Our meals were fantastic! The 2 Beet Salad...fresh and delicious, great taste treat. Our main meals were outstanding! The rib eye steak was made to perfection, the Blackened Hogfish delicious and the Drunken Scallops sound bazaar but we're the best! Drinks were tasty. The atmosphere...wonderful, right at the beach/oceanfront. Very friendly staff. The entire evening was memorable. A must try!

This cafe is set in a very picturesque location. If you sit by the window it feels like you might as well be having breakfast on the beach. The prices were very affordable and the portions large. Parking is a pain so you are better off getting there by foot or bike.

Food was good here. Nice view of the beach. I had conch fritters and ceviche. Both were good but the ceviche was REALLY good. Very fresh. Cold beers and mixed drinks. Tourist tip: Occasionally topless locals will be at this beach, I never saw any, but met a local who said she does go topless, along with others, at this beach. She said she likes to sit over by the wall...so if you have children, you may want to sit on the other side of the restaurant nearest to the entrance of the restaurant. If you want to lay out at the beach, there is an attendant there that will get you a chair for I think it was $10ea. Very nice gentleman. I "think" his name was Fernando? Something like that. He brought us complementary magazines to look at while we did absolutely nothing but lay on our chairs and enjoy the view. Speaking of the "view", however, I don't know if it was just when I was there or not, but the water is not the prettiest close to the beach here (muddy). It IS pretty farther out, but wasn't great the day I visited. Could've just been the weather. I don't know.

OK, this place needs a good cleaning. One thing to keep in mind, it basically is an outdoor cafe with a patio cover. Needless to say.........all the birds on the look-out for food that has dropped on the floor. I will give the staff a lot of credit for not harming any the birds -- they just shoo them away with a spray bottle. Service started off slow but once food was ordered, from that point on, service became very good. The energy is a bit erratic. We went for lunch, and I have to say, the food was very, very good. This place is so busy and they just turn the tables as fast as they can. At least one additional wait person would have been good. For the type of food they serve, it was a bit on the pricey side -- being right on the beach, that is always going to bump up cost. While I do not see myself going back here for a meal, I could see stopping by for a drink or two at sunset or after an early dinner.
