- helenandpaul13Worcester, UK1,660 contributionsWent here for the light show. You need to book in advance and take the metro there. As you walk out of the station you turn right and go up the hill. The Dome is then in front of you. Everyone sits in a pew and the show takes place all around you but you are not allowed to photograph it. The show is about half an hour long, but although mum wanted to see it me and the little one were not impressedWritten April 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Miles B1 contributionWas in the city for 3 full days. There are lots to do. There are museums, lots of restaurants, walking areas, and etc. I would recommend plan ahead so you do not go into this trip blind and not knowing what to do.Written April 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ted M1 contributionThis write-up is very inaccurate, the Gardens are nowhere near the the little Italy neighborhood or the jean Talon marker, both are 45mins away via metro (train). Might as well say the Gardens are close to downtown lol .Written April 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TERRAvelistaLondon, UK17,562 contributionsA great place to relax in the sun or in the shade with great views over the water and the Lower town. You can take the funicular from here (right near the statue, located in the glass house) to reach the Lower town, or you can wall all the way to the Citadel (the entrance is on the opposite site though, if you want to visit it). Lots of information about the origins of the terrace and several musicians to entertain you.
A very romantic place, if you like history and it reminds me of so many historic European cities.
To one side, there are several hotels, some older than others, with probably bird eye view over this whole location.Written October 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Parc Omega was absolutely the highlight of our trip. We stayed in a wolf chalet. One does not need to stay overnight to enjoy the drive through safari. Bring lots of carrots these animals have a bottomless pit. And be ready to laugh your way through.
About the chalet. The layout is duplex style. The walls are thin, we could occasionally hear muffled voices. There’s a pack of 5 wolves. A suggestion to the Parc: a photo with name and age of each pack member would be helpful. We stayed in unit 3, a 2 bedroom, 2 story, nicely furnished unit. Housekeeping could do a better job. Our floor was filthy, not just dirt, but I found clumps of the previous guest’s hair weave. We went into town to buy windex because the floor to ceiling windows were smudged with hand prints. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare whatever meal you’d like. The floors are heated throughout the downstairs, we didn’t see controls for upstairs, so we’re guessing they are not. One bedroom has a balcony. There’s a wood burning stove. Outside has a fire pit and chairs. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend.
We ate in the restaurant and coffee shop, purchased in the gift shop, as well as, ate in town and made 2 trips to the grocery store.Written March 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Multiple floors spread across several buildings all accessible through connecting walk ways.Written April 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tahliastravelsBrisbane, Australia160 contributionsBeautiful views during the winter, so snowy and gorgeous. We loved this spot. We didn’t go into the museum but did just walk around the areas that we could and it was spectacular. Definitely worth a stop by if you’re in the area. I wish we had’ve had the opportunity to go into it to see more.Written March 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Larry10803Pelham, NY200 contributionsLoved this market! So many options for fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared food, desserts, even flowers! Open air but covered market with a great variety of vendors. Underground and inexpensive parking is available. Also close to the Italian section if so inclined. Highly recommend!! If you enjoy going to markets do not miss this one.Written February 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
