I loved being able to walk across the bridge! There were so many great views of Prague, and the bridge was full of local artists and musicians showcasing their work. They are in the process of revitalizing the statues, which was incredible to see when comparing the older ones to the newer ones. Like the rest of the city, my only regret was not being able to spend more time exploring! If I am ever able to return to Prague, I plan to return ❤️

The view of the river and city from the bridge is amazing, but too many small shops make it a little crowded, street musicians add to the charm, but these small shops selling souvenirs just occupy space. Maybe they should reduce the numbers or not allow them in the centre part of the bridge. I know they are trying to make a living but the bridge isn't that wide.

This city is so cool! Awesome vibe here. Cool hangouts/pubs/bars, great food, and the people are awesome! Everyone here seems to be cheerful and that is something I don’t usually find in such a touristy place. Charles Bridge is iconic and has so much to see and photograph. Lots and lots of history, and so we’ll maintained. You can’t help but love this place!

One of the must-see Prague landmarks with incredible gothic architecture and amazing statues lining the wide, pedestrian-only bridge. Be ready for crowds though as this is a very popular spot. The bridge leads to Prague's beautiful Lesser City with lots of small shops and traders. You can climb the towers and get a great view of the bridge and surround too.

Very beautiful bridge, connecting old town with new town. The gates at the entrance are decorated beautifully and on both sides of the bridge there are statues. On the bridge you can find a lot of street artists and small markets. Unfortunately the bridge is often very crowded and it takes you a long time to get to the other side. Would recommend to go there early in the morning or late in the evening. Definitely a sight you should not miss in Prague!

So beautiful and unique. You can take amazing pictures, although It's always very crowded. We preferred to visit this place during the night, as it seems even more beautiful illuminated.

One of the best places for pictures in Prague bit please do it justice nas read about it before you go because this is one of the most important landmarks of Prague. Also, if you are going to ask for a wish from St John, do do with your left hand and DO NOT touch the dog as it is suppose to give bad luck! Enjoy it. Like the old town square, this is a bit of a “must visit” when in Prague. Read up on the history of the bridge a little bit before going to walk over it and you’ll understand a bit more of it’s significance. Not too many days of the year when it is not packed full of tourists, but it is still worth a crossing. Nice to see the artists and other local hands selling their wares here still. I crossed this bridge first time back in 2008 and it’s still got it! Be sure to stop and take in the views of the gates and the river as it is easy to get swept up in the wandering crowds.

The view from these bridge are awesome 🤩 I have only problem with the street lights. They are not so well places and not add beauty to the bridge. You can feel the fresh air and see both the sides of the city. There are many old structures and good shops where you can enjoy shopping

A beautiful pedestrian bridge that deserves it's reputation. Good for sunsets, bad for midnight as the lights go off, best for mornings before the crowds gather. And there's almost always a crowd. A bit too expensive a visit to the towers in my views but I understand - there's enough people to pay the price, so why not. The view is worth it I guess. The short movie you can see in the basement is totally not worth it and a waste of time, unless you're there with kids.

Obviously a must see! We just visited (Beginning of December) and didn't think it would get too packed but it does! Comes early or late to take it all in (or both). Great views of the castle, the Petrin and several other sites. Highly recommend spending the extra to go up the tower (note you need to specify to get tickets for both Charles Bridge and lesser town tower).

The most stunning bridge I've ever seen, in plus that it can be only used by pedestrians. Beautifully enlightened in the night. Recommend going there in the winter when there are less tourist, because in the summer it is very crowded. On the bridge you can pass by many artists.

Initially I thought that going to the Charles Bridge would just be another old bridge, packed with lots of tourists. I ended up going back to the bridge four times, each time I went back I had new and interesting experiences. Go early in the morning if you want "people free" pictures. The performers on the bridge are entertaining. The bridge is also a nice spot to just hang out and visit with people.

Beautiful place. If you want photos without crowds , visit early in the morning. We went during afternoon hours , the weather was clear..hence the photos came amazing. There is an old ice cream shop at the end of the bridge. Enjoy an ice cream cone while walking the bridge.

This bridge is definitely worth a visit. The bridge is only for pedestrians and the bridge connects 2 exciting districts to each other. If you visit Prague, this bridge is a must-see. Certainly a historic spot to visit in the city. We couldn’t be more enthralled with the architecture of the bridge and the surrounding region. The old town leading to the bridge is pretty majestic lined with some rare arts.

Charles Bridge in Prague was a great spot to visit. We visited it in the winter and was completely covered in snow and it was pretty crowded all the time we sadly musicians but there was singers performing and painters making quick art. We really liked it.

Absolutely beautiful and a must walk-visit when in Prague. Even if it’s very crowded, it’s really worthy. Eventually, you can go at non-touristic hours and it would be better! The view in both sides of the bridge, is really stunning. There are also few artists selling their art on there. It’s a great way to support local artists and to get a nice memory of the trip! We got some very nice postals/paintings on there, and it was possible to pay by card. Wouldn’t get bored to pass by the bride once and again!

The bridge has different look at night and daytime. There's a lot of baroque statues lining up left and right of Charles Bridge. Many people walking along the bridge and there's also sellers selling souvenirs and artworks. Under the bridge is the Vltava River. On the other side of the bridge is the city's Old Town and on the opposite side is Prague Castle.

Iconic medieval arche bridge built to connect between the Prague old town and the Prague castle with 16 arches. Phenomenal views from each side of the bridge and a nice spot to take some scenic pictures. Definitely the must see place when you visit Prague.

Beautiful and the history is great but it is filled with tourists which makes it difficult to enjoy fully and take nice pictures. Best would be to go very early morning and beat the crowds. Evenings are also extremely busy in Prague. We also went to Legion bridge instead and took pictures of Charles Bridge as it gives you a beautiful view which is not as crowded

This cathedral is breathtaking. Situated on top of a hill, you need to put some effort to arrive here but it is totally worth. Impressive from outside and inside , you can take some time to admire its beauty from the benches inside the yard behind it. In case you want to get in, you can do it for free, but only in a limited area. A ticket is required if you want to explore it all.

What an amazing cathedral! The view from up the hill over the city of Prague is superb! The cathedral is well maintained and the offer of tours is more then plenty. The inside of the cathedral looks amazing! I absolutely love these structures. To bad you can not walk around the whole sub level of the cathedral without buying an extra ticket for that. The square next to the cathedral, offers some nice spots to take a rest and enjoy the ambiance of the place. Definitely worth the walk up there from the old town city center.

Impressive. The scale of the cathedral is daunting (makes you feel tiny) and the stained glasses are very colorful and lovely. Make sure to get the combo ticket (that includes objective "VIII" - the cathedral) in order to be able to get in all the way back and not just at the entrance. It is wonderfully decorated in the back. Also, get the tower ticket (entrance to objective "X" - cathedral tower) to climb the 278 steps up in a dizzying spiral staircase (with no pit stop and used for both climbing up and down the same way). It sounds horror, but you eventually make it and it's definitely worth it. The view from up the tower is a worthy reward.

Beautiful cathedral with some of the most intricate art I’ve seen. The stained glass paintings and suspended statues in the church are incredible. The gothic architecture is worth seeing. The grounds of the palace open at 6am but you can only enter the cathedral starting at 9am. I’d recommend going early to beat the crowds. There are bathrooms here but you need coins to use them. There is a machine near the ticket counter that lets you exchange notes for coins.

This is probably the most beautiful cathedral in Prague. Everything is built with precision and preserved so well that it still looks stunning inside and out. I especially loved the painted glass windows cause they shine wonderfully under sunlight. Definitely recommend to pay a visit.

Surely one of the best Cathedrals I've ever seen. Immense, impressive, huge. The Gothic style that characterizes the building is truly amazing and the interiors are even better. Loved the rose windows and the pinnacles. Take your time to properly visit the Cathedral in all its entirety because it's really worthwhile.

The most beautiful place in Prague. The Cathedral is the first thing you see when you visit the Prague Castle. Make sure you buy tickets online. They have the tickets at visitor centre but you can skip the wait if booked online. Most of the places to visit are covered in that ticket. A must must visit when in Prague. It’s a fascinating Renaissance- Baroque Architecture marvel.!

Breathtaking stained glass that makes the room colorful. Beautiful tombs to some of the worlds most famous and prosperous religious figures and saints, decorated with silver and gold. HOWEVER, there is very little information to be read about the attractions within. There is a paragraph of information for every 3-5 attractions which leaves you wondering about the significance behind a lot. Even without a ticket you can roam around the entrance of the church, but won’t have access to around 70% of it, which mostly includes the main attractions within the church itself. Make sure to get the family pass if you can for your group, as you will save good money. Don’t purchase the ticket entrance just to go visit the church, as it is a relatively high ask and not worth it on its own, instead use it to gain entrance into the other attractions nearby. Please feel free to look at the images I attached! I hope you enjoy!

