Brewery located just in outskirts of town in small office/ businnes park. Parking was easy. Once you find the place, it's small and cozy, not much thought put into design, but welcoming. No pretentions. Rack of board games available. Good tap list and one of the few breweries I've been in where there is a resident brewery cat. (Apocolypse in Lousiville and Brewery 33 in Hocking HIlls come to mind). Crowd was fluid. Affable staff and good beer.

Cool place that is focused on the beer, but there is always someone to talk beer or whatever with. Friendly tap minders and views into the Brewery are a draw.

Spellbound BC has a great and unique selection of beer. The quality of their brews is high. They have been canning for some time now, and I really enjoy their easy drinking pale ale. The porter on Palo Santo is also a good one that they can. Haven't had a beer here that I didn't like.
The good: high quality brews, lots of unique beer options for everyone, canning/distributing locally, rotations
The bad: nothing special about taproom/location, bartenders not the friendliest

This place is kind of hidden in a multi-unit warehouse area, but basically pull into the first parking lot and look for the smallish Spellbound Brewing sign by a metal gate. Follow the walkway and you enter a smallish tasting room that was full of boisterous patrons enjoying the beers. There is a wood bar that can seat about 10 folks, and part of it has a view through a window into the brewing area. A few tables and refridgerator filled with cans to go fill the remaining space. A blackboard lists the beers along with one page sheets throughout the room.
On this visit there were 18 on draft including two firkins. The beers I had were of good quality and enjoyable. Service was very friendly and fast to fill your order. This is a great place to stop with a group of friends and enjoy a few pints.

Atmosphere – Situated in a warehouse like community, the inside resembled a plane hanger. Upon entering through a steel gate, there is a long pathway nestled between buildings leading up to the front door, giving you the impression of backalleys and breezeways of European nature, almost speakeasy in concept. The interior was neat, simple, and open, a large bar seating 10-12 with multi-colored wood panels sits against the back-wall with 2 large windows peering into the brewing area. Additional seating of tables and bar stools along the back wall can accompany a rather large crowd if need be. Merchandise lines the back-wall as well a medal from GABF for their Porter on Palo Santo, a must try when stopping in. A nice place to hang out and filled with locals on first name basis. Family friendly atmosphere, kids with parents are welcomed. Ample parking and nice out of the way setting on the outskirts of Mt. Holly. Some outdoor seating for the summer time, and the brewery itself from pictures I saw, provide ample space and table room for well over 500 need be on special occasions.
Service – was friendly and fast. Stopping in at the 4pm opening time on a Friday, there was already a line of people with growlers in hand and expectations, and filled up rather quickly. Was asked for samples before I tried, and a walkthrough being my first time.
Selection – with at least 10 beers on tap, there was a nice variety. Couple IPA’s, a pale, a couple stout varieties, a Belgian trippel, an old bruin, pumpkin, herb style ipa, oaked aged beers, nitro selection with most being of the generous abv nature. I got to try 4 beers and left wondering about several others until the next visit. Flights are also available and seem to be popular here.
Price – Very reasonable price, My 4 beer selections which included the BBl aged stout, double ipa, Belgian trippel, and porter on palo santo came to $20, so I would say a very good deal.
Brewery – having taken a walkthrough I was quite impressed with the size of the operation for such a notable small brewery. 7 (20bbl) fermentation tanks, 20bbl brewing tank, and 2 brite tanks, all from which I am told are constantly filled and rotated with new product. There is a small can labeling line for one off’s, a large 500+ sq.foot cooler and some Buffalo trace barrels in the back for aging. A small grinding room which transfers the grains to the tank. Lots of room for expansion if need be. Very nice and clean layout, and as mentioned earlier, sits in a warehouse, almost hanger type of setting. They also had a centrifuge on site.
Overall I really liked the setting, and access to the brewery, bringing an old world type of feel. The pricing was very good, the beers were generous in abv% and cleanly filtered. a nice comfortable environment to which to enjoy everything. Definitely worth a stop and visit when in town. Hrs are usually limited to after 4pm wed-fri and 12pm sat and Sunday.

We stopped here during a fun day-long tour of breweries around Philly/South Jersey... the nearby Village Idiot didn't impress us, but Spellbound sure did! They are in the outskirts of Mt Holly and have a big space., with a bar upfront and the brewery behind. They are expanding and poised to do big things- one of the owners gave us a little private tour and showed us the canning line and even opened a bottle of their bourbon-barrel imperial stout, which is super delicious and bourbon-y even though it is barreled for only three months.
Upfront at the bar they have a nice variety of brews: imperial stout, oud bruin, porter aged on palo santo, Belgian cherry tripel, IPA, pale ale and more. Some are great (oud bruin, imperial stout) and some are good (porter in palo santo) but all are interesting and different.
Definitely a brewery to watch and follow.

Another brewery located in an industrial park. I stopped on a Saturday with a couple of friends after hitting Village Idiot right around the corner.
The tap room was busy and stayed that way through our stay with a constant flow of people in and out. Pretty bare bones room with a small bar along one side with 10-12 seats and 5 or 6 tables in the middle.
After taking the mandatory tour (laminated photos of the brewing process), we settled in at a high-top table with our flights. Every beer I tried was good to very good, not a bad one in the bunch. They could use some more seating, but otherwise no complaints. I went there for the beer, not the atmosphere, and the beer didn't disappoint.
