Is there a reason you prefer the flail in the offhand?
It's mostly a flavor choice. The flail is really just a second spell stick, but it's nice to have something to whack things with when necessary.
It's also my way of incentivizing casting over melee combat. Maybe it's just because I'm right-handed, but putting the flail in my offhand mentally emphasizes the casting for me; if that makes sense. Lol
The Flail could be a Censer.

I designed this look before putting the build into practice. Sadly, the weapons must be swapped. 💀 Unless you don't care about using the Family Heads' AoW, then we're all good, and spinning weapon is a viable alternative.

Death's Poker is SO freaking strong! I wouldn't blame you whatsoever. I have it in mind for another build/look. Keep an eye out for it! 😋
With this character being designed as a lich, conjuring death is an obvious focus, but I'm a little obsessed with the idea of a heretical, blasphemous sorcerer.
Basically, combine all the magics that go strictly against the Golden Order: Death and Aberrant Sorceries + Rykard's Rancor, alongside Blood and Godskin Incantations.
Mixing in some Fire Giant and Flame of Frenzy Incantations could fit this theme as well, but I am more inspired by the list above; they're all aesthetically dark in nature.

If you used black flame or dragon incantations this would go even harder. This drip is solid though.
Thank you, Paulson! Death Sorceries + Black Flame was actually my intention upon inception, and I've broadened my scope since then. The trick of having 12 spell slots is trying to make sure the purpose/utility of the many spells do not overlap, so you're incentivized to actually use them all.
On that front, I am still testing things out.

I hadn't considered altering the robe. I'll have to check that out. Maliketh's pieces are a perfect match for Mohg's robe! It doesn't surprise me that I'm not the only one who noticed. 😋
Tell me about your build! I wanted to use all the Deathbird weapons and a few others, but there's something about the flail that gives me "priest of death" vibes that feel right for a Lich-Wizard.
Now I changed the outfit and the weapons (now I got a Vampire style drip) but the build is basically almost the same: Bloodflame + Catch Flame e Whirl O Flame, Casted with Dragon communion seal.
I Use Flamberge with Occult affinity on bloody Slash and it does very good damage, and sometimes I use one or two Lordsworn straight sword (mostly for the look) with blood affinity on double Slash or blood blade.
With the previous drip I used Moghwyn sacred spear and the most common bleed weapons: Bloody Helice, Reduvia, Eleonora poleblade ( very few times), but they seemed to op to me ( Reduvia and Bloody Helice)

It's actually funny that you mentioned the vampiric style. I've considered running with that idea recently; a combination of HP cost skills (like a blood mage), alongside Regen and Vamp. I just haven't tried to flesh it out yet because I don't know ALL of the content, particularly sources of spell/skill Vamp. Like I know Blasphemous Blade's AoW heals, but.. that's about it. Lol