The Cathedral sits in the centre of the Castle complex and is visible from all around the area. Very beautiful outside and inside. You can enter the cathedral for free, but there is a large area accessible only by ticket. There is a separate ticket for entry to the cathedral tower. Both are worth visiting. From the tower you can have a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Keep in mind to reach the top of the tower you need to go up 287 steps. It can be a bit claustrophobic.

It's an incredibly beautiful building. You can feel the energy inside, it's true there are a lot of tourists. The vintage windows give a beautiful light inside, although half of this building is fake as most of it has been destroyed. I advise you to definitely visit.

Amazing and unique place. The building itself is amazing in terms of style and architecture and the acoustic is incredible. If you get the chance i recommend going inside when the choir sings. It is an amazing experience and would definetlly be a must if you visit Prague

You will open your mouth astonished from the cathedral. It is huge and sophisticated. The art on the glass is really breathtaking. We all enjoyed the journey and I do recommend getting tickets for the inner part not to visit the free yard only.

Well worth the 287 steps to the top. It’s a spiral stone stair case and it’s both up and down - go early if you don’t want to be passing people up and down! The view is STUNNING.

Truly a “can’t miss” sight in Prague; the steps up to the tower are not too steep, few resting places, though. The view from the tower is completely worth it, and it is fairly spacious. Benches on the top inside, next to the clock mechanism. Separate charge to climb up.

A magnificent historical landmark, the cathedral and its surroundings need 3-4 hours to explore fully. We observed guard change ceremonies, purchased souvenirs, and found numerous cafes and restaurants for brunch. While entry to the cathedral grounds is free, accessing the interior requires a ticket. Due to the lengthy queue, exceeding 30 minutes, we opted to forego entry. Nonetheless, the premises were impeccably clean, ideal for capturing memorable photographs.

Absolutely worth the lines and ticket cost to get inside for self guided tour. They had a ticket that got you access to 5 different cites and a map to guide you. The cathedral had the most breathtaking stained glass I’ve ever seen. You must go inside and see it all. Stunning. The audio tour devices were sold out for the day so go early if you’d like to do that. You buy tickets just across the square from the front doors.

the cathedral located in the courtyard of the citadel of prague, can only be visited with a ticket, it is included in the basic ticket which includes part of the castle, golden street and the cathedral. it is spectacular in size and details and full of stories about emperors, kings, coronations, saints. it can be seen from any corner of Prague and sits on the hill of the fortress looking over the city. I recommend visiting it both outside and inside.

The queue to get into the Cathedral is huge but don't let that put you off as it moves very quickly. Inside it is fascinating and educational, this was an enjoyable way to spend half an hour or so. At the side of the Cathedral is another entrance where you pay to go to the top of the lookout tower which for me was the best.

Beautiful church inside the castle grounds. Need about 1.5hr to 3hrs depending on your speed. Ticket are bought at information booth. Nice place to wander around outside if you don't want to go inside. Lovely park ground and architecture. Worth visiting twice if your feet feeling okay.

An incredible place with incredible buildings and less likely views of the city. A must visit this place, a place of strength. Very beautiful, very diverse. Advice, do not go up by car, small streets, very difficult to separate, better to walk. Especially when you go up and down each building will be very beautiful and unique.

Prague Castle is definitely a place to go if you are visiting Prague. There is so much interesting history and the architecture is magnificent. I’d recommend going to the visitors point and getting an audio guide as you walk around, as this makes the experience much more extensive. Entrance to the castle was free, which is great. There were various exhibitions on, such as a picture gallery, which you could visit with a cost. There was a nice cafe in the castle gardens to have a refreshing drink.

The entrance to the castle and parks are free. We got tickets to enter 5 buildings. Experience was very nice. My favorite part was Artistic Street, where artists sell handmade things. The medieval room upstairs was amazing. Great experience

Lovely climb up the main road side with shops and cafes on a cobbled street. Very busy at the top but lots of space to move around. Great photo opportunities of the castle and the view out over the city.

Definitely worth a walk up a hill 😊. Another one of those place that is much better out of the season of early in the day to avoid crowds. Exceptional architectural marvel the provides a “ old world “ almost fairytale like feel to the place . Also very nice view points, worth exploring, around the castle overlooking the city of Prague. Only downsides are that you have to pay extra to gain access to some parts of the complex.

The church inside the castle is really amazing. Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes and try to avoid the busy time. We went there around lunch time, a lot of tourist groups and the restaurant is a little bit full as well. It will be better to come later, so you can enjoy a nice sunset view while having a nice coffee on the rooftop.

A very large castle complex comprises multiple towers and buildings. Great way to spend an entire day learning about the history of the city. If you climb the tall South Tower, you will arrive at probably the best observation deck in Prague. There was also a building that serves as a museum. Don’t forget to take a stroll down the Golden Lane before leaving!

Prague Castle is located on a tall hill and has a view of the city below. It's like its own small town. I took many pictures here, and when I showed them to my friends, they thought the pictures didn't look like they were taken in real life. People are going to claim that it is edited. The most important advice I can give about anything related to Prague Castle is to plan to spend two separate half days there. I am saying this because there will be a lot of people in the mornings, but you can use your tickets for two days. If you go in the afternoon, you can visit three or four places before they close. You can come back the next day to finish your tour. That is the most optimal way to visit this attraction. The area is very spacious, and there are buildings all around. You may not be able to enter all of them, but the ones that are open and listed on your ticket are worth visiting. Definitely worth checking out and definitely worth the effort to go up.

This place is unreal!!!!! It is hard to believe that places like this still exist. This whole city is actually unreal. This is definitely a place that everyone (if you have a chance) should visit at least once in their life time. There are so many places to see and to visit within the city. In the castle make sure that you visit the gardens as well. If you want an even better experience, go there late at night when there is barely anyone there and the lights make it turn into a n even more magical place.

Most of the palace is actually a free to walk around area. You need to pay if you want to visit the museum parts or a small street, or the toilet. The signs are very distinguishable so you need not worry. The front yard of the castle has a narrow garden with a great view towards Charles Bridge. Exploring the small streets to get to the castle was in my opinion just as nice, so take your time and walk around.

Historic castle complex also housing the St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague castle is a must-see I’d recommend taking a bus / transport up to the entrance as the hill it’s situated on can be a steep climb. While it’s a large complex with different museums / buildings to explore - I’d recommend walking the courtyards and visit guess interior of St. Vitus cathedral as the highlights

Stunning location with views over the city. The castle holds a beautiful cathedral in the courtyard. You have to get tickets to go into the cathedral and other parts of the castle and the queue was long so I didn't go in. Book tickets in advance if you want to see it all.

You simply must walk here through the palace gardens beginning almost a kilometer east of the palace, poised high above the city and the river. The views through the majestic trees and in and amongst the flowers, particularly in springtime, are simply regal. I have yet to sample the splendors of the interior of the castle itself but am already enchanted by what I’ve experienced on my first two visits to and through the outer walls and buildings of the castle.

Beautiful ancient castle with great architecture. You can hire a local guide if you are interested to know about the historical background. Also, there are many free tour guides in Prague whom you can book online. The Prague Castle circuit ticket also allows you to visit the Charles Bridge Museum free of charge. However, All visitors are not allowed to bring large baggage and there is a security checkpoint at the entrance.

Absolutely amazing venue. Superior views across Prague. I was very impressed with the food service. I was lucky enough to be invited to a special dinner. I was particularly impressed that the staff were so attentive that before my drink had finished I was presented with a drink and they remembered what I was drinking. Absolutely phenomenal. The main lady running the service was a pleasure speaking with and clearly understood how to make guests feel special. Very impressive, it's rare that I am blown away. The venue is fantastic, the balcony for drinks reception is amazing. The food was truly amazing, and the service was spectacular.

The castle looks spectacular from outside, but ordinary in the inside, we are not impressed too much. The tower offers bird eye view of Prague, but climb 275 steps pose a challenge we conquered. To summarize, after several days in Prague, we found most of the churches inside looks much the same, so we recommend you choose the free ones such as church of our lady before Tyn, for the others, we really don’t think buy the ticket is a must, take a picture from outside and visit public areas will do.

I loved Prague Castle. It is so ancient, with so much history and it has been maintained in excellent shape. It is the highlight of Prague and one of the best castles I have ever been to. Take a taxi or transit to start at the west end of the castle and then walk downwards towards downtown. Much easier.

The castle looks impressive from down below. To get up you have to climb a lot of stairs! Not recommend if it’s a hot summer day. At the top you find a overprices starbucks and the museum shop. There is no way to fill up your water bottle as there is no fountain This was really disappointing. But the castle is beautiful. The tickets are fairly prices considering you can visit different buildings. The view from the top is also great.

