Step into luxury in the heart of Prague. Centrally located in the heart of Prague between the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge, in the picturesque Lesser Town district, Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel, is the quintessence of Prague's historic character and beauty, dating back to 1284.
I must say that this hotel is truly wonderful. The enter staff was always so courteous and helpful to my family and myself. The rooms were very spacious, with comfy beds and spa like bathrooms. The bar downstairs was great as well and they also have their own brewery! The hotel was also in a great location, within walking distance of the major attractions, shops, restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend this hotel for any coming to the beautiful city of Prague!

Stayed at this beautiful hotel in September 2016. The location was excellent and close to the Charles Bridge. Make sure to ask for a room NOT on the bus line . Food excellent. Cave like bar was excellent. After a day of the noisy city, it was a peaceful first class hotel. The most pleasant hotel staff I ever experienced.

"There are still a few monks living on premises," explains the hotel guest relations as she personally walked us into the room. After all, Luxury Collection's The Augustine was a former monastery, restored into a beautiful boutique hotel in the Malá Strana district of Prague. Of all my travels, the welcome experience at The Augustine was simply the most personalised and refined. It's too bad that I don't remember the guest relations officer’s name that attended to us while I write this, but she deserved a special shout out for sure. The hotel itself follows the original layout of the St Thomas Monastery, combining former cellars and domains into guest rooms. As such, the hotel can be a maze of ups and downs. It's a beautiful hotel to walk around and explore. The corridors…

I loved this hotel. It used to be a monastery and has brewed it's own label of dark beer for hundreds of years. I loved their beer and I am not usually much of a beer drinker. They also have their own brand of chocolate. The rooms vary quite a lot because it is such an old building redone into an upscale hotel. Ours was plenty large and very nicely appointed. We found several electrical outlets in the bedroom as well as the shaver outlet in the bathroom. The personal amenities were awesome, included robes and slippers, lotions, shiners, shower cap, hair dryer, makeup mirror, vanity table (with outlet since you can't plug the dryer in the bathroom), turndown service, the works. The bathroom floor and I think the towel rack was heated. The breakfast buffet was included…

My husband and I recently traveled to Prague for the first time and stayed at the Augustine, Luxury Collection hotel for 3 nights. Loved our room, with was large and well appointed, the service throughout our stay was very high level, location was perfect, a short walk to the Charles Bridge and the food was wonderful. We were very pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend the Augustine to anyone going to Prague.

Loved this place, we had all 5 nights booked at the Sheraton Prague, but we decided to let go off the points for two nights(SPG platinum) there and come stay at Augustine . We had come by on the 2nd night and had drinks at the bar and decided we just had to stay there.. So we took the hit on the points . :( The hotel service was amazing from front desk to their awesome texting concierge service...(we used this service a lot). Also, Gary the bellman was awesome. Do have a drink at the bar and also outside. Loved the heated floors of the bathroom- that was very cool to experience. Very close to Charles bridge, and loved the proximity to everything.

We've been here for 4 nights after our wedding. The location is superb: 10 minute walking from all the main attractions of the city. The hotel itself was a monastery that was then turned into a hotel. It's different from the usual 5 stars hotel, it has a particular flair and we just loved it! It is not cheap, of course, but it's worth every penny. Service was excellent and also the cocktails good. Special mention to their beer and own brewery. Just awesome!

Great service and welcome. Good breakfast. Very spacious rooms, and nice bathroom. Fantastic sauna and hammam (both were at high temperatures). The location is very good as well. Not in the noisy/touristy city center, but right on the other side of the river of Charles bridge. Also on this side (mala strana) side of the river you had good bars and restaurants. Loved the location. I had a good stay. Liked the complimentatry shoe service.

Would highly recommend Augustine. Hotel is in a great location - close to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, near Old Town and in Little Quarter. Staff was extremely welcoming from the men who carried our bags (and did our complimentary shoe shining!), to the reception who welcomed us with drinks and helped us to our room. We traveled with our 1-year old and were brought toys at breakfast for her to enjoy which was so appreciated as we're away from home for a long time this trip. We were taken on a private tour of the old pub downstairs and got the pleasure of experiencing the special monk brewed beer by Pavla. Ask for her as she's extremely knowledgable about the area and hotel. There are still 4 monks onsite - and the hotel is silent. It's a wonderfully relaxing reprieve from the…

The Augustine is a lovely and historic property. The location is an easy walk to the Charles Bridge and numerous restaurants and tram stop. The staff is very helpful and friendly...met all expectations and I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to travelers.
