Our family of four stayed at the Augustine between Aug 07-12, it was everything we were looking forward to. We booked two rooms as our girls are 7 and 12 and one room can only accommodate up to three people. What an experience it was! The hotel is located so centrally and it super easy to get to from the airport. Taxi drivers can be dishonest though and charge way more than the actual metre. It should cost roughly 500 crowns and anything more is probably a scam. They also take credit card, so don't let them make you take out cash from a bank machine unless you already have some. As for the Augustine, we had the pleasure of Jakub Janovic checking us in, he was attentive and kind and one of the friendliest faces we saw all week. He was working throughout the week and never let

Located in Lesser Town (other side of river from Old Town) with great proximity to Prague Castle and to the Charles Bridge. It is a converted monastery. They also added on some extra rooms. Best to stay in the monastery building. Newer section could definitely have noise issues as is located right near the street where street cars run frequently. Very nice room with a modern flair. Very nice breakfast in the morning and also an enjoyable bar area. Staff was super friendly and helpful stuff check in. Highly recommend.

Loved this hotel. Just a few meters from Charles Bridge, it was just wonderful to be able to relax and take a break from crazy touristy Prague. Beautiful restaurant and garden area. The best part was the bar, where Carlo treated us like royalty.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained with friendly and personable staff. The location was terrific, close to the Charles Bridge and other tourist sights. The concierge went above and beyond to provide for our family's needs while on our vacation. Highly recommend.

I have stayed in a few hotels in Prague and so far the Augustine has been the best for me. Since I checked in the staff was ready and happy to help me with everything. I got a very nice and clean room full of light, the bathroom was spotless, which is a must for me. I ordered room service and also ate at their restaurant and the food was always very delicious and fresh. The location of the hotel was also great and it was easy to get access to public transportation. This hotel is beautiful and I recommend it to all my family and friends who want to visit Prague. It's a romantic place and I am definitely going back!

- Location cannot be better, convenient access to trams and walking distance to Prague Castle, Charles bridge and many others. It is on the better side of the river, quiet at night, no drunk people. You can start early with the buffet breakfast, enjoy sightseeing, comes back to rest in the afternoon and head out for dinner and enjoying the evening around town. Safe to walk everywhere, even at midnight walking back to the hotel. - ONE caution is the room location, like other reviewers stated, tram noise if you are facing the street. However, tram does stop running late at night around or at least I could not hear and had no issue sleeping thru the nights. The trams do start early in the morning. You can treat this as your alarm to wake for a fun and full day. You do hear

Your location cannot get much better than this. The hotel is located within all the main attractions: Charles Bridge, Wallenstein Gardens, Prague Castle, and St. Nicholas Church. The hotel is also located near 2 tram stops allowing you to get to New Town and other parts of Prague with ease (FYI the hotel sells tram tickets as stalls that sell tickets are often hard to find). On top of the excellent location, the service was impeccable. Everybody from the doorman to the restaurant hostess made us feel welcomed and pampered. Furthermore, rooms are charming and well equipped. A nice touch I enjoyed was the constant supply of complimentary still and sparkling water bottles to our room -- something that often costs money at other 5 star establishments. However, my one complaint is

My partner and I recently spent 4 nights in this beautiful hotel which is located close to many of the best sights in Prague. Everything about this place is great from the check in process to the room to the service culture that is demonstrated by all the employees. The hotel is unique in that there are no real straight lines in the design such as the hallways which takes you on turns around the property. There are views of Prague a castle as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Augustine Hotel this trip. The Hotel was nice, clean, and had a unique feel. They did great job with interior design converting the monastery to the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and our meals were exquisite in presentation and taste. All the staff were very professional, helpful, and easy to talk to. In particular Teresa Spirnglova went above and beyond to make our stay extra memorable. We had planned to stay at Augustine for a single night, but because we fell in love with its atmosphere, we decided to extend our stay and Teresa accommodated our needs no hassle. Also she was very knowledgeable of the city and took the time to give us very clear directions.

We arrived at the Augustine after a full day of travel. Tired, jet lagged. But we get to this small gem of a hotel, kind of hidden, and fell in love with it. The rooms were spacious and all different, I think. We chose to eat in the hotel since we were so tired, and it was one of the best meals on our trip. The beer made there is great, also. The concierge, who was most helpful, had set up a tour for us, out of the city. No problems. The hotel location is great. Easy walk to most everything, including great restaurants. We want to return to Prague, and we will stay there.

I think that is the regular set up of the room, but maybe the Hotel would be in a better position to answer your question.
