Synopsis
Nick Fury and team battle shape-shifting aliens called Skrulls who have discreetly infiltrated Earth
Set during the present-day MCU, Nick Fury discovers that a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls has secretly infiltrated Earth. In order to prevent an imminent Skrull invasion and safeguard humanity, Fury teams up with allies including Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and Skrull Talos, who has integrated into human society. Together, they race against time to stop the Skrulls and protect the planet.

Secret Invasion is a Disney+ action-adventure superhero miniseries created by Kyle Bradstreet. The miniseries draws inspiration from the "Secret Invasions” storyline from Brian Michael Bendis which was originally published in Marvel Comics in 2008. It is the ninth Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV series and is set within the continuity of the MCU films. Bradstreet, who serves as the series' head writer and creator, previously wrote nine episodes of the drama series Mr. Robot and served as a co-executive producer.
In Secret Invasion, Samuel L. Jackson returns to his role as Nick Fury, the founder of the Avengers and the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Other familiar characters include Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Don Cheadle as James "Rhodey" Rhodes also known as War Machine, and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross. Kingsley Ben-Adir plays the primary antagonist, Gravik, leader of the rebellious Skrulls. The series also features Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott and Carmen Ejogo in supporting roles.
