- Allyn79Janderup, Denmark32 contributionsWe did the 5km trail. Easy walking most of the way, only 2 spots where it went up steep stairs or a hill. Easy to spot deer numerous places along the trail, though at a distance. Glad we took binoculars to get a closer look. Many benches to stop at along the way if need to rest your legs. Also plenty of tables to have a picnic lunch.Written July 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- liverpool1023London, UK901 contributionsI was lucky to find the church open (there’s a sign inside!! the church giving the opening time as noon. The spacious and airy interior has widely spaced pews, stripped wood floors, white walls giving a peaceful but highly austere atmosphere.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mel RCopenhagen, Denmark4 contributionsIt is just full of tacky decorations, not worth the money.
I paid entrance to the 3 museums this village had to offer and I was not impressed.
The village of Haderslev is not worth a stop to be honest.Written October 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The town of Haderslev, with a population of over 22,000 is the main town and the administrative seat of Haderslev Municipality. The large cathedral, Haderslev Domkirke is a good example of its importance and a sign of the area's wealth. The cathedral has existed in various forms since before the 12th century. The current church, in its present form, was built between 1420 and 1440. Of course, as is always the case, it was added to over the years. Some of its features include the crucifix above the altar which dates from the 1300s, the organ which dates from 1652, and as is typical of these wonderful old churches, these features only scratch the surface. You have to visit these old historical churches to do them justice.
The town has unique collection of houses and buildings dating from the 1400s. There is good parking available just off the main square, park here and take a stroll down the cobbled streets to the city centre where you can explore the many shops and restaurants. Afterwards, buy a ready made lunch at the local grocery store and head down to the city's inner pond.
Enjoy!Written May 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Morten PCopenhagen, Denmark474 contributionsWe had a great city walk and we had a super skilled and very humorous guide.
It is highly recommended if you are in Christiansfeld.Written June 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are anual public arrangements in connection with May 1st and Easterday. Also a number of cultural events are hosted in the old buildings. - BodilHaderslev, Denmark13 contributionsI come often to Haderslev Dampark with my dog.
Wellkept flowers and greens.
Places to rest and eat picnic.
Playgrounds for very small children and one for older children. And just reasently you can go by boat on a tour to the larger lake.
I miss a corner in the park where dogs can play whitout a lead.Written June 18, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TwoAndAHalfTravellerVejle, Denmark749 contributionsThe church is really big and exceptionally beautifully decorated for a church in such a small community.
It is totally worth a visit and as everything in Christiansfeld it is close to the city center.Written May 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A lot of trees, also big ones. A peaceful place to wander around. In this wood you will find a small house with a veranda, a tiny chapel and monument in the front of the chapel and also another small house with a chimney. It is worth for a visitWritten October 16, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Torben AHellerup, Denmark339 contributionsLuckily for us, Årø Vingård (vineyard) had open for dinner this day and during most of the high season.
It’s a nice place with a small menu – but with nice dishes. The salmon salat was great and somewhat unusual and came fast – served by the winemaker himself. Tasteful and with a really good, hot smoked salmon from the island. The green leaves were a bit dominating, though.
We also had the house specialty flammkuchen. Crispy and tasty.
For drinks we had a small, four glass tasting – 3 whites and one red. All 4 were surprisingly good, especially the red, which has been on barrels for two years.
Prices are very decent. Staff isn’t professionals in serving, so no one came and asked, if we wanted more – which we did.
Apart from the dinner: It is Impressive to see, how they have build up a vineyard in 17 years.Written August 1, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At this moment, if you are not a skater enthusiast, you might not fully enjoy the place. It is, however, still a nice spot near the port, could only benefit from adding more versatile contents.Written August 19, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