A lovely place to visit. The road to the place itself is beautiful and full of amazing scenery while you go up. Make sure to get comfy as there are a lot of stairs until you reach the cathedral itself. As you go up, you have food and drinks option all around , as well as old town part right nearby(5 min walk). The place is very crowded so make sure to follow rush hours and visit when its most suitable for you. Make sure not to miss this one!

Spectacular and well worth the walk over the river and up the hill. Such an incredible and rich history - and apparently the largest ancient castle in the world. As an added bonus, access to most things was free when we visited on Christmas Eve.

Cool place. You have to buy the general ticket to see inside of the churches and also the golden lane. We didn’t do that because I guess other than golden lane, the exterior of the buildings is more interesting than the interior. Also every hour you can see the soldiers doing their changing ceremony in one of the gates that opens up to the square. Overall it was worth going.

Definitely worth a walk all the way and visiting the Castle grounds and gardens. Whether buying a ticket to enter the various rooms and halls/museums is worth it or not, will leave the decision to you. The St Vitus cathedral definitely worth seeing.

Easy to get to by tram Prague Castle is a prime tourist hotspot. As such I feel it is quite expensive for the customer experience compared to other venues. The buildings and interiors themselves are impressive. However the information boards were extremely wordy and difficult to read as they were black text on transparent perspex. I feel customer engagement could have been better. Having said that there’s a lot to look at and appreciate.

Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy history, as the Palace and Cathedrals and surrounding areas are oozing history. Entrance to the grounds are free but you have choice of two tickets, it's a pity that all eight ticketed areas are not on one ticket. Loved the crossbow firing in the old terraced street area.

A magnificent palace in the city. Beautiful architecture and really grand spaces where you can take good photos. The garden has a great view of the city. Unfortunately, it is so crowded you get squeezed and have to queue everywhere. Full of tourists groups ruthlessly cramming for a picture and you just won’t feel at peace here. It’s good enough to view it from the outside, unless you are dying to learn more about this space.

We enjoyed the tour. But I think that would have been nice to have a guide. A little expensive just for going up the tower. But the place is really well maintained, and they did a fantastic job with the interior. The tower is really nice.

You can go up the tower and get views of the whole city from the center. You can also see the inside of the clock where the figures spin in a circle and go out the window that's being shown outside. There's also some really nice free bathrooms on the ground floor.

Almost missed it, as the entrance is on the left of the Astronomical Clock. The Old Town Hall is impressive by itself, but it also gives access to see the saints behind the Astronomical Clock (the ones that pop out every hour) and you also get to go up the tower and have a panoramic view of the city. The ticket is not individual and you must buy the visit for the entire building to get to go up the tower.

Beautiful design of the clock, make sure to go inside the building , and clock chimes every 5 minute before an hour . if you're inside you can watch the characters taking their turn to move . It does cost some money and a pamphlet is recommended so you know what is going on in each room for its history . Make sure to visit the tower as you get a good view of the town square even prague itself

I loved this place at least going up the tower where you can have 360 view of the city and also at the square. There is a ticket for the exhibits and the tower.

Visited the town hall / astronomical clock in a recent visit to Prague. We pre-booked tickets online and needed to exchange the online code for paper tickets at the desk prior to entry. I believe this would be useful in the summer but it was quiet enough in early February to not worry. The best part is the top of the tower which gives a great view over the main square, there are lots of steps so keep this in mind before you go. There are lifts you can pay for but they only take you some of the way.

Tip: 50% off tickets before 10am! Great view but also incredibly beautiful inside. You can see the apostels that turn every hour from the inside. Specially designed, unique elevator.

At first an important notice about tickets: if you buy a combined ticket for both old town hall and the tower entrance on the first floor, it costs CZK 480 for a family ticket. If you buy solely tower entrance, it will set you back CZK 600 for a family. So I recommend buying tickets on the first floor. The old town hall is very impressive from the outside. The tower is very tall. In the inside in the “museum” there’s not much to see but it’s still worth going there. The view from the tower is astonishing. Absolutely loved it. If you’re around, it’s certainly worth it to go there and climb the tower, you won’t regret it.

I loved climbing up the stairs of the building and the tower seeing all the amazing paintings and interims design. And the view from the top was beautiful! If you’re in Prague you definitely have to check this out. A little pricey, but at least that means it doesn’t get too swamped.

Must-see tour of old Prague town hall but requires planning The Old Town Hall tours (~$25/adult) offer a behind-the-scenes look at the Astronomical Clock and a glimpse into the medieval Czech high-society homes that later became this historic attraction. The guided tours, grouped by language, occur on a couple hour cadence and are usually quickly booked out. The guides are super knowledgeable and the guided tours also feature access to the dungeons / cellars, which were on the original street level of Prague! The clock tower observation deck is a great vantage point to see the Old Town Square and the rest of Prague. There is a lift ($5 round trip) but the ramps to walk upstairs aren’t strenuous and easily accessible.

Beautiful tower, being able to take a journey to the top was fantastic. Amazing views from the top. It may be worth paying the little bit extra to be able to use the lift to the very top, as it is a fair walk up, accessible however the lift may be better

Super interesting guided tour of all the chambers and the underground of the Old Town Hall. We purchased the guided tour ticket, which consists of a general explanation of chambers, clock, paintings, and underground prison. The ticket did not include the lift to the top of the tower however, so we'd recommend purchasing that if you don't want to go to the top through the curly and narrow stairs (my mum felt a bit claustrophobic so we wish we had purchased that too!). Karolina, the tour guide, was great at explaining and keeping us entertained with fun facts throughout the whole tour. We learnt a lot about how the building was designed and how it changed throughout time, the hussites and the Moravian and Bohemian empires, and the gothic style of the time. Would strongly recommend going!

A lovely clock from the outside, but I would definitely recommend buying tickets for the tour inside and to go up the tower: the view is gorgeous. The tour includes access to view the mechanism inside of the clock as well as the underground rooms beneath the town hall and is well worth the money. When ascending the tower you can pay extra to take the lift, but I wouldn't bother as there is a spiral ramp as opposed to stairs which isn't particularly challenging or lengthy to climb. You can buy tickets on the third floor but may need to come back another day for your tour, as they book up quite quickly.

Worth popping in and ascending to the top of the clock tower for the views. You can pay extra for the lift, but alternatively you can take the lifts to level 4, before taking a ramp for a few floors, followed by a spiral stairs case. Takes about 5-10min to get up to the top. You can also see the figurines from the atronomical clock from behind on level 1 and if you time your visit, then you can see them moving.

Entry for student about €8, well worth it in my opinion, even if only for the view from the tower.

Vyšehrad castle is amazing place. You can enter the castle through more main entrances. You can go up to the castle walls, where you can see a beautiful view to the city. The castle is clean and nice. It's pleasure to visit to here. It has statues, memorials, parks, church, cemetery, restrooms, winery and fountains. For us the castle wall is our favourite place, and what is yours?

The entrance is free to this castle! It has a beautiful church and graveyard and a very shaded garden. On a hot summer day, it's the perfect respite from the heat and the crowds of old Prague.

I visited here for a short time in the raining weather. It is a good place for a walk but not with the baby stroller. Overall, it has nice atmostphere and how they managed to treat the passed people was pretty impressive. Cheers!

This little gem is such a nice stroll. If you are going to visit get ready for a walk , the place itself it huge and the attraction is pretty smaller compared to the beautiful area surrounding it. You can get some good viewpoints of the city from the top .

It's a gorgeous place to visit and walk around. Definitely worth a visit, just a nice tranquil walk with so much history. The rotunda is dated around year 900 and is one of the oldest buildings in Prague.

It was quite cool. The church there was nice and the vibe was cool. At the time we went there was a reconstitution with people dressing like in the old times. Food was nice too and quite cheap. There was a wedding at the church that's cool. U can visit the church for a cheap price. If you don't have time to visit this place it is not really a big loss. The church of the city center is better.

The best place to visit in Prague. Although so much busier now with tourists just wanting a quick view and walk on, but there is so much beauty to absorb, if we just stopped to really look.

Such a lovely place, far from the crowds of old town. The views are stunning from the top of the fortress. It is such a peaceful place and so much to do for no cost. If you have some extra time it it worth making your way over to the fortress.

We did all the main sights in Prague and had some extra days so decided to go to this old fortress site. It was snowing all day so no pretty views from the top but the place was still pretty and fun to go around. There's a nice church, a huge graveyard, a cellar with the original statues from the Charles Bridge among others. Most of the sites are paid but we had fun just going around the grounds.

