Both movies were good. The second one was better. For some I like 70s horror. Plus you get the old movie theater ads.

I understand why some don't care for "God's Bloody Acre" but I like it. IMO, it has everything you want in a hicksploitation movie - Hicks, Nudity, Violence, Blood, Death & Mayhem. It moves along at a decent pace and while it's dated, it's dated well from the mid-70s.

"So Sad About Gloria" is not like by me. It's boring and doesn't make sense. The acting ranges from decent to bad. Yes, I understand suspension of disbelief in some movies/shows, but this really never explains anything so you get to the point of said suspension. Who's the killer? Never explained. Why? Never explained. Random? Never explained. Mommy issues? Never explained. Gloria has visions of some guy & an coffin I guess is the closest you'll get to a why. Not good and it moves at a snails pace.

I'm still on the fence on these Drive-In double features from Code Red / Dark Force Ent. The prints look decent from the 4 I have but could be better. The drive-in feature is only intermission commercials between movies (Elite Entertainment did a far better job 20 years ago on their Drive-In DVD series.) House on the Edge of the Park / Last House on Massacre Street is still my favorite release of the ones that I have.
