Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although at the moment this attraction is closed the Teleferico De Madrid is a great attraction to check out if you're planning a holiday to Madrid.
A nice cable car ride that brings you over the very impressive park area ,its an attraction that offers great photographic opportunities of the city, its starting point is Pasea Del Pintor Rosales.

Arrived but was closed. No sign why. By online checking no notice of reason for it. Had a nice walk in the park instead

The Madrid Cable car is brilliant. Its 25 minutes round trip, seats 4 people and only costs 6 euros. It crosses over the biggest urban park in Madrid, Casa De Campo. Its very scenic and surprisingly has some high points. It also crosses over the river, trainline and motorway. You can see a lot of things from the Cable car which includes the Royal Palace of Madrid, Madrid Cathedral and Parque de atracciones de Madrid, plus moutains north of Madrid in the far distance. Its one of the best things to do in Madrid. Its very scenic and you can see a good amount of Madrid from it.

Best thing we did in Madrid, you pay 5 or 6 euros dependent on age and the views are brilliant. If your feet are tired this is brilliant and you can see so much of Madrid. If you feel energetic you can hop off and do a walk and then return later. We stayed on and it was great value for money.

Tip: Book your ticket before and you can go to the right hand lane and get to the front quicker, we didnt and only took 5-10 minutes to get in. #1 thing we did.

Longest teleferico we've seen so far. Great views. Not much to do on the el campo side other than picnic and playground. Bring a lunch and enjoy the views before heading back! It would be great if they rented bikes on the el campo side as it would give people something fun to do there. Nothing fancy, but worth the roundtrip. teens really enjoyed it.

Loved it. Great fun, great views, great value (7€return). To be clear though, the cable cars dont take you through or into the city, but rather ou of the city into a sort of national park. Also a cafe or similar is badly needed at the other (think there might have been previously, but definitely closed when I visited).

The teleférico provides beautiful 360 degree views from 4 person cable cars that traverse Madrid from the Rosales Station near the Templo de Debod to the Casa de Campo. We bought round trip tickets because we didn’t have another way to get back. The park, Casa de Campo, is above the city with wonderful views, and areas to picnic, hike, or bicycle. The eating area at the top was closed and we did not explore other options. This is a good way to see more than the old part of Madrid from above.

This is a fun way to see Madrid from above. It is especially great if you have children, as there is a fun park at the top to play in before making the return trip down.

We were pleased we used the cable car for a different perspective of Madrid. Opens at 12 midday and what seemed like a long queue went down very quickly. Got off at the park. The only thing available to do there was walking. The cafe was closed. There are toilet facilities at either end of the cable car.

The cafe is currently closed for refurbishment meaning there is no cafe anywhere near the cable car so there is no where to get refreshments if you are meeting up with friends to travel together. It took over 45 minutes of queuing before I got onto the cable car to go back to the city from the park. This was partly due to the reduced number of cars in operation as it was nearing the end of the day and solo travelers being put in a car on their own (as I was). When the queue is so long it leaves the building I would have expected to share a car with someone else. A lovely scenic view from the cable car though.
