We Came hear for a celebration and we were not disappointed! Sitting at the Chefs table was great! We were at a bench table looking right into the kitchen. All the staff was very knowledgeable. Chef spoke with us while delivering food, it was very...cool. As for the food, Amazing! We did an 11 course tasting menu ($85 per person). Left extremely full and happy! Not all the items on the tasting menu were for just that, a few items were on the regular menu as well. Some things were served family style and some were individual (I don’t think I could have finished if it was all individually plated.) I’d tell you what we had but just go experience it for yourself. It’s worth it. We will without a doubt be back as we have told about a million people how great of a night we had! Thanks again! Oh and pictures, there is none, good food deserves to be eaten not photographed.More

The kitchen was on fine form for our Friday evening dinner, the service was attentive but not intrusive, the ambience was relaxed and the price was right for a downtown resto in Toronto. The menu is not huge but creative, and the execution is first-class....We sat upstairs close to the chef's table, so it was fun to see the kitchen in action and all our choices impressed (the Tamworth pork meatballs were amazing). Short but solid selection of wines by the glass too. We enjoyed our meal, had fun and we'll be back.More

My salad with smoked trout appetizer and duck entree was absolutely delicious. Service was very good and inviting. As a solo diner I had to sit at a communal dining table which was fine but would have preferred a seat the bar which they only...have a service bar. I would stay away from premium cocktails since my bourbon on the rocks was awful (two sips and done). So stay with beer and wine. Overall this is a lovely restaurant with delicious food and friendly service.More

I was really excited to go to this restaurant based on the reviews but with the exception of one, our group of five was extremely dissapointed with everything. I understand the prices include tips now but the quality of food was not good for those...prices. Extremely small portions for appetizers and none of it tasted ok. We ordered one of each item. For the mains the lamb gnocchi had no lamb my friend found a crumb but it was all gnocchi. Scallops were small and was just sitting in a soup with some cauliflower and for $37 you would expect better the menu describes a nice dish and cones out as something else. Seems like the dessert was the only good tasting item . I guess they changed their menu as it’s very limited. Also a side comes with a burger many times I’m confused as to why they would feel it’s ok to charge $8 for fries??? My husband asked for a vodka 7 and they don’t serve 7up or sprite??? But serve vodka which the waiter said oh we have coke or ginger ale if you want... it was dark and cold inside not welcoming and cozy. I won’t recommend this place especially when your bill is $500 and you leave u satisfied and still hungry.More

Given that this is a ‘Top 10’ in Toronto I had high hopes and the food did not disappoint. The Ricotta shareable is amazing as is the Beet Salad. Black cod is a favourite of mine and for once it was not done wth miso...and it was delicious... crispy and melt in your mouth! The interior and overall vibe was ‘simple’. Like most of the downtown top rated restaurants, it is pricey but the place was packed and reservations can be difficult to get.More

I took a group of 12 for dinner in their semi-private dining area the "pantry". The prix fixe group menu had so many lovely options. I received a compliment from every participant on how wonderful the food was. The servers and kitchen also took excellent...care of those with special dietary needs, offering great alternatives or altering dishes to meet their needs, and plating their "shared" appetizers separately so there were no fears for allergy sufferers. The only complaint I heard was that participants wished they'd saved more room for their dessert.More

Great service as many have stated. My girlfriend and I sat at the chef bar and very much enjoyed our Sunday lunch. I gave 4 bs 5 stars for 2 reasons. First the pricing is quite high for what you get. Certainly as a high...end restaurant I would expect higher pricing....but for the charcuterie in particular, I have trouble justifying the small quantity served (like a few slices of each of the 3 meats)....and we added cheese with this and there were only 3 small squares. All the meat and cheeses were excellent, just very small amounts. The other concern was no one advised about the daily special, and I saw this on a wallboard after I had ordered. Too bad as I would have likely ordered the special.....More

Richmond Station looks like just another higher end restaurant in Toronto... but the attention by serving staff and it's Som, make you feel like you're the only customer in a small town restaurant. It's comforting with its large meal portions and the warm feeling that...you realize you have after having the reasonably priced 3 course meal (imagine getting 8 ravioli vs 4 filled fully with beef?)with the wine pairing (explained kindly by the Som and the server) despite how busy the restaurant is (full) AND there are 9 of you but you feel like you're the only one there?! I will never forget this meal...This is a must for everyone in Toronto.More

Although a vegetarian I could appreciate the quality of meat offered to our group. The vegetarian options offered to me were of equal quality, as imaginative as I've had and produced a degree of envy even amongst the very satisfied carnivores. We went back three...nights later. Superb.More

This is the 1st time I’ve ordered from Richmond Station and the meal was great! I have a very picky eater and ordered her the junior burger with only cheese and bacon and she ate the entire burger and also said it was the best...one she ever had. The staff were great and during this pandemic all precautions were taken. Highly recommend takeout until they can open again.More

Our daughter booked her wedding dinner at Richmond Station and the event went exceptionally well. The staff hosted our group of 20 double-vaccinated guests attentively and efficiently. They know the food and drink options well and gave helpful, accurate advice when asked. Considering the quality...of the food and service the price was quite reasonable when compared with competing facilities. Richmond Station will be our first choice for special occasions from now on, including anniversary dinners.More

Look, I know this is the time of Covid, but there is simply no excuse for waiting 90 minutes for an appetizer and a drink. Our server was indifferent to our questions or needs and disappeared for long periods with no explanation. Our entire meal...took nearly 3 hours. The gratuity was Included, to add insult to injury. The food was not that great in light of the reviews this restaurant receives. We complained to the server and to the owner, who offered to make it up to us with another meal, but we’re from the U. S. The service issue may have been specific to our server and you may have a different experience.More

So been before with group. Now went as couple. Not for drinkers as cheapest red with tax and tip nears 100 and goes up from there. We like 2 bottles so 200 for so so wine that is 30 dollars at LCBO. Then they treat...you like a number and are i obviously eager to get you out asap. Servers are friendly but mechanical. Cannot blame them for way to high prices. Food is ok not great but ok but the place is so noisy you need tranquilizers Once you leave. The noise level is unbearable. The food seems pre cooked especially the appetizers. Lastly they then give you a machine that asks for 18: 20 or 22 per cent tip on the inflated bill. Never again . This place is for posers who like noise and high wine prices for mediocre wine.More

What a delicious treat. The team at Richmond Station outdid themselves. Not only did they put wonderful flavours together for this special Thanksgiving dinner they put a lot of thought and work into the packaging as well as the reheating and serving instructions. It's the...first time I have truly had a restraunt experience at home and from a takeout meal (and I have done a few from "fine" restaraunts). With any luck Richmond Station will consider doing these special "feasts" on a more regular basis. I know I will be first in line to order.More

We had an early dinner at Richmond Station prior to a concert in December 2019. This casual restaurant is located in downtown Toronto, not far from the Eaton Centre and just off Yonge Śtrret. It has two rooms; we were seated in the front room...which appeared to be the more subdued of the two. We began with an interesting three-item in-house charcuterie board and then shared a tasty burger and flavourful black cod main courses, accompanied by two local beers. Overall, the food and service (provided by Andrew) were very good, although the prices seemed a bit high. We hope to try Richmond Station for lunch in the near future.More
