Slayer

Profile:	Thrash metal band formed in 1981 by Kerry King (guitar), Jeff Hanneman (guitar), Dave Lombardo (drums) and Tom Araya (vocals and bass) at Huntington Park, California U.S.A. In January 2018 the band announced the end of Slayer after a final tour which ended in November 2019. In February 2024 Slayer announced their reunion for two festival shows in September 2024.
