southwest is literally the best school in the area that i could ask for, the administration is great (love you mr b), the teachers are overall looking out for you although the counselors are super slow in everything and good luck getting an email back from them but overall the faculty is great. the finance academy is amazing and the teachers of the academy have been one of the best teachers ive had in my entire life, the school is big enough for it to feel not crowded but not too big that changing classes takes 10 minutes. the school has a smoothie spot, snacks are sold in basically every corner, theres a cafe that sells coffee and boba tea that is managed by the special ed kids and its so good. the school pride is literally off the charts like if you go to southwest you'll automatically feel proud to be an eagle and you'll be chanting sawesera within 10 mins. GO TO THE FOOTBALL GAMES i cant stress this enough you need to go to the football games especially the one against coral park!
I really liked the sports in my school. As a wrestler i can only say the best about all the effort that was put in my by coaches, below students and teachers. But as the president of Several clubs and a member of many more, I feel like my school has an issue when it boils down to funding. All of our academies could be so much better and advance the student body further if we had the funding to do so.
Caring teacher and staff. Lots of opportunities to be involved in student life with the variety of clubs and sports they offer.
