Miss Julie is the lady that runs the event. It is free and well worth the trip!.My grand daughter loves it and looks forward to it every week! 10:00 AM

Even though the mall has gone through a transformation due to the pandemic and the loss of several stores, it’s still the best in Maryland. Love the fact that Lidl grocery store has opened in the old Sears space which makes it truly a one stop shopping experience. With this addition, plus a ton of great restaurants attached to the mall (Cheesecake Factory, PF Changes, Walrus House, Maggiore’s), as well as Nordstrom, Macy’s and JC Penney, it’s still the best mall in Maryland. The other good thing is that it still feels safe and appears to be a family mall.

Great place to take the kiddies on a cold, rainy, hot, overcast, or just plain normal day. Close to the food court and JCPenney's. Does have too many kiosks and bothersome vendors. Hate the fact that the toilets by food court are closed and only the family ones are accessible. Makes it hard for kids, families, and all visitors in the area with only 2 toilets.

This Mall is really the One-Stop experience, you can find everything thing you need. Wish they would bring back an Auto service, only thing lacking since Seats closed

This mall is packed with attractions, but the parking was crowded, the traffic in and around the mall was horrible, and there were almost no signs or directories indicating where anything is. There were no security people I could ask, and this seemed to be a dead spot for my phone GPS. The hostess at the restaurant we were trying to reach couldn't explain how to get there from where I was. And this was a non-holiday Saturday afternoon, not a time when you'd expect overcrowding. I won't do this again.

The mall in Columbia is just like any other mall in America. There’s a Nordstrom, Macy’s, JC Penney, and Lord & Taylor as well as the usual suspects of chain stores. Useful if you need a suit, a vacuum cleaner, or you want to put a cheeseburger into your face, but this is not a tourist attraction.

It’s not the Louvre, but it has a purpose.

This is a really good mall when under non-holiday conditions. There are really good stores, movie theater and restaurants (exterior, inside is typical food court fast food). It also has really bad traffic flow. Traffic flow is poor but serviceable under normal conditions, however under holiday conditions it becomes dreadful. Normally my family simply avoids the mall during these times though we recently experienced their attempt at improved traffic flow, which wasn't there when we went into the theater but when we came out they had blocked off the pickup/drop-off point for those with accessibility issues, really messed up traffic further and forced my disabled wife to go across traffic and down the road so I could pick her up. Needless to say we won't be back for "the holiday experience" and it further drives us towards video on demand or disk and services like Amazon to do our shopping. A big shout out to Maggianos and Cheese Cake Factory who both have great food and service.

The Mall in Columbia has an excellent variety of stores and food choices. There is plenty to see and do. They have lots of entertainment options and the movie theater is right there as well. What is difficult, is the parking. There is the parking garage, which is a little better, but the open parking lot has lines of cars searching for parking at all times during the weekends. I'm not sure how they can improve this. But I would suggest using the parking garage rather than the open parking an then walking to the places you want to visit. I will certainly go back for my shopping needs, but just have to accept the parking is a drawback or go shopping during the week instead of the weekend if you want to avoid the crowds.

We had such a great time riding the carousel at the Columbia Mall with our five grandkids, five and under. It was most economical to buy the discounted pack of ten tickets. After the ride we walked to the play space which is perfect for our age group. It was remarkably not busy for a Sunday. I was impressed to hear the space closes for a period most of days for mid day cleaning. Although the area really isn’t anything outstanding, the kids had a ball and there’s just one entrance/exit which adds to the safety factor. After our fun we walked to the nearest exit for lunch at Zoe’s Kitchen. The kids’ meals were great and generous. We bought three for the five kids. All adults were very happy, too. The outside space near Zoe’s is great for romping and running.
