Other attractions in the Samana, Las Galeras and Las Terrenas area, includes the fabulous beach at Playa Rincon, El Limon waterfalls, Caya Levantado (where the famous Bounty chocolate commercial was shot) and of course the annual whale watching season which runs normally starts around December 15th through to March 15th.
