Decently priced! I had the tempura battered chicken strips, and my husband had steak and eggs. It was to die for. No seriously, he got food poisoning from the eggs 😣 my chicken was great though! And the margaritas were the best on the island!

We got sat right away from out 7:15 reservation. We waited 10 minutes until a server came to take out drink order. We got the mushroom stack as appetizer. It was well seasoned and tender. The lettuce that accompanies it was dry and we had to ask for more dressing. I ordered the yellow tail snapper and my wife ordered the Cobia. We truly enjoyed the fresh fish. I had with a lemon glaze and she had the cobia blackened. The menu says the chef will come talk to you about your meal with the fresh catch. That is not true. The server goes over the options. That ok but the menu expresses the fact. The cilantro rice with the lemon glazed snapper is absolutely wonderful. It has a balanced flavor profile with a citrus flair. The Cobia is lightly blackened. The sweet grilled Brussels sprouts are great. Definitely worth the the visit

For the volume of people they serve in this large tourist destination restaurant, the food was surprisingly delicious. We would definitely eat here again.

Based on reviews I decided to give the Southernmost Beach Cafe a try. I selected the Avocado Toast Trio which sounded delightful . . . on the menu. It was described as "Whole grain toast, avocado mousse, sunny-side egg, roasted tomato, crispy bacon and fresh fruit." It was served on Cuban Bread which is white not whole wheat flour. It was ground up bacon which, while crispy, was not what I expected. All of it was cold which is a sure sign that everything is pre made sitting in trays not made to order. I would expect freshly made at this price. The only good thing was the fruit which was ripe and fresh. I can only rate Southernmost Beach Cafe average at best.

Visited this Saturday night for dinner with a group of eight. Were seated right next to the beach on a most beautiful Key West evening. The restaurant has a big patio style are for seating and it is next to a beach that has a small pier. Lots of people walking over to take pictures.
The server was fast and friendly. Explained to us the specials of the day and put in our drink orders right away. The drinks were brought by another server and our waters were refilled by someone else. I had the Piña Colada (Cafe Colada) and it was delicious. My wife had the Mango Mojito and that was also very delicious.
For dinner my wife and I split the Fried Chicken which came with loaded mash potatoes, corn on the cob and we added a side of the Lobster Mac and Cheese. The chicken was very tender and perfectly fried in the outside. I believe that it was cooked Sous Vide style before frying because the tenderness and cooking was perfect. I loved it. The potatoes were good but the Lobster Mac and Cheese was completely amazing. Super creamy and good amount of lobster in it.
Overall, I had a really good experience here and their portions are not small at all. Service was excellent and I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Key West. - 71948728518/31/2018
Want a full Key West feel? Then this place is the spot. Dining while watching the sunset over the water is heaven to me.
Now, let me say that the service was excellent and the drink were beyond refreshing.
Let's talk the real talk about the food! I can't even begin to say how delicious my meal was. Actually everyone's food choice looked amazing. The plates are big enough to share. We ordered the drunken scallops, which is served over a large portion of lobster mash, which was so flippin good! I could have had just the mash and been happy. The Scallops were perfectly cooked in duck fat, pale ale, shallots and bacon. For an additional side dish, we ordered the apple bacon Mac and cheese. It was so cheesy and apples were crispy. It just was all well balanced in the palate. I also got to taste the truffle tater tots, which were nice and crispy. I would add a little heat to them to mix well with the truffle flavor, but still just as good like that.
So, will I be going back on my next visit? Heck yeah, I will! And now who's coming with me!? - 364783422/9/2020Updated review
A basic beach cafe overlooking a small sand beach and pier on the ocean. This place has a French cafe vibe but it's Key West so there are roosters everywhere, on the walls, walking around in the dining area. They assume everyone is a meat-eating carnivore by adding bacon strips to the Bloody Mary cocktails -- which offended the vegetarians at the table because it wasn't described like that in the menu. Salads, fruit plates, Beyond Burger and fries. Prosecco at the waterfront. Blackened fish and blue cheese arugula salad. Views for days earns this three star review, and the food is a solid two stars.

I had the macadamia nut panko fried snapper!! I also shared the "Black N Bleu" salad which was refreshing and delicious! Such a delightful meal with a beautiful view of the Southernmost Pier and beach. Would definitely eat here again and have a cocktail

Food was great. Started with the pork belly appetizer that was soo yummy. I had the brined pork chop with sweet mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The food was cooked perfectly and the sauce on the chop was excellent.
The rest of my group had fish all different ways (fried or grilled) and they loved their dish. They did fight over a mango sauce that one of the dishes came with. Had to order more because they really liked it. - Hu N.Lexington, KY010831/20/2022
On the plus side, the Yellowtail Snapper catch of the day was fantastic. Fresh tasting and perfectly cooked. Succulent! But the Mahi sandwich was a complete failure. Sent the first serving back as it was vastly overcooked and inedible. Second try was not much better; very tough and dry. Each entree was about $10 overpriced compared to other meals we had on the island. Service was barely adequate as we had to wave down staff and ask them to send our server. View is great but never again.

Food was delicious and fresh (calamari and drunken scallops)! Service was great - we had a. friendly and attentive waitress. And, of course, a great view of the ocean. A little odd that you're right on top of the public beach so lots of things to see while you're eating, but...can't complain too much...you're in Key West...
Also, beer menu is lacking, so between those 2 things I had to give it 4 stars. Otherwise, a great spot!
