What travellers are saying
- JessieYorba Linda, CA10 contributionsVery beautiful. Sunset is amazing. Not many people speak English but you can get your point across. We met some really nice tourists there. Good place to make friends.Written October 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- vacleanCambridge, MA461 contributionsThis is real paradise for old technology lovers - cars, bikes, prams, heaters, radios, etc., etc. The descriptions are in Czech only, though.Written September 30, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martin Thurgood TOttery St. Mary, UK2,502 contributionsA small castle/chateau that is worth a visit. The Chateau’s guided tour helped by explaining the development of the building over many centuries. The Chateau is on a different scale to many of the places in nearby Southern Bohemia and that makes for a visit with a difference. The Knights Chambers and the collection of historic weapons is but one interesting feature.Written August 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DaniPants1Vancouver, Canada91 contributionsTower climb only costs 40czk and is 100% worth it. The stairs are narrow and steep, and you have to duck under the bells at one section - which all makes it more authentic! Views from the top are absolutely stunning. One of my favourite views in Czechia!Written June 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jana CPrague, Czech Republic4,663 contributionsNo. 15 house was a burgher house. On the facade, a rare sgraffito decoration with biblical motifs from the second half of the 16th century was for a long time covered, discovered and restored in 1952. The sgraffito features scenes of Crucifixion, Saul and David, Justice, and others.
You can find it at the main square.Written August 22, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Church tower offers nice view on Telc center and surroundings. During our visit there was a painting gallery inside of the tower lining the staircase, but I do not know if the paintings are always there.
Inside of the church are several tabloids about church history and present, but I cannot recall if they were in english or just czech language.Written August 6, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The setting is extremely pleasant, and the cafe service fine indeed.Written June 27, 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - vacleanCambridge, MA461 contributionsThe watch tower is about a mile walk from the town center only. It offers views of the town you hardly get from the town towers. A small charge (20 or 30 CZK) has to be paid.Written September 30, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
