Check The Status of Your SBA.com® PPP Loan Request

SBA.com® Request Status Resource

URGENT PPP Update (5/5/21): Yesterday, the U.S. Small Business Administration abruptly stopped accepting all PPP loan applications, weeks short of the expected end-date. We are awaiting more information on remaining funds but new PPP requests on SBA.com may no longer be able to be submitted for approval. Stay tuned for more information.

PPP Update (3/30/21): President Biden has signed the PPP Extension Act of 2021 to extend the latest round of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) an additional 2 months. Originally slated to close on March 31, the program is now scheduled to end on May 31.

UPDATE 2/24/21: The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that in order to prioritize the smallest of small businesses for PPP funds, they will only be accepting applications from businesses with fewer than 20 employees until March 9. Further measures are also being pursued to promote equitable access to relief and those details can be found here. This is welcome news as a significant portion of our visitors fall in this bucket!

For visitors that have a request for a PPP Loan with SBA.com®

If you started a PPP Loan request on SBA.com®, and need support please read the four categories below for help on next steps and where to follow up.

  1. Many visitors that have started their PPP request  with SBA.com® and completed their loan application through our partner have had their loan applications approved and accepted by a lender. Out partner should communicate to you first your PLP number and you should sign a note provided by your actual lender. Funding is supposed to occur within ten days,  but some lenders may delay funding beyond that ten day period.  Questions about the 10 day funding rule? Read more here. Also check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about PPP loans and our service.
  2. The following applies to you if you started your request with SBA.com® and submitted a complete PPP loan application through our partner, but have not received an email notifying you that your application has been accepted by a lender and that your funds have been reserved. This means that our partner has not been able to connect your loan application with a lender in their network. This may be because you are not eligible based on the information in your application, or because you have not submitted all of the necessary documentation with your application. We recommend you double check your application and application materials to ensure that you have provided all the necessary information and documentation. In order to do this, follow the instructions in the section below “Check The Status of Your SBA.com® PPP Loan Request.”. Please also review how to complete your PPP Loan Application.

  3. The following applies to you if you requested a PPP Loan through SBA.com® but you did not then submit and certify a fully complete loan application through our partner. This means that our partner was not able to submit your application to any lenders because they did not have a completed application for you. In order for our partner to be able to connect you with a PPP lender if  funds are still available, you will need to fully complete and certify your loan application with our partner. In order to do this, follow the instructions in the section below “Check The Status of Your SBA.com® PPP Loan Request.” Note that SBA.com® is not a lender, you do not have to use us or our partner to access PPP funds and there is no guarantee that you will receive a PPP loan.
  4. The following applies to you if you requested a PPP Loan with SBA.com® but you are not sure whether you submitted and certified a fully complete application with  our partner.