Peaceful and beautiful place in Prague. It’s a bit far from the main squares and bridges which makes it even nicer because it doesn’t get as busy. You can also enjoy some coffee at one of the cafes. Visiting the church is a must! The paintings on the walls and ceiling are completely different from the rest in the city, one of the most beautiful I’ve seen personally. Overall, this place is lovely!

Beautiful spot a little bit away from the main tourist destinations. After a short hike you will be rewarded with a stunning 360° view of Prague. There is a beautiful church as well and free public bathrooms. I can definitely can recommend walking around the park and enjoying the view.

What an amazing spot in the city of spires! The church was absolutely stunning to see with its painted ceilings. The Jewish Graves were fascinating to walk around (some of the sculptures were just amazing to see) and the place had an overall calm and relaxed feel about. The wall walk allowed for some incredible views over the city. There are toilets and a cafe with a good choice of food. Definitely recommend checking this area out, especially if you want some quiet from the main city 😊

It’s a park installed inside the walls of an ancient castle (that doesn’t exist anymore). Beautiful and relaxing place. Though it’s free, you have to pay for a ticket to the church, that is the main building of the area.

My favorite place in Prague with the most breathtaking view. Calm, serenity, the smell after rain, quiet couples in love walking around, many snails cruising around, people walking their wonderful dogs. What else could I ask for.

One of the most stunning buildings in all of Prague. The interior was stunning and rivals any church I've came across. The opportunity to light a candle for a small donation added to the occasion. A beautiful walk around the grounds with some stunning views of the city! Ine of the highlights of the trip but I was really not expecting it to be as good as it is !

What a magnificent place to visit in Prague. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Different parts of the area will give you different views of Prague. It is free to come and enjoy this beautiful place! Plenty of green areas for picnics, benches to recuperate, and fall colors to enjoy the fall vibes. Did I say it's free!? Plenty of area to wind down. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're ever in Prague--it is so worth it.

Vysehrad is an amazing place! It includes the beautiful Cathedral of St Peter and Paul, a big park, many warm places to have coffee or food and a nice view because it's quite high!! Definitely visit!!! I went there in January so the trees weren't blossomed but still it was worth it!!! There is a metro station called Vysehrad but you have to walk a bit. Don't worry! You'll find signs on your way there so you won't get lost!!! It was time for me to go when the lights went on so I got to see the cathedral bright!

Unexpectedly spectacular. Slightly off the tourist trail we took a tram out to the fortress. It's free to walk around but we were able to join a tour of the tunnels which cost a small amount. This was a fabulous tour which explains the history of the fortress. You also get to see some of the original statues from the Charles bridge.

Unbelievable! Amazing view to the city and riverside. The church with black exterior colour is exciting and worth to visit if you are in Vienna. Entrance is free Monuments next to church are amazing piece of art which completes this masterpiece

Walking around the entire area including the church and cemetery are all 100% worth it. The view is amazing and it is definitely quieter during the week. Because it's away from the center of Prague it allows for some quiet and just enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend adding this to your itinerary when visiting Prague.

Vyšehrad is a hidden gem! The church and graveyard are exceptionally beautiful, providing a serene and captivating atmosphere. What's even better is that it wasn't crowded during our visit, allowing us to fully appreciate the tranquility. The presence of parking spaces inside adds to the convenience. A must-visit for those seeking beauty and peace in Prague!

Fantastic place to walk around & easily located by walking down the river. The cemetery has wonderful monuments to the great & the good. Beautifully kept, and you can walk around the fortifications, getting brilliant views of the river.

Lovely fortress complex close to old town. It has a much more imposing structure and defensive feel than of Prague castle. A quick 30 minute walk around the grounds is enough to appreciate the size and scope of the fortress. It also has wonderful views over Prague and Prgaue Castle. There are multiple entrances and exits with free toilets at the east end. No tickets are needed with the groudns being free however entering buildings will cost.

They clearly told me there was no problem at all with cash. So I go to withdraw cash to the bank (not a single one close) and when I came back, another worker told me that that was false, I can't buy with cash now. What happened between those exact 20 minutes? Who knows. Maybe they didn't feel like working at all and wanted to go home early (this was 17:30 by the way). Not a single sorry for lying to your face. Nothing. Just a "fork you", we don't care. Update: up to 3 stars, because the views deserve better rating, the rest still applies. It's perfect at sunset, so you can view the area by day and night if you wait. The rooftops at sunset are great to look at. But you get pretty much the same (plus the bridge itself) views facing the Castle from Charles Bridge and surroundings. You don't gain anything extra from the height though.

I must say, this astronomical clock is truly impressive. The level of craftsmanship and design is really something to admire. The way it still manages to look so elegant is remarkable. I'm genuinely taken aback by how great it is. If you want good picture, go early in the morning

This was worth the wait and lived up to the hype. Located in the old town square in Prague this clock has been running for centuries. It was interesting to see all the parts moving and how it was made as this wonder of scientific progress but they still made it ascetically pleasing.

Visited this clock multiple times you will find that on your trip to Prague if you don’t end up back at Charles Bridge then you’ll definitely be back in the centre on the old town at the astronomical clock. This clock is only accessible by foot as its an almost market square area. Beautiful visit, please visit this clock on an hour as you will get to see a little show (no spoilers here). No tickets needed to visit it is free unless you want a guide (local) or I believe you can enter but that would be charged at the clock. ☺️

Amazing piece of engineering and history in the centre of the Old Town. We were in Prague for 3 days and stopped to watch the clock every chance we had. It's very interesting to discover how all the different mechanics work. I'd recommend standing in front of it at least 15min before it goes off as the street gets very crowded. Also recommend going into the city tower and buying tickets for the old town hall building. You get to see the mechanisms from inside and go to the top of the tower, which has very nice views of the city.

We waited for 5pm o’clock to go off. Watch the blue windows open up, watch the little skeleton shake the bell. It’s magical. Loads of people stop and watch. The whole place is very old fashion, great sightseeing opportunities around. Perfect for a family.

If you are interested in old architecture, this area is incredibly exciting to visit. It is nice, clean and cozy here. There are a lot of restaurants in the area, cafes and bars, so there are many places to sit and relax. There is a good atmosphere here, but also many tourists. 5 stars from me. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Unfortunately I didn’t do enough research to fully understand what only a walk by would have me missing. It’s a beautiful building but make sure you take time to walk around and see the clock. Buy the tickets and climb the stairs. This is one of the oldest mechanical working clocks still working today. So fascinating.

On entrance you have the choice of stairs or lift, if taking the lift you miss out on the beautiful rooms on route to the tower. Once you've reached the top there is an amazing view. Well worth the visit.

This is cool to see. When it chimes it is magical. The area gets a bit crowded but people were pleasant and made it fun. Everyone clapped when it ended. However just before it chimed there was a double rainbow in the sky an it added to the awe from the crowd as we took pictures. They were having Easter market in the town square. This were decorated and people were jovial even with the rain.

It is worth seeing it from inside! Every day, the first working hour is with 50% ticket reduction. If you want to take a proper picture (with light over the clock) - go before lunch.

We dropped by somewhere and walked across Bridge to get there. Beautiful old town bringing me a lot of curiosity. Enjoying seeing people walking around the old town. Most attractive moment is the clock tower belling which gathered many seeker. Beautiful night lights caught my sight even in cold weather until the first snow in Prague.

This is an absolute must do for anyone in prague. One of the many famous attractions, very reasonably priced to visit. Seeing from the outside is one thing, but make sure you pay to climb it and see the stunning views from the top. There is a lift (may cost more, though) or stairs. The views from the top are amazing, with plenty of space and chances to take good photos. 100% recommend.

Beautiful clock from the outside, and very interesting building inside. I took the interior and basement tour and it was fascinating. The guided tour is very thorough with plenty of information about history and architecture, and seeing the basement levels that used to be medieval dwellings was stunning. Gorgeous views from the clock tower as well, with a panoramic view of the old town square.

Really cool visit here, found it interesting that there are zodiac symbols on a Catholic clock! Josephus must have been right. Beautiful square amazing art! Well worth the 5000 plus miles we traveled.

The classic old town square in Prague! It’s usually packed with tourists, with many restaurants and souvenir shops around. The astronomical watch is the main highlight, we did not go in. There’s a cool ride in an old classic car where they take you around the area. Recommended!

Reserve a tour of the inside! They sell out regularly so do it early. Beautiful set up on the inside and wonderful views when you're at the top looking out. Also the underground tour is good too!

This landmark is a must to check out when you come to visit Prague. The clock chimes on hour, with the clock figurines will come out making arounds. Kinda cute. One thing to note, it doesn’t really matter when you come to see the clock. Doesn’t matter is on the weekday or the weekend. you will see a lot of people crowded by this clock. The best way that we found , you can enjoy take a look at the clock is to get a table by one of the restaurants right in front of the clock, order some good food and drinks, and take your time. This way , not only you will get some of the best views of the clock, also, you don’t need to fight the crowd.

