Have loved The Thing since I was a kid. Grew up with it through the 80s and 90s. Have owned it on pretty much every media since VHS (including Laserdisc). Have seen it at least two dozen times in my life if not way more. But until I showed it to my 14 year old for the first time tonight in the new 4K HDR remaster sitting way too close to a 70” TV, I had never, ever noticed that Doc Copper was wearing a tiny little nose ring. Simply awesome.
