Booked a table for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were not friendly and made no mention of our anniversary. The food is expensive and pretty similar to other meals we experienced during our trip, however their prices were alot higher. They charged 8 euro for a bread basket and overcharged us when our bill arrived. Trying to charge 12 euro for a drink of juice when the menu showed 8 Euro's.Overall the experience was poor . Yes ,the restaurant has lovely lemon trees(other restaurants also have lemon trees) to sit under but they really need to improve their customer service and prices! They made no effort for our special occasion, I won't be returning.

Great food.. Excellent Service.
Different flavors and fusions in the dishes made it interesting.
The setting of the place was also unique.

The best known restaurant in Capri. Having dinner under lemon trees. Their have a very extends menu and also a very good wine list. We all had pasta and sat on the same table that Jennifer Lopez seat every year went she goes to Capri for holidays in the summer

This lemon grove oasis in Capri is a show-stopper for sure when visiting the island. Recommended by our island friend, Vincenzo we just had to give it a try. The ambience and setting are idyllic for Capri as you sit amongst the olive trees on candle-lit tables.
We happened to walk by before service started and the training for the evening was taking place. I love seeing that. The staff was attentive, polite and professional.
As other reviewers have said, the dessert bar is a real treat. Be aware that there is a charge per plate so if you over-stuff your dessert plate with the choices it might be a hefty add-on. It's o.k. it is worth it. I tried the tiramisu and Torta Caprese (named for the island) We also enjoyed lemon ravioli too and bufalo mozzarella appetizers.
Capri is an expensive island to visit so don't be surprised at your bill, it's an island and many food items have to travel. It is definitely worth it here. We didn't see any celebrities but enjoyed watching others snap as many pictures as they could.
I would also recommend dressing up a little bit, casual shorts and beach attire did not seem to be anywhere we looked.

Very average and extremely overpriced. Lovely setting but all the food came out Luke warm and was average. We had a better meal for a third of the price in most other restaurants.

Restaurant is good always full during the weekend make sure to reserve a table before you go as the waiting time is high food is super and nice ambience full of lemon trees

For a mozzarella appetizer, a fish pasta, a bottle of regular wine, a bottle of water and a dessert, it is not possible to spend 100 euros per person.

The lemon trees atmosphere was magical. The food, as expected based on reviews, was average. Shrimps are not worth the price so could be avoided. Calamaries were fine.
The restaurant is still going to draw visitors and it is an unique experience. What your expectations are and how you handle this is up to each individual.

This restaurant was awful across the board. Quality of food, service, cost, friendliness of staff - it is 100% a tourist trap. The atmosphere is the best thing it has going for it. I would avoid at all costs.

Paolino on Capri:
One of the best garden restaurants:
had three different excellent pastas (always one portion to share, served one after the other, good wine (just € 40) and losts of lemons above. Not over-priced.
Interesting people. Relaxed. Good service.
A must visit on Capri.
Taxi € 25 from town- 8 minutes.

This spot has great ambience, food just Ok, but the service is nonexistent! Almost frustrating to see staff running around like a bunch of field hens!!! No help on menu, awkward presentations, courses delivered with significant delays… no follow up by wait staff for drinks, food satisfaction, … honestly felt like we were forgotten about… after a 20 minute wait for the check I finally went to the hostess to pay…,honestly.. this place tends towards “ a popular rip off” in terms of its price point, service and food quality

Da Paulino is truly special. We loved every minute in their beautiful lemon grove. The service was friendly and attentive. The space is gorgeous! And, most importantly, the food was spectacular. We enjoyed a selection of appetizers including the grilled moz on a lemon leaf, zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, eggplant parm, and bruschetta. As my main entree, I enjoyed the caprese ravioli in lemon sauce! So refreshingly delicious. Then, we discovered the "temptation room," which was a room dedicated to a large buffet of desserts to choose from and devour. I couldn't imagine a more perfect night! (they will even call a taxi for you at the end of the night).

Heard great things about this place and the ambience was great but a complete rip off. The prices they charge for the drinks is obnoxious. 40 euro for a Don Julio reposado that I paid 25 euro for the night before at a different, but yet very fine, restaurant. The tuna appetizer for 65 euro was good but nowhere near worth the price. By far the most expensive meal I have had in Italy and probably the lowest quality meal at the same time. Good but I have to imagine we could have had just as good a meal, if not better at other places and paid a fraction of the price. I think this restaurant needs to take a step back and figure out what it wants to be.

I had really looked forward to this dinner. Unfortunately it was not all what it is made up to be. The atmosphere is wonderful but that is about it. The service was terrible since all waiters were so stressed due to the amount of tables. The risotto was undercooked and as if that was not it- I GOT FOOD POISONING during the night. I have called multiple times and messaged them to request a refund but they clicked my call both times. Even if the prices would have been average it would not be worth it. Just don’t go here.
