When Barbara Von Schlesien-Liegnitz was born in 1384, in Legnica, Wrocław, Poland, her father, Ruprecht I. von Liegnitz, was 37 and her mother, Hedwig von Sagan, was 11381. She married Rudolf III Duke of Saxe-Wittenberg on 6 March 1396, in Germany. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 9 May 1436, in Trebitz, Lebendorf, Bernburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, at the age of 52, and was buried in Wittenberg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
