Biography

Before starting a career as Seals & Croft both Jim Seals and Dash Crofts were active in numerous bands such as The Mushrooms, The Dawnbreakers and The Champs. They wrote songs that were recorded by the likes of The Knickerbockers, Gene Vincent, Brenda Lee and Ricky Nelson.

They started recording as a duo in 1969 and did so until 1980. In 2004 they reworked a couple of old songs and recorded some new tracks on the album Traces.