An amazing clock dating to the early 1400s. I suggest taking the Old Town Hall and underground tour. Make sure you go to the top of the clock tower for amazing city views. *We booked our tickets in advance through a third party vendor which was helpful.

Prague astronomical clock is located in Old town square with many historical structures like Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn, St. Nicholas Church and so on. This clock is attached to the Old town Hall and was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still in operation. (Amazing!) It seems it works very complicatedly with astronomical dial, statues of various Catholic saints or so. Hence please refer to any other good sites explaining in detail if you want to know further (^^) What is really famous is that there is an hourly show of moving Apostle figures and other sculptures, notably a figure of a skeleton that represents Death, striking the time. (please check with my movie attached) To see this tremendous performance of the clock, hundreds of people gathered but they soon found that this show ends quite quickly if they just arrived just after show began. (So I think recording it is something mandatory to review it again.)

If you go to Prague it is mandatory to go and see it. It is already wonderful from the outside, the ticket price is negligible compared to the view it offers over the city. For those who suffer from vertigo I recommend taking the lift up, otherwise everything is perfect. If you go up on foot it's a bit of effort but it's worth it.

What a magnificent time piece located in very very busy area of the square. It is an impressive apparatus. I was not aware you could enter the building as there seemed to be lots of groups standing in from of the clock, outside, been spoke to by numerous guides.

An absolutely must see for everyone who's visiting Prague! I highly suggest to go on the top and take photos/videos because you can get a great view of all the city from 4 different sides. The price is 12 € if you choose to use steps instead of elevator (they're very easy to climb). You can also visit the historical interiors of the building.

Great view over Prague. If you pay for a drink you get free access to the view point over the city and the Karl’s bridge further down the river. You can also book a table for lunch or dinner at the Fred and Ginger restaurant one floor below

This is a very famous building in prague. In weekend it gets very rush and crowded place. Many people take amazing photos with this building. If you want to take a clean and great photo my suggestion would be, go there early like 8-9-10am. In that time not many tourists come by. Overall this is good place for Photogenic. A must watch thing in Prague🇨🇿

What a stunning building so unusual. It's on a busy corner but you're able to get right up to the top to a cafe bar & observation deck. You do either have to buy a drink or pay to go outside. We bought coffee and a coke prices a little higher due to where it is but still reasonable under the circumstances Views from the observation deck is lovely and you can see across the river. We felt it was definitely worth visiting and going up to the top

Very nice amazing building with fabulous view from top. You can also enjoy the food and drinks from the top and can see sunset.

Didn't have a lot of time but it was a nice visit. The art gallery on the ground floor has some fun pieces, and there is also a cafe there for a quick snack. The view from the rooftop is beautiful, giving a nice panoramic lookout over the city and beyond. You can enjoy a refreshing drink or fruit juice of your choice from the bar at the entry to the roof viewing platform, while you take in the awe of the surroundings. The staff also speak English so that helped. Very good location overall.

Stylish building… End the story… If you love architecture, you will feel interesting. After you take the photo, thats the end of the spot, nothing else. Just a photo spot, a bit disappointed

Before going, I imagined the building to be exceptional, but really, it's just another building across the street that loks slightly different from other buildings. The cafe in the building is nice, but not overpriced. I only wished that the cafe IN the Dancing building would have some designs or artifacts that denote that it's a special building.

Exceptional place to stay in the New Town of Prague. If you like buildings with interesting history, you’re definitely on the right place. Even building was constructed in 1996 it still catches eye of any tourist visiting it. There is 270 degrees view from roof top where you can take a drink and just enjoy the moment. We stood in the hotel room with Vltava and Prague castle view. But you can just come over for roof top view/restaurant, or visit buffet at the ground floor.

Nice looking building with a beautiful view on top. You just need to get a drink from the bar on the roof to get access to the terrace and the prices are reasonable.

Definitely worth going up to the top and having a drink at the glass bar and admire the view. Have y98lets and a lift. Also has a restaurant and is even a hotel looks a beautiful place.

Entry into Dancing house is free. Tickets 🎟️ are available online. Dancing house was a great architecture in Prague. If you are in Czech Republic 🇨🇿 specially in Prague must visit this building to enjoy the design. There is not much special in this building but experience is nice from inside. Now it’s also open for stay. I recommend to enjoy the lean pictures from the opposite side of the building. If you are using car to reach here then you have to park a little far from the road. Get the tram 🚋 close to this location.

The Dancing House, or Ginger and Fred was designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry on a vacant riverfront plot. The building was designed in 1992 and the construction was completed four years later in 1996. It is nice to go on the top floor (free) and have a drink with a nice view. The house is even an hotel.

The view from the dancing house is great. If you want to go outside to the observation platform you are charged with 100 czk per person or you buy a drink or a delicious cake, which is what we did. You can spend as much time as you want up there. The architecture of the building is really amazing.

Very ordinary place and it's normal I don't know why people consider it as landmark in Prague. In this place there is a bar in the rooftop. Lots of tourists come to take photos of this building. I hope they develop it for good looking with the time. Not recommended to visit if you just want to see it.

Beautiful architecture even just to take a picture outside! Tram stop right in front of building. We timed our visit at sunset so we went to rooftop Glass Bar- you can pay 100k to see view or go out with any purchase. We bought a drink and stood outside. It’s quite cold/windy so dress accordingly. Thin aisle around the rooftop but everyone is kind and enjoying the view. Places to sit. Also a small cafe style area just inside the viewing platform to sit if you like. It’s a beautiful view of Prague Castle, the Petrin Tower and the river. I sipped tea and enjoyed every minute!

Great place to get a good View of the city especially in the evening! You need to spend 100czk as an entry fee to access the rooftop. However the best way to get in is grab any drink from the counter and go and enjoy the evening hues and lovely view of the city of Prague! Fine-dining option is available and drinks selections are good for the rooftop bar!!

This was one of my favorite stays in Prague and a bucket list item for a long time! The building is stunning and if you stay there you even get a free ticket to get to the 8th floor rooftop to take panoramic pictures. The views are incredible and if you have the chance to get there I would recommend the morning or sunset to get the best lighting. The staff were incredibly nice and store our luggage a bit before check-in and after check-out so we could explore the city without the hassle of carrying our bags. The rooms are modern and very comfortable.

It’s just a curved building. Busy place as popular for photos. However, I give it 5 stars as its next to the river, part of the nice walk, I hear the view from the top (Bar) is very nice and the Ss. Cyril and Methodist Cathedral is just down the road and worth visiting!

The distinct Gothic twin towers of this church are visible from large portion of old town area. The towers are very ornate with the signature Gothic spires that reached into the skies. It is almost as iconic to Prague as the Eiffel tower for Paris. Visitors are free to enter and visit during the day. It is amazing for a building of this size and scale to be built in 1400s. The furniture inside is Baroque in style, with intricate wood carving altars. There is also an antique organ in the church.

The Church of Mother of God before Týn often translated as Church of Our Lady before Týn, is a Gothic church of the Old Town of Prague having Baroque style at the same time. The church's 80 m high two towers is said to mean Adam and Eve. This church is just in the Old town square and there are many spots gathered closely each other in Old town square, it is very good to go one to the other. Its towering appearance with gold plate which is visible from a far is really spectacular due to its location among low height buildings. In particular, it is famous for its beautiful night view, so it is a must visit place to take night view photos. (Daytime photo is also mandatory)

Entrance to the church is free but you can’t give money as a charity to help the church. Inside of the church is for bidden to take photos but of course we didn’t hiding our phones and this is the only place where they didn’t allow us to take the photos at all. Usually they don’t allow to take photos like flash or they don’t allow it to take photos of some saints things. To answer the church must go through the passage in the building and make sure you check when the church is open and when the praying it’s not happening.

Very impressive church, it’s much worth taking a visit inside, it’s fit narrowly between buildings so you can’t see much of the outside, but in the inside it’s really impressive. The visit inside is free which is much appreciated, but you can voluntarily gift €1.5 for the renovation of the church

Really a church that makes the centre of the tower what it is. The sharp spirals are very unique for a church. It can be viewed during the day or even at night as there are a few lights to light it up. The square can get a bit busy so be careful not to lose people. Furthermore if you want food try walking atleast 5 mins aay and you will get better food and prices.

What a fantastic Church in the centre of Prague's Old Town. Impressive scenic presence also given by the two towers that really stand out on the Square. The entry is free if you wish to visit it.

