Beginning ‘the Year We Have All Been Waiting For,’ Days of Our Lives’ Arianne Zucker Sings the Praises of Her ‘Kind, Honest… Oh, and Sexy’ Fiancé

That’s right, Arianne Zucker has set a date to make an honest man out of longtime love Shawn Christian! The devoted duo, who met and fell for each other while working together on Days of Our Lives, announced that they’ve finally started planning their nuptials.

Can you believe Zucker and Christian been together a whole decade? Though he joined the show in 2008, they didn’t start dating until several years later. They got engaged on Father’s Day of 2021, during a romantic boat ride in Lake Tahoe, with an assist from Christian’s son Cameron and stepdaughter Taylor — and they’ve been on the wedding track ever since, even asking Instagram fans and followers for their input on venues in 2022.
We know Daniel and Nicole’s relationship didn’t necessarily take off with some Days of Our Lives viewers, but Zucker and Christian’s bond has flown and flourished. And she’s clearly her fiance’s biggest fan. “There are no words to explain how incredibly kind, honest, honorable, giving, heartfelt — oh, and sexy — this man is!” Zucker posted this week alongside some adorable photos featuring a discreet flash of her engagement ring.
Their fellow Salemites gathered in the replies with their heartfelt felicitations. “So beautiful!” said Stacy Haiduk. “And a big congratulations!”

“Viva el amor!” Camila Banus cheered, while Jen Lilley added “Love you so much!” and Emily O’Brien chimed with a “Mazel tov!” And lest you think Daniel’s daughter, Melanie, didn’t add her own well wishes, Molly Burnett replied to the announcement with a row of heart emoji.
“Even though we’ve been together for 10 years, [I] still can’t wait to call you my OFFICIAL husband!” gushed Zucker to her man, revealing that they’ll be very officially tying the knot “in another year” and adding, “I love you, Shawn Christian.”
A besotted Christian wrote back to her in the replies, saying “I’m so excited, blessed, and grateful to be sharing this wedding adventure with you, baby!”
Awwww. Congrats to the happy couple. Consider us officially RSVP-ed for the celebration in 2024.

He later was cast as <em>General Hospital</em> playboy Ned Quartermaine, a part he also plays while still working over at NBC. Kurth, a musician and part of the band Kurth & Taylor, has performed on both soap operas. He’s been married to his wife, Deborah Yuhasz, since 2003. They share a son, Brogan George. His previous marriage to Rena Sofer (previously Lois Cerullo on <em>General Hospital</em>, now Quinn Forrester on<em> Bold & Beautiful</em>) added to his family a daughter, Rosabel Rosalind.</p>

She was then cast as Adrienne Johnson on <em>Days of Our Lives </em>and currently plays the character’s look-alike, Bonnie Lockhart. She also played Paulina Cory on <em>Another World </em>and Maeve Stone on <em>As the World Turns. </em>She married Michael Luciano in 1993, and they had a son, Austin Michael, who tragically died in late 2019 at age 23.</p>

Tatum is an actor and author, best known for his role as Michael Hubbs in the cult classic <em>The Stoned Age. </em>They have one daughter, Sophia, also an actress (who appeared on <em>Days of Our Lives</em> as Xander’s masseuse).</p>

Before returning to <em>Days of Our Lives, </em>Aniston played Martin Tourneur on <em>Search for Tomorrow</em>.
