Karl Lynden Braley Jr., 75, born in Saco-Biddeford, ME, passed away peacefully, in the presence of loved ones, on 30 April, 2024, in Chesapeake, VA. Karl was born March 24th, 1949 to the late Karl and Jean (Davis) Braley and is preceded in death by brother Steven Braley. He was a graduate of Hopkinton Junior Senior HS, class of 1968.

Karl retired from the United States Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer, after 28 years of honorable service to his country. The many stories told by his fellow crew members and personnel in his charge serve to exemplify what it means to be a true friend, leader, and mentor.