In the 11th century, the Old Town plaza area was occupied by a Romanesque church, which was built for foreign merchants coming to the nearby Týn Courtyard.[1] It was replaced by an early Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn in 1256. Construction of the present church began in the 14th century. The church was designed in the late Gothic style under the influence of Matthias of Arras and later Peter Parler. By the beginning of the 15th century, construction was almost complete; only the towers, the gable and roof were missing. The church was controlled by Hussites for two centuries, including John of Rokycan, future archbishop of Prague, who became the church's vicar in 1427. The building was completed in the 1450s, while the gable and northern tower were completed shortly thereafter during the reign of George of Poděbrady (1453–1471). His sculpture was placed on the gable, below a huge golden chalice, the symbol of the Hussites. The southern tower was not completed until 1511, under architect Matěj Rejsek.

We were most fortunate to have attended an evening of classical music held within this magnificent church in Prague, just off Old Town Square. A fitting locale to hear 11 string musicians play their violins, cello’s and a bass as a soloist sang ‘Ave Maria’ and other, moving and beautiful songs. It’s a pity I am limited to only 30 seconds or less of video per scene and it’s difficult to recreate the emotions that were felt in so small a time frame. Enjoy it.

Impressive and unique at the same time, thanks to it's twin towers capped with a set of unusual rooftops that define the Prague skyline. There are some nice gothic architectural details to admire and you can climb the towers if you wish, and if you pay the fee. Inside, however, is fairly disappointing. Just bare stone and white stucco with some out-of-place looking baroque details such as the altar and the pulpit. All and all, an iconic structure that's worth visiting just prepare to be underwhelmed by the interior.

Brilliant church located in the heart of this old town. Iconic, sacred and beautiful. It is fascinating and important from a historical perspective. I bet that's why it is seen everywhere on postcards, fridge magnets and other souvenirs, and it indeed represents Prague somehow. The lighting at night make it more special especially with the xmas market around. Absolutely a must go in Prague.

Majestic Gothic-style church on Prague’s Old Town Square. Interior of the church features beautiful stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, and other gorgeous stone elements. Would recommend early visits during the weekday to avoid large tour groups.

Beautiful yet sad Jewish cemetery near the old town. Has a hundreds of burial stones in the grounds and also 80,000 names of Jews killed during WWII. We did a self guided tour as unforntunately we were on a tight timeline due to leaving Prague the same day but we would recommend maybe a guided tour option at the cemetery to find out more of the history if possible.

We visited the Jewish Cemetery independent of a guide as part of our self-guided tour of the Jewish Quarter in Prague. While we preferred the freedom of not having a guide, we were a little sad we didn't have one, as we wanted to learn more during our visit to the cemetery. The Cemetery is beautiful and moving, and a must-see site. However, there is no brochure or signs or anything to help give history of context as you are moving through. So either bring a guide or bring a guidebook, if that matters to you. That being said - a very worthy and beautiful place to visit. So quiet and serene (except the occasional less-than-respectful tour group). Note: entrance is included as part of the "Jewish Museum" ticket - you cannot pay to enter just this site. It is 500 czk for entrance to all the sites.

Beautiful, park like cemetery with old graves, beautiful statues, mausoleums right in the middle of the city. You won't even notice that a busy city life is going on right outside the walls of the cemetery. The cemetery is easy to reach by subway (red line), bus and tram. All of these stop at the flora shopping center and this is only a 2 minute walk away.

Well preserved cemetery with hundreds of tombstones surrounded by relatively modern buildings. You get to go around the Graves and if you familiar with the language you will be able to read some of the words written on the Graves. Although this is not the cheapest site seeing in Prague, this consider to be one of the "must see" when you visit Prague, and especially if you're in the Old Town.

Definitely worth a visit while in Prague. While a bit overpriced, still a must-see at least once in your life. Lots of thought provoking history in this area.

Beautiful cemetery with old grave stones and surrounding buildings in a park setup. We had the pack that gives you access to it as well as several museum and synagogues of the Jewish quarter and we really enjoyed it!

Definitely without a doubt our favorite place in Prague, looks a bit unreal even , it is so creepy special and beautiful. When we were here there was little bit of fog just like in some kind of a horror movie. We could have spent here a lot of hours looking and photographing but we bought the combined ticket for all the Jewish places so we had to carry on. It is not allowed to walk near the graves and tombstones just along the path that goes around and a bit inside.

It is an incredible place where you can feel history. Historically, as the cemetery was in the ghetto it could not expand horizontally so it expanded in height with hundreds of ancient gravestones one next to another.

A tad bit over rated but beautiful nonetheless. Beautiful grounds and trees surround the tower. After hiking up steep hills to see it, I was grateful for the “I Love You” cafe east of the tower. Homemade pies and cakes with a nice glass of lemonade to enjoy. The whole area is a great place to walk around exploring or just sitting under a tree resting, enjoying the view. Oh yes, there’s a Tram you can take up and down the mountain if you don’t want to hike all the way up.

You can take stairs easily so don’t waste money in buying elevator option. Views are good but don’t keep very high expectations. Tower is shaking slightly and you can feel this. Good experience to see the city view from the top

Must visit place, get public train from uzjed and come to petrin, its cool. You can use your same city transport ticket for this train also. The train from Uzjed is a rop-pull train that goes up the hill where petrin tower is there. This route is super.

A beautiful walk up the hill (or you can take the historic lift, also a super experience). Go up the observatory (it's easy, there are lifts), the views on the old city centre of Prague are definitely worth it. From there it's a short (15 min), easy walk to Strahov Monastery. The library is, not yo be missed. The walk back to town is scenic, down hill and ever so beautiful, esp. just before sunset. You'll need at least half a day. A five star experience!

Just a tower giving you some good views of Prague, at the price of 220kc it doesn't worth in my opinion. There is a cafe (expensive) Wc Walking in the garden though, until the palace is a wonderful path

I recommend to buy a ticket online. It's fast and uncomplicated and also you have the opportunity to add a visit in the house of mirrors for more favorable. You can choose between an elevator and maybe about 300 steps, but I recommend to walk because of the sight. There are two reversed stairs, so you don't have problems with people walking downstairs. In April the elevator was broken, but if you want to use it you will have to pay little more. The view is stunning.

Amazing views from the Tower. The price is a fair price, I didn't have to queue long - around 3 minutes. I paid to go up on the lift, which was well worth it, and then walked back down and then walked down the hill to Charles Bridge (which my legs regretted the next day) I definitely recommend visiting especially on a clear day. Nice view spot of the City, go up, by foot even better. Not too crowded. We were in great day, and it took about 30 min only tower. Entire trip, go up and down with Funicular, about 2hr we spend, there is really nice park there, to seat relaxe. Good air in hot day.

there are a lot of people on the tower but the view is very good. there are 299 stairs so I wouldn't walk up there because there is an elevator. also if your scared of hights, you should take the elevator because when your almost at the top, the walls of the stairs disappear.

Great views of Prague and set in a lovely park that we spent a couple of hours exploring, including going on the virnicular. Be prepared to walk up quite a lot of steps! It's worth it when you get to the top though and there are lots of little stopping places on the way up down. Worth a look on a reasonably clear day.

The walk to the tower was pleasant. I walked up the tower, rather than taking the lift. There are seats at regular intervals, if you need a breather. The views were absolutely fantastic. It was well worth the visit.

We did not go to the top as there is no elevator. Had the best mulled wine at I Love You. The churches are nice and the walk was welcomed. We rode the funnicular which was fun and interesting. Recommend the Lookouts as well. Would visit again.

Beautiful view up there. They also offer to get on the top by lift which takes about 1 min and costs around 5-6 euro per person. Otherwise you have to go by stairs and it's just about 300 of them. I recommend the place, it offers a beautiful view of Prague and there is a park around so it was a beautiful quiet morning spent there

One of the most beautiful scenic points! It definitely worth climbing. During my visit, the elevator was not functional. Attention, there is an extra fee for it, apart from the ticket price. There are 299 steps to climb 😁 The area has several places where you can get refreshments from. I recommend visiting.

While I visited the funicular was closed but this tower can be also reached by bus (keep in mind you will have to walk some 15 minutes before reaching the tower). The prices are reasonable. If you want to use the elevator you will have to pay an extra fee. It might get quite crowded at times. The view is amazing though. One of my trip's highlights!

Historical landmark, with 360 view of Prague. Not crowded, even though it was a weekend. It was the long queue for the cable car, so we took a walk instead - it’s approximately 10-15 mins walk, up the hill, which can be challenging for someone. Other option is to walk to the middle station of the cable car (6-7 mins uphill) and from there to take cable car.

Smaller than it appears a little, still very nice attraction. 220 czk per person to get on top of it. You can add 150 czk and use the elevator, but all the fun is to use the stairs. The view from the top is great 😃 recommend

Inspired by the Eiffel Tower, this steel construction gives great views of Prague The tower is available to enter for a fee. There is a lift to the top that can be accessed for an additional fee. The tower stays open until 2100 at night and gives great views of the city in night and day. For anyone who enjoys heights, or views, or 19th century engineering, this is a great place to visit.

