There’s more than meets the eye on TELETOON Retro this month. On Saturday, June 13 starting at 9 am ET, Transformers fans can tune in to TELETOON Retro for a 24-hour marathon of the classic 1980s series.
Also this month, TELETOON Retro celebrates Father’s Day with special episodes of The Raccoons and The Jetsons on June 21.
June 5 – June 11
Starting June 1, viewers can catch an additional broadcast of Fraggle Rock every night at 11 pm ET. In the episode, airing Friday June 5 at 11 pm ET, a radish shortage nearly destroys the Fraggle civilization. The episode also airs at 9 am and 7:30 pm ET.
On Friday, June 5, Fred and Wilma switch places for a day to prove how difficult their respective jobs are. The Flintstones airs at 5 pm, 8:30 pm and 4:30 am ET.
In Spider-Man on Saturday, June 6 at 9 pm ET, Dr. Noah Body wants revenge on Spidey and he frees several villains including Electro and Vulture from prison to help him with his plan.
June 12 – June 18
June 24 marks the theatrical release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, but Transformers fans don’t have to wait until then to watch Optimus Prime and his Autobots battle Megatron and the evil Decepticons. On Saturday, June 13, TELETOON Retro will air a 24-hour Transformers marathon. Fans can catch the first 48 episodes of the classic1980s series between 9 am ET on Saturday, June 13 and 9 am ET on Sunday, June 14.
It’s all about the Chipettes this week on Alvin and the Chipmunks. On Wednesday, June 17 at 8:30 am ET, the Chipettes are in New York when “Uncle Harry” appears and tries to con them. On Thursday, June 18 at 8:30 am ET, the Chipettes reminisce about their early days in the music business.
In The Tom & Jerry Show on Tuesday, June 16 at 11:30 am ET, an ant gets into a growth serum and grows to be a giant, wreaking havoc on Tom and Jerry’s picnic and the town at large. Tom and Jerry must devise a plan to get the insect back to its original size.
June 19 – June 25
Sunday, June 21 is Father’s Day, and the Sneers and the Jetsons are celebrating in their own unique ways. In The Raccoons at 9:30 am ET, Cyril’s Father’s Day gift from Cedric is a television appearance, but the gift
turns into an ordeal for Cyril when the taxman corners him on live TV. The episode also airs at 1:30 pm ET. In The Jetsons at 4:30 pm ET, Elroy follows George around with a video camera as part of a Father’s Day project. Meanwhile, Astro falls in love with the poodle next door.
In The Pink Panther Show on Sunday, June 21 at 10 am ET, the Commissioner is abducted by aliens, and it’s up to the Inspector and Deux Deux to save him.
June 26 – July 2
Superhero fans can catch their favourites in action on TELETOON Retro every week. In The New Adventures of Batman on Friday, June 26 at 7 am, 9 pm and 12:30 am ET, Catwoman and Clayface take Gotham City’s oil supply hostage, and it’s up to Batman to stop them. On Saturday, June 27, The Fantastic Four meet Baron Hugo in Transylvania and learn the legend of Diablo, who is said to have discovered the secret of prolonged life. The episode airs at 7 am, 9 pm, and 12:30 am ET. In The New Adventures of Superman on Sunday, June 28 at 9 pm ET, Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen are in Scotland, where they get embroiled in an ancient feud over the mysterious Kilbane Castle. The episode also airs at 7 am and12:30 am ET.
