Roseland Theatre

Roseland Theatre

This beautiful Art Moderne-style single-screen theater opened in 1941, as Tanner’s Roseland Theatre on Locust Street. It features a wonderful and colorful neon-lit marquee and rose-themed decor inside. The beautifully decorated interior is lighted to show off its artwork. It is worth the trip to view a new release on the widescreen.

The theater, a highlight of the city, still screens first-run movies on its large screen today.
