Estelle Nussbaum Harris, a beloved American Actress, Comedienne and Voice-over artist best known for her role as Estelle Costanza on Seinfield, was born on April 22, 1928 in Manhattan, New York to Isaac Ira and Anna Nussbaum who were Polish Jewish immigrants. Estelle is known for her exaggerated shrill and loud voice. Estelle graduated from Tarentum High School. In 1952, she met window treatment salesman Sy at a dance and six months later, the couple got married. They had two sons and a daughter; Eric, Glen and Taryn with three grandchildren.
Her other roles include the voice of Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story franchise, Muriel in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and Mama Gunda in Tarzan II. According to Glen Harris, Estelle’s son, she died of natural cause on April 2, 2022 at the age of 93 at home in Palm Desert California, just two days before her 94th birthday.
