Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will carry out an undercover mission, so there’ll be a risky search for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) evidence. Here’s what Days fans can expect as this DOOL murder mystery unravels.
During the week of August 8-12, Xander and Sarah will become increasingly convinced that Gwen might’ve had something to do with Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder.
Sarah and Xander will seek proof that connects Gwen to Abigail’s death or at least shows she hasn’t been telling the whole truth.
Of course, Gwen has indeed been keeping secrets since she broke out of Statesville and returned after bed check.
It looks like Gwen donned the Sarah mask that night and snuck into the DiMera mansion.
Sarah and Xander may end up trying to prove all that, so let’s consider where their undercover mission might take them.
It’s possible Xander and Sarah will score entrance to Gwen’s motel room – perhaps by posing as cleaning staff or something along those lines.
That would give Xander and Sarah a chance to rummage through Gwen’s belongings for the mask or anything else that might link her to the murder.
However, there’s another angle that seems more likely based on some other Days spoilers.
We know Sarah and Xander will try to get Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to rat Gwen out following this undercover mission.
That could mean Xander and Sarah will go undercover at Statesville instead.
Maybe if Sarah and Xander talk to the right people, they can figure out the exact night Gwen escaped and determine that Ava was her accomplice.
This could lead to Xander and Sarah pushing Ava to betray Gwen – though they’d have to figure out how to threaten Ava or make it worth her while.
Ava is caught up in some new drama with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) now that she’s pretending to be Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) widow, but she could have to deal with some lingering Gwen drama, too.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah and Xander will do whatever it takes to find Abigail’s real killer, but the answer is likely far more surprising than Gwen!
