      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

The Bad Batch has its moments, but it's too thinly written and self-indulgent to justify its length or compensate for its slow narrative drift.

Gero C The truth is I wasn't expecting something like this. Many consider it bad, but I believe the opposite. An incredible cast, violence, a more or less interesting story and measured performances. I would love to continue seeing Jim Carrey in roles like this. It's tremendous. Recommendable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/10/24 Full Review Daniel B Un viaje Psicodélico y bizarro único. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Cera G The Bad Batch is one of the most striking, intentionally shot, unique and potentially misunderstood films I've seen in years. The cinematography, and creative direction are undeniably brilliant. Where there is something left to be desired in a few of the accents, the emotional performances of the lead cast are on point. The film says so much while the leads say hardly anything at all. Dark, grim and at times brutal, The Bad Batch is primarily a story about human connection, and the fact that love is just as much in our nature as brutality. It grabbed me from beginning to end. It's a film you have to feel. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review TriggerHappyTree u Some absolute stunning visuals, with just enough horror and gore. Dialogue leaves a bit to be desired but ultimately fantastically dark. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/10/23 Full Review Courtney K super interesting concept, but it's a pretty slow ride - everything is really one-note & not much happens to begin with, so it got a little boring. but it's not terrible. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/29/23 Full Review MrSamantha24nc One of my favorites. This movie is awesome and unlike anything you will ever see! Watch it.
