A little jewel of a church with its golden spires and lovely icons and nave. I love going to lght a candle.
I've never seen a russian church before but this one is very beautiful.
It was a shame it was under renewal but still has some of its magic.
We were afraid we couldn't enter but we were lucky to go inside to see it and at the same time we saw a cerimony.
People inside are very strict when it comes to taking pics inside but with the permission of one of the people inside we manage to snap a few pics for the posterity
This church is very much worth the visit - north side of the old town. very well kept, small but very very worthwhile. continue on to the Bourg de Four square and then the cathedral afterwards

I found the Russian Church difficult to find as I was looking for the golden domes but they are currently covered in scaffolding and not actually visible. The atmosphere inside is very peaceful and with very quiet background music playing, it had a very tranquil and spiritual feel to it. This was my favourite of the several places of worship I visited. They request a CHF2 donation which doesn't seem excessive especially compared to what my local cathedral at home charges. Please be aware that uncovered shoulders and shorts are not permitted inside, and dress accordingly.
This beautiful small church is currently undergoing extensive renovation. It does not look like much from the outside, but the inside can still be visited (with a CHF2.- contribution) and religious services have not been interrupted. Geneva’s orthodox community is lucky to have an outstanding choir, and attending a Russian orthodox service is always an amazing experience for Christians of other obedience.
Very small and quaint with incredible interior. Very close to the Old town and the Museum of Art and History. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended!