It's definitely a must. Spectacular views 360 degrees. Take the stairs, it's up there but you'll feel good about it. The way down is way easier than the way up. On a clear day, you can see everything for miles.. Great for photography. May not be okay if you have a fear of heights or being high up in a structure.

Petřín tower is one of the most beautiful places in Prague as you can see the entire city line. Literally it’s a Czech-Mate moment when you go at the top. So you need to get down at the nearest tram station which could also be from the Prague castle’s side and then you need to go at the top all the way by walking up the elevated inclined walk. That’s around 2 kilometres but the walk is so beautiful that it grows on you every-time you look around. You will see people chilling, relaxing and having the time of their lives by going on dates, taking light walks and enjoying their family time in the gardens surrounding the tower. Also, one pro tip is not to order the hot chocolate from a kiosk bottom of the Petřín tower as it is a complete waste altogether.

Definitely the high point of Prague (literally). There's two options to go up in the lift or the stairs. The stairs has various seats to rest on in case you need a breath or to take in the breathtaking views. Via the stairs you get two areas. A middle platform and the top. It can become quite crowded at the main area to look out across the city but worth waiting and just seeing the views. Really worth it and a bit of exercise too! Thou from middle platform to top there are barely any seats on that way up or down. So be prepared.

Amazing views of Prague City. Good place to take pictures and videos of surrounding areas. A little windy and chilly, I suggest bringing a hat and gloves. Cost extra to take elevator to the top. If not, it's a lot of walking and a lot of steps. Nice little cosy cafe at the bottom. Wonderful pastries and cakes. Plus amazing hot chocolate.

Best 360° view over Prague, separate staircases for people coming down from the ones coming up, it is a bit of a climb but there are benches for resting at each level and there is an elevator as well. Probably not the best thing for the ones afraid of heights but if you will find the courage to climb you'll not regret it.

From this place in the old city you can usually walk around Prague. Better be free and visit every small streets cause many interesting you can watch. It's looks like small district but you need to have a lot of time to walk here, cause many exciting places, shops, tavernas, restaurants. So enjoy slowly, without fast. It's very historical and every building has own stories

This is one of the senior landmark in Prague, Czechia. it’s located in old town Prague, you will walk pass by it whenever you are in the old town or the new town area. It’s unique color, makes it very recognizable from far away . This is also how it received its name which was combined with its original purpose. It is open to the public to go up , but since we did not go up, so we cannot really share any inside pictures or videos here.

Great place to visit at the center of the Prague city. A bit of a climb, but the city scapes are worth it. The nearby square and malls are excellent too. Although, other than views, ther are no exhibitions when I visited, and was pretty empty inside.

This tower was unusual as compared to the buildings around it. This looks like more older and didn't had paint, which is understandable as the building is has proper stone finishing outside. I was roaming the city and found many people in sport wear. Then I followed them and came to know that the day was Czech Run, which is an event of Czech marathon. I saw many international players participating in that marathon. I was there when the race was finished. Some runners from Africa were on the top lists who finished the race. There were many local artists who were singing. I felt a sense of happiness in all the people around. The race finished at this tower. The tower was originally built as one of the main entrances of the Old city. later the tower was used to store the gun powder and got its name as The Powder Tower. I had some photographs which I am sharing with you. I don't know ho it looks from inside but from outside it looks stunning. Beautiful architecture.

Enjoy the lovely view on top of this tower. Contrary to many other places in Prague, this wasn't crowded at all. Not too much to see on the inside apart from the building itself and a few sculptures, however, the view over the city makes visiting this place definitely worthwhile.

If you’re not very physically fit, parts of this tower might be one of the harder ones to climb in Prague. But the view at the top is worth it, the location is a good one for views over Prague and the architecture of the walkway around the top is unusual for the city. It adds an interesting element the other towers in the city don’t have.

Amazing views of the city and not too many stairs to the top. There are also 3 floors dedicated to explaining the history and displaying artwork related to the tower. There also weren’t many people when I was there compared to other towers like the old city hall.

This is one of the 13 gates of the city. It is well know as most visitors walk through this gate towards the old town. You can climb the 186 steps inside the tower to reach the viewing platform at 44m, for views over the Old Town.

Beautiful views! Nice landings in between stairs to get a little break with some nice pieces to look at. The stairs are very steep so be careful. I wish they had better signage/or more employees as when I went people went into wrong stairwells going up/down leading to panic as people tried to get around one another in the steep narrow stairwells - one person nearly fell! So be careful - but the views are worth it!

A tower must go. Buy pancake ticket that including several sightseeing spots. This is worth. Give you beautiful view of the Charles bridge. Not too many steps for climbing.

Such an underrated spot! The ticket booth is located on the sidewalk on the north side of the tower. They also offer tickets bundled for other historical attractions around town. Cash and card is accepted. There are two floor of the tower and then the roof terrace and attic. Your ticket will be checked in the first floor. The staircase leading up is barely wide enough for people to pass so be careful. There are exhibits on each floor, but you're probably going up for the view at the top. Go at sunset for the best views! Tripods aren't allowed, but you're able to rest a camera on the ledges at each window. It's probably the best view in the city.

Found this randomly and decided to go up. You can buy tickets at the ticket booth across from the front entrance outside, or by card. At the top of the entry stairs. It was a really great view and we had it all to ourselves during nighttime hours. Really cool, with the wooden structure and the wind blowing, making everything creak and sound somewhat spooky.

Right next to the town hall building. Located in the centre of Prague and you cannot miss this spot. It is standing there and has been witnessing so much change of this fantastic city. It looked extremely beautiful in snow!

Really fancy and beautiful Cafe, where should i start.... The service is amazingly fast and the food is so delicious, the cake was so good, there is a life Piano music that makes the atmosphere super cozy, there is a Robot that drves around and collect the dirty dishes, the interior is like a barok stile nice and warm, and the prices are not so expensive. It is highly recommended

I recommend visiting this place. It was less crowded than the Astronomical Clock Tower. Although there wasn't much to see, I think it's a nice spot if the weather is good.

A spectacular Baroque church in Prague This is possibly the most ornate church in a city of ornate churches. If you have any interest in Baroque architecture, this should be on your list for visiting Prague. However, the sheer opulence of the church can become overwhelming at times. The upper stories of the church may be visited, and the tower can also be accessed from a separate entrance.

Very beautiful church, but I don’t think the entrance should incur a cost. If you’re a student with a valid student card, you will pay around 3€, and normal price is something like 5.5€ (140 czk). There’s no need to book the tickets in advance, at least if you go during week days as we did. I can’t talk for weekends! You’re allowed to go upstairs, where there’s a small art exposition, and you can see the organ from very close - which is very beautiful by the way. Same with the ceiling and the columns. I liked it, but won’t pay again to enter tho.

The most incredibly opulent church I've ever visited! Breathtakingly Beautiful!

This is a Baroque architectural church and is an elaborate style of architecture popular in the seventeenth and eighteen centuries. This church definitely impress me as the most beautiful church I have seen so far. The sculptures are so intricately done and also covered by gold either in part of in full which the interior of the church so breath taking. The roof is also beautifully painted and that makes me look in awe as I walked into the interior of the church building. For those who love beautiful works of architecture, a visit to this building is a must.

Truly one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen. Make sure you go up to the gallery to see their small art collection and get a close look at the art in the ceiling.

AMAZING! I am a big fan of viditing Churches, Abbeys, etc and that one stunned me by its beauty. I even found it nicer than the few Italian ones I visited in Florence, or Bergamo! 😍 Don't miss it if you like Baroque Art!

Beautiful baroque church, the light colours, the bright pink marble, and the amazing frescos in the ceiling make this building one of the most gorgeous churches I've ever seen. I 100% recommend the visit.

Out of the city’s numerous churches, this one must be the ultimate baroque experience. The opulence and art make for a nice walkthrough. I found the use of multicoloured stones outstanding and had never seen it in such an extent. A baroque behemoth in the sweetest pastels.

One of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever seen. A lot of colourful details on the walls as well as lots of different religious paintings. I definitely recommend to have a look at it. The entry costs somewhere around 2 euros.

I visited for the purposes of climbing the Lesser Town Belfry Tower which is connected to the church. The view from the top is great, making you feel close to the castle and also to Charles Bridge at the same time. There are tram lines right below the tower that are fun to watch people come and go from. And there’s a surprise element that no other tower - that I climbed - in Prague, has. It’s very challenging to climb at times [though it starts out so easy and makes you think it’s going to be the whole time!] even though it’s not the tallest tower in Prague, and yet it’s worth it when you do get to the top. Along the way there are decorated quarters for the people that used to call the tower home, with period-appropriate furniture and historical explanations. And when you get to the top, there are preserved World War-era elements because of the tower’s strategic importance that add a really interesting aspect to the visit and the views.

