Well I tried this product and used it for three weeks faithfully. It wasn’t for me. This had apple cider vinegar which was an issue for my skin. The smell was not what I like but it’s apple cider vinegar. I have tried to make this formula in my younger days and it didn’t work out for me .
I expected this to smell strongly of rosemary, but all it smells of is vinegar. I do use it thinned with water as a hair rinse, but it's not what I wanted.
Queen of Hungary Water is a beautiful, ancient recipe that should never contain a vinegar smell. It should be made of distilled rosemary, citrus peel, orange blossom water, or rosewater. WTF is vinegar doing in there, I ask you. This is a precious recipe that should be preserved, in both the historical sense, and the physical sense, which is to say it should not be allowed to rot or to contain vinegar.
