ApartHotel Maly Krakow is situated in exact center of Krakow - a 2 minute stroll from Main Market. It is placed in neighborhood of baroque Saint Florian Church which marks the beginning of the historic tract called Royal Route (Via Regia). It leads through the city center to Wawel. Special guests who arrived to Krakow were welcomed by City Council and aldermen right there. At Royal Route there are many monumental buildings which remember colorful monarchal corteges.

As other reviews have said the location is great for walking into the Old Town, 5 minutes and the shopping centre 2 minutes.
Great for public transport if you travel in from the airport.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are good, clean and have a kitchenette. Breakfast across the road was fine, also opposite is another great bakery/cafe and convenience store.
There are only 16 rooms, all ground floor, the only negative is that the noise insulation isn't great and comings and goings can be noisy at times. Krakow is a great place to visit.

Spent 3 nights at this place and have to say, its a lovely place, very clean and great amenities. The room was a great size, the beds are so comfortable, don't think I have ever slept so well in my own bed. There is a small kitchen in the room, with a hob and fridge. The kitchen came with cups, glasses, plates, cutlery and pans (Not that we did any cooking but was great to be able to make tea/coffee in the room.

The location of the Aparthotel is perfect, 2 minutes from the main mall and train station and 10 minute walk to the main square. We used the train station to travel to Auschwitz and Berkenhaus camps, and also to get to the airport when returning home (Trains are very cheap. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone going for a visit

The hotel pleasantly surprised us with the convenience of the room. We needed a short rest, we got it with coffee and tea in the room. We are very grateful to the staff for checking us in earlier than the specified time! The room has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a shower

The location is also very convenient - very close to the railway station, the old town and shops.

My partner and I booked this hotel as part of a last-minute.com deal. We arrived at the hotel to find a note on the door saying that the reception desk over the road from the actual hotel. The main rooms are gated off, this gate is closed during the evening and the receptionist said that we needed to call him if we wanted to get inside this, I wasn't really expecting to have to call someone everything I nipped out but went with it.

It's worth noting that I wasn't expecting a classy hotel and booked this as a cheap get away. On arrival we found the room basic as expected, however on closer inspection we realised that it was actually dirty....which was of course wasn't expected at all.

The room itself smelled of stale cigarettes and we were forced to open the windows to get a bit of air inside. We were a couple travelling and asked for a double bed but instead found two single beds in it's place, this was made worse by the fact the springs in one were totally knackered and sticking out from the mattress. I peeled back the sheet and the mattress topper flipped back to reveal a fair amount of hair....not just head hair either!

There were dirty brown/orange stains over the topper and the pillows. It was at this point I decided to book up a decent hotel and refused to stay there a moment longer. My partner noticed that there was hair inside the shower cubical and around the toilet too which was a nice finishing touch.

I am really gutted I took a punt on this hotel especially as I paid best part of 300 quid on top of the price just to sort myself out with a decent bed and room. I would definitely stay clear of this place!

I was never our intention to spoil your holidays as we always try to provide the very best service - both cleaning and reception vise. We will be learning from our mistakes and check the rooms double, so there are no issues with cleaning and just overall feeling of the room. Visited for a 4 night stay as a couple. Arrived late evening. The hotel is brilliantly located some 2 minutes from the train station and a huge shopping centre and some 7 minutes walk from the main square. Disappointingly nobody is at reception when you arrive, a note on the door directs you to a nearby hotel to get your key. The check in process is smooth. The room was very basic as you would probably expect for the price. It was very clean. Our biggest problem was 2 single beds pushed together. The beds were in an alcove and the only way you could get on the beds was by climbing on from the bottom end. We were told that the gates to the apartments were locked at 2200hrs and given the number to call for access. We double checked the number with the receptionist. When we got back to the aparthotel the gates were locked and the number didn’t work. Back to the other hotel and was eventually given the right number. We didn’t see 1 member of staff in the aparthotel throughout our stay. We asked for a change of towels midstay and it was done straight away. It didn’t bother us but there are plenty of street drinkers/sleepers in the area.

