Went to the Rembrandt exhibit which was very good. Then went to the Egyptian hall, which was extensive and informative. We didn’t have time for much more but this is a great museum. The new addition is very modern and lends itself to photos.

They accepted my membership from a museum in another city. Good exhibit of nature and animals. Very kid friendly.

A marvellous venue of Art and Cultures of various regions of the world. A very in depth and knowledgeable experience awaits one. The venue itself combines the experiences of past and present. One day is not enough to go through all the beautiful treasures this place has to offer.

The Museum had great exhibits. The entire second floor my son loved. He's 8 and loves dinosaurs and animals. There is also an interactive area on this floor. We spent most of our time on floor 2.
Floor 1 and 3 have great exhibits for adults. My son did not enjoy any of it. He got very cranky. I would not recommend trying to visit these floors with children.

Having been born and raised in Toronto, I have always loved the collections of the ROM. Although some of collections are getting stale over the decades, the renovations of the late 2000s have really spiced up the overall facility as an attraction and improved some dates collections, such as the dinosaurs. However, the medieval, Greek, Egyptian and other collections do not seem to have grown significantly over the years. The Chinese collection is massive. Roman collection is weak. Current focus is on families and there are several activities to attract young children.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. The ROM is one of the largest museums in Canada with diverse exhibits on ancient civilization and natural history.

Our collection is constantly growing and rotating, for example opening 2021 is our Dawn of Life Gallery, which will be home to the ROM’s world-renowned collection of Burgess Shale specimens.

We hope you will return to the ROM in the near future to explore these new collections.

All the best,
Chad
