Mr. Ronald James "Ronnie" Ross, age 74, of Paducah, Kentucky, died on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Mr. Ross was born on May 11, 1948, in Murray, Kentucky to the late James Ross and Valta Harris Ross. He was the former operator and owner of Ross Insurance Agency in Murray, Kentucky and later retired from Ferry-Morse Seed Co. In addition, Mr. Ross was a 1966 graduate of Calloway County High School and later received his Bachelors of Business Degree from Murray State University. He was a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Zachary Ross; maternal grandparents, Rupert and Ruby Harris; as well as his paternal grandparents, Roy and Eula Ross. Survivors include one son, Ashley James Ross of Rutland, Vermont; one daughter-in-law, Amanda Ross of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Jackie Abbott and husband Bill of Murray, Kentucky and Poppy Jones and husband Eddie of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; one brother, Danny Ross and wife Denise of Paducah, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Owen Ross of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Grace Ross of Murray, Kentucky, Lilli Ross and Mae Ross both of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Jude Farley, Aiden Farley, and Jayda Farley-Ross all of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Online condolences can be made at, www.thejhchurchillfuneralhome.com