The Maly Krakow is a quiet oasis, in its own private courtyard. 24 hour reception is available at the Red Brick Apts across the road. The room was clean, basic and had a fantastic power shower. Small kitchen, great for making a cuppa or a coffee. Full size fridge. The location is excellent, walking distance from the train and coach station. And not far from the Main Square. There are excellent shops just across the road for pastries, sandwiches or sit in for your breakfast. Staff could not be any more helpful and are very friendly. Beds were super comfy. A nice little extra is the chilled water machine in the hall, where you can refill your water bottle. Very peaceful. The room walls are a bit thin but nothing that a nice pair of ear plugs would fix if you want an early bed and next door has the TV on. I never travel without them. All in all, excellent accommodation at a super price. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at the Maly Krakow Apart Hotel for a 4 night 5 day city break, the rooms were warm and clean although I must say I think the mattress had just about had it and may want replacing. For a budget hotel it was very well equipped Hair dryer, TV, Kettle, hot plate and full size fridge . Never used the hot plate, hair dryer or TV so can’t comment on these. To check in you have to cross the road and use the sister hotel called The Red Bricks the staff there are very professional and helpful. There is a gate to the Maly hotel that locks automatically at 10pm and opens at 6am if you return after 10pm you simply ring the Red Bricks and they open the gate remotely everything is explained to you when you check in. Housekeeping is by appointment. There is a bakery and small convenience store directly across the road and a huge shopping mall 100 yards father down. The hotel is only 600 yards from the walls of the old town. I am not going to recommend places in the old town to eat or drink or recommend places to visit , take your time and walk round the entire old town also the woodland walks round the exterior of the old town , just explore it’s an amazing place . Taxi fare from the airport to that part of Krakow is a flat rate at 129 ZL about £24 one way (only use the black cabs parked outside the arrivals building they are sanction by the town council). The Red Bricks staff can also help to book any trips out (Salt Mine etc.) and also your transfer back to the airport. Would I return to the Maly and Krakow yes I would

It would be sacrilege to call it a hotel because it has nothing to do with a hotel.it is a terrible accommodation that has only one positive that it is located in front of a shopping center. I've been three days without them once cleaning what they call a room that I would liken to a mouse hole. for three days I have the same towel the whole floor is very dirty because there is a lot of snow outside and it has filled with mud in the room And yet no one has cared to clean it. It is the worst hotel shame I have stayed in my life. the breakfast they throw in a bag outsidefrom the door it consists of bread and bread and at the end bread but the charge they make is 70 euros a day. It is unacceptable that they charge so much for something so awful and dirty. with the friendly couple staying in the next room we complained that the bed was broken and if possiblesomeone from maintenance to fix it.guess what was the answer?? to put the mattress down and sleep!!!! in which country do they give such a stupid answer??? the next day the bed was not fixed and we asked another employee if there is a room to change. the employee kindly gave us another room but it seems that he received a very big remark from his manager because they sent us a message on the mobile phone to go back to the room we had from the beginning..conclusion.. it's an awful hotel to take very seriously and if you have any other choice to go for it because you know for sure that you will cry for the money they will take from you.. It's not worth it.. The worst... I hope someone who is held responsible reads this message and is ashamed

This hotel was ideally situated close to the town centre and restaurants. Our room was small but had all the necessary needs, very clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. An excellent and generous breakfast was provided at a nearby hotel by obtaining a meal voucher from reception. We shall definitely return.

This was our third visit to Krakow and our first at this hotel. It was difficult to find initially and we ended up in the wrong hotel. We did work it out, you have to go to the reception across the road to the Red Bricks apartment buildings.
The hotel itself is very small with just a few rooms. The rooms were small and basic. You have to ask at the reception if you would like your towels and bedding changed.
The gate is locked at 10pm, if you're in later than that you ask at reception and they will unlock the gate.
The shower was good and the bathroom was clean, hairdryer, shower gel and hand-wash provided.
The bedroom was quite small with a small kitchen area and fridge.
One very small wardrobe and no drawers.
The area was quite noisy next to a road and a church and alot of birds on a morning.
The hotel was about a 5minute walk away from the main square. Would stay again if needed it served its purpose

The train is very easy to get from the airport just follow the signs. When you arrive I krakow just walk straight through the shopping centre and when you exit the galleria krakowska centre the Maly Krakow is in the street opposite. Have a look at Google maps which makes it easy. Train costs 18 zlotys for 2 people taxi was 46 zlotys. Apologies for not replying sooner but couldn't access question on this site at first.

Only small shops might be open on this day. Salt Mine will be open also on Easter Monday. Auschwitz will be open from Tuesday again. Do not hesitate to contact us, if yu have more questions!
