Rock & Pop

Our rockstars returned to the stage in a packed Waterlow Hall – a fundraiser to support the Turkey and Syria earthquake appeal.

Staff and students – from the Junior School to the Sixth Form – showcased their talents at our second pop concert this year.  Solos, duets and bands spanned a multitude of styles – from musical theatre and ballads to 70s rock. Highlights included Katie in Year 11 singing an original song, the Year 6 band Radioactive Crib playing ‘Dakota’ and, of course, the teacher band rendition of ‘Good 4 U’.

7 Stars, our Music Captain Livvy’s band, dressed as cowboys and performed Led Zepplin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ to close the night, met with supportive cheers.  Livvy, who organised the event, commented: “We were delighted to have raised over £500 for the DEC Turkey and Syria earthquake appeal in a way that allowed us to come together as a community.”
