You’re going to want to slip Sofía Vergara’s jetlag routine into your back pocket, for the next time you hop off a long flight. The actress posed in a luxurious marble bathtub in Paris, looking completely make-up-free and glowing.
“2am jetlag planning how to get this bathtub to LA🤣🤣 #paris” Sofía, 51, captioned the bare-faced photo.
Of course, Sofía’s fans loved seeing her rock this rare makeup-free moment. “Wow spectacular on natural!😍😘👌🏼👑” wrote one follower. Jessia Alba and Paris Hilton both commented with heart-eye emojis, too.
Before you start feverishly Googling Sofía’s skincare routine, look no further. First things first—Sofía knows her skin well. After years of standing underneath high-heat lamps on TV sets, she said she’s developed rosacea, an inflammatory skin condition that causes reddening of the skin.
“It's hard because I get really red, so I've realized that I've had to treat my skin like sensitive skin, where I didn't before. I can't really wear rich moisturizers or rich oils. Now I have to keep it simple,” she told Who What Wear in 2019. This meant ditching her harsh masks, and scrubs, in favor of Cetaphil cleanser and gentle eye remover. “I basically use anything calming. Nothing sexy."
Sofía makes sure her skin is protected from the sun at all times and started applying sunscreen to her face daily in her twenties, she told People. Her favorite sunscreens include La-Roche Posay, Supergoop! and La Mer's sunblock, she shared with Who What Wear.
Sofía also has her own beauty brand Toty, which offers sunscreen, skincare, makeup, and other wellness products, in collaboration with Cantabria Labs, the creator of Spanish skincare favorite Heliocare, per Harper’s Bazaar.
