The House of Grimaldi has always been known for its style and elegance, linked to the great fashion designers of Europe, and remembered for trailblazing when it comes to their beauty choices, too (case in point: the punk princess, Princess Charlene, with her undercut). The 64-year-old mother of four was accompanying her younger brother, Prince Albert of Monaco, to the soirée, as his wife Princess Charlene continues to recover from an infection while visiting her native South Africa. She wore a glamorous brown tiered gown with cap sleeves and sequin details, with her elegant grey bob tucked behind her ears. She accessorised with pearl earrings, a chunky bangle bracelet and coordinating clutch bag. She first debuted her no-longer-brunette hair in December at Monaco’s National Day, showing it off with a sweet Alice band.

Princess Caroline, who is estranged from her third husband, Prince Ernst-August of Hanover, has long been considered a style icon. She befriended the designer Karl Lagerfeld in the 1970s, becoming a muse for Chanel and a regular on the front row at shows. Her daughters, Charlotte Casiraghi and Princess Alexandra of Hanover, have inherited their mother's exquisite taste, with the former being an ambassador for Chanel and the latter for Dior.

Also in attendance at the concert this weekend were Caroline's three glamorous children and their partners; Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo, Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo, and Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassam.
