Could someone please confirm the opening hours of the Teleferico during August. The website is very unclear.

Thank you.

Thank you.
It's a terrible site, isn't it! You need to go to the operating hours section oddly, not the opening hours. Why? well if I knew the answer to that I'd have the secret to all webmasters in Spain!
http://teleferico.com/horarios-de-apertura
The hours are 9:00-14:00 and 15:00-18:00 Monday-Sunday and Holidays. Oddly these hours do not coinicide with the opening hours. So you'll need to download these from that link there. Good luck! What I suspect, is that if you stop by the Templo de Debod on the way and kick around there a bit and then head to the Teleferico by 10:00, you'll be all set.
june, july and august 2015:
12.00-21.00 hour.
september
12.00-20.00 hour.

Not to worry. I know now. And thank you both for your replies.
ptgita, where did you get that info?? Sheesh!! And I thought RENFE was bad! LOL!
I'm now confused as to what the correct information is! But, I'm going to consider myself safe to go between the hours of 1200-1400 and 1500-1800.
I'm happy enough with those windows and shan't try and be any cleverer with my planning.
wombat1223,
i believe you are correct in giving the info. the info i got was from the opening hours and schedule for 2014/2015. but like you say the website is very confusing. i have the hours you mentioned. but the opening hours do not tell you when you can ride the car. so i guess the rides are only operating from the time mentioned by you.
you are correct, this website is worse than renfe. sorry for the misinformation?? as i have currently in santiago de compostela for the summer.
Oh ptgita, how I envy your summer in Santiago! I know you're working hard there for others, but selfishly I'd so much rather be there than here in the hot and humid southern US! Alas, it is not to be this summer. One day soon, my husband will finish this book and another project will bring us back to Spain, I am certain of it! LOL!
wombat1223,
i hope you come back soon to madrid and sdc. however sdc and galicia at the moment is very hot in the daytime and cold at night. temperature of 32 degree centigrade in the day and 12-15 at night. hottest place in ourense at 40 degrees. and this coming week and we are expecting temperature up to 40 degrees.
i hope to go back to madrid for a few days.
get your husband to apply for a grant and come to university of santiago de compostela for a research project.
Oh that would be lovely indeed! I think next summer may be in Hong Kong (this summer was supposed to be but the program got too few participants) but perhaps the summer after? One can only hope! LOL!
