Rickie Fowler and wife Allison Stokke reveal they’re expecting second child

Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns aren’t the only PGA Tour stars set to welcome bundles of joy soon.

Rickie Fowler and wife Allison Stokke are expecting their second child later this year, sharing the news Tuesday in an Instagram post from Augusta National, where he recently competed at the 2024 Masters.

“Maya with shoes ready for her baby sister…we’re excited to be a foursome later this summer!” Fowler captioned the post, which featured the couple’s 2-year-old toddler holding up a sneaker as she twinned with mom Stokke in a white caddie jumpsuit.

Fowler and Stokke, both 35, wed in 2019 and welcomed daughter Maya two years later.

Stokke and Maya supported Fowler at the Masters last week, with the trio participating in the annual Par 3 contest, where loved ones of players serve as caddies before the tournament begins.

He won the event with a five-under 22.

Fowler, making his first Masters appearance since 2020, then tied for 30th after finishing the weekend at 5-over par.

His best Masters finish was in 2018 when he placed second to Patrick Reed.

Fowler, who has struggled in recent years, is still in the hunt for his first major victory.

He enjoyed a career resurgence at the U.S. Open last June, getting off to a strong start — in which he and Xander Schauffele each shot an eight-under 62 in the opening round — before faltering down the stretch with Wyndham Clark taking the title.

Amid career challenges, Fowler has looked to Stokke, a former track and field athlete, for support.

“Going through this struggle for the last few years, and learning to open up and share more is not easy,” Fowler said on Season 2 of Netflix’s “Full Swing,” which premiered in March. “But for me, being able to get input or hear her side, it means something.”

Babies-to-be were quite the storyline at the Masters last week.

It was reported that Scheffler and Burns, whose wives are expecting this spring, would leave the tournament early if their spouses went into labor.

Scheffler’s wife Meredith, who is expecting the couple’s first child, watched from home as the current world No. 1 captured his second Masters win in three years on Sunday.

Moments after slipping on his second green jacket, Scheffler delivered a message to Meredith in a post-tournament interview.

“I’ll be home as quick as I can,” he said, according to Golf.com. “I love you and I’m coming home.”