Like all architecture in Prague, it is a very beautiful church, both externally and externally. It is not as beautiful against the backdrop of Prague Castle, but it is also very cool.

What an amazing architectural marvel... must see... beautiful carvings, paintings, sculptures, statues, ornaments. There are lots of historical stories to understand and read about. Original paintings of the Jesus by one of the most famous and top artist from Check Ruplic.

One of the most breathtaking churches I have ever seen. Regardless of whether Baroque architecture is your cup of tea, this church will amaze. Every square inch is a work of art from the architecture to the statues with every wall covered in painting. Gilded gold and marble covers the interior and the full view is accessible from the gallery for no extra cost! Tickets are affordable with concessions to students, children and elderly, and can be bought on the door.

Eye-catching, and breath-taking. This is such a beautiful church with great art presented. The entrance fee is not much but the church is definitely worth visiting. On the upper floor you will have a closer view of the ceiling where they have amazing paintings. There is also a gallery for art and it is just magnificent!

It is a magnificent place with full of spirits around. You can find magnificent paintings on the second floor. It is fully recommended to visit at least an hour to feel full vibe. Mostly It is crowded during afternoon and morning visit much more recommended.

The most famous Baroque church in Prague is also one of the most valuable Baroque buildings north of the Alps. The dome has an impressive diameter of 20 m, and the interior height to the top of the lantern is over 49 m, making it the highest interior in Prague. It is also an outstanding example of high Baroque decoration. Concerts are held in the church year-round on the historic organ dating to the 18th century.

A very beautiful church. It's a nice touch that you can go onto the upper balcony to see some pieces of artwork and admire the church from an elevated position.

Some may argue that the arrangement of these artifacts and evidence indicates a certain bias, but I wholeheartedly dissent from this viewpoint. The museum simply presents events as they occurred in the past. It's a widely accepted fact that communism was a catastrophe in every country it was implemented. This includes the Czech Republic, where the collapse of communism eventually led to freedom of speech, which ironically allows one to express opinions about perceived bias.

Educational and interesting museum centered on the effects of WW2 and communism in Czechoslovakia. The timeline follows from WW2 into the 1980s mainly, with real-life examples of life in Czechia due to communistic policies. The experience is mainly reading, and only text in English and Czech is provided. The text will be too complicated for teens below middle school (unless they love history). Not a strong anti-Communist slant, although some of the language is clearly biased. Reporting is relatively unbiased and relies on sources to show examples. Impressive mockups of places during the Communist era are here, but too much reading is needed of over 50+ walls. It would be better to have a more immersive experience.

Good self directed museum summarising what it was like to live under communism rule, particularly in Czechslovakia. Covers all angles from everyday life, military, political, social and intelligence. I guess it shows that communism truly pervaded all aspects of life. Opens late so handy to visit for an hour or two between other things

Outstanding museum. So much history. Really informative exhibits with a lot to read and absorb. I think they did a wonderful job explaining the pain and suffering the Czech people have gone through prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Velvet Revolution. Well done!!! Leave 2-3 hours to really get the most out of this museum. A lot to read and well worth the time if you love history.

Great Museum! Very interesting history and facts. It truly brings to life the spirit of Communism. Maybe a little biased to the West but that's understandable. Definitely visit if you have the time.

It is a good place to check out and doesn't take a lot of time if you have a lot you want to see in Prague. The exhibits are designed well. You get a sense of the impacts that communism had on the lives of every day people. Children should see this museum to see that communism is horrible and a bad idea.

Well done modern museum but, hot damn, was that a lot of writing to read. Depending on your level of interest (and how much you want to read) you could spend 30 minutes or a couple hours walking around. The day we went there were people there but it wasn't super busy, no need to buy a ticket in advance.

Excellent museum. Plenty of items and wtitten word...in Czech and in English. Audio visuals with ordinary people's experiences of life are well worth listening to - these have English sub titles. I spent 5 hours in here. Only drawback is it took some time to find the place. The entrance isn't particularly noticeable, halfway along a block next to a restaurant. But the actual building has the words MUSEUM on the rooftop. Definitly a place to visit

There's nothing special about this museum apart from the pictures and history about the Soviet origins of the Czechoslovakia. OK, it's important to remember and tell the young generations about the devastating nature of the communism but charging approximately 20 Euros for the stories that you can easily find from a simple Google search or from the Wikipedia page of the communist Czechoslovakia is nothing more than robbery. If you want to learn about Soviets or communism in general, go read Orwell or GG Marquez or Solzhenitsyn or whatever but do not get conned by this so called museum.

As a human geographer and trained sociologist, it was great to have found this museum. I got a student discount as a PhD researcher and i enjoyed reading the history of communism from the perspective of old Czechoslovakia. Really enlightening

We were a group of American college students and two professors, and we had Pavel as a guide. It was fascinating to hear a first person perspective of living under communism in Prague. I loved him as a guide: he made our visit much more enlightening.

What an experience to go back in time and read the text and time line and how surprest the people where the CCCP (iron curtain) just had their way and crushed every day common family and put them to hard work 14-16 hours a day 6 days a week.its been a delight spending a long weekend in Prague amazing weather it was great to cool down inside the museum of communism it was well set out on several floors with a cafe and gift shop all with air conditioning I mustn't forget the little film show enough room for about 20 - 30 people. So if you're stuck for something to do if the weather looks dodgy like for us and not enough time to to much and you like history give it a go also the under ground is right there

One of the better museums we visited in Prague. Lots of detailed information (lot of reading), great art and exhibition pieces to lead visitors through the history of communism in Europe. You can spend between 1-2 hours here depending on whether you also watch the film material. It's not too busy during week days.

I learnt so much today. I grew up when the Cold War was a real thing. The Berlin Wall existed. I knew very little of the lives of the people who lived beyond that wall in the states run by Moscow. What an education I received today. Fantastic exhibits.

At interesting museum covering the history of "Czechoslovakia" from 1938 to 1989. The entrance was unfortunately obscured by a large school party, but apart from that, there was no problem with my visit. I found most of exhibits interesting and there was a large amount of text to read, I spent a good hour/hour and a half in the museum. The museum clearly has an agenda... Every thing in Stalinist (Communist) Czechoslovakia was bad! While I'm a man of the left, and I certainly have no time for the old Czechoslovakian "Communist" government, who used police state tactics against legitimate political opposition and crushed the Prague spring of 1968. There were some jarring information boards, the Czechoslovakian Communist Party for all its many faults in 1948 had a large amount of support in the Czech part of Czechoslovakia which was glossed over and not really explained. Why and How it got that support? Some boards were just silly... "there were no mobile phones in Czechoslovakia before 1989" ... The majority of the world didn't have mobile phones before 1989! The Golden Sixties board denounces for Czechoslovakia for only abolishing Saturday working in 1968... But I'm sorry many of us in the democratic West were still working Saturday's in the 1980s! There was alot wrong with the old regime, no opposition parties, no free trade unions, no civic freedom... But nearly 40 years after the end of the regime, use the museum to put the past into proper context. Saying all that it's still worth a visit...

This museum is full of anti-communist and anti-russian propaganda. I have never seen such a political influenced museum. I can’t believe I payed for this. Even things like a public sports events: spartakiads are criticized. They say it is because the state wanted their citizens to have the ideal body, while the health and bellies of people nowadays are the complete opposite. Shirts with matryoshka dolls with vampire teeth are sold in the gift shop, and the exhibition is nothing but negative. Soviets were the first in space, Soviets sacrificed so many people in world war two to fight nazism, almost 27000000 people , way more than americans and jews. At the end of the exhibition there is a poster which says: Russia has yet again shown that they do not care to have a place in a civilized world. Which made me so furious I almost ripped the poster off the wall. Look at russian museums, listen to Tsjaivosky, read russian literature and you will see how civilized Russia is. I don’t say communism hasn’t had it’s problems. But it has created much positive things too. Don’t change anything about the collection, but fire that curator and start to rewrite everything again but be objective.

Nice views of Prague. Love the baby sculptures crawling on the outside of the building—-have to see it, to believe it. Pretty cool. While not the most beautiful looking of towers, the views are great of the entire city. Glad we checked this off the list of things to do in Prague.

The structure itself is really cool with the babies it's such an eye-catching building. But it seems to be completely closed right now. Maybe there is some upgrades happening inside, but the entrance looked abandoned with some dropped bits and pieces of materials being visible through the frosted glass doors. Still worth coming to it though, there is a nice park and place to have some food and drinks and it's very interesting to see close up.

Seemingly out of place within the Prague skyline but once I saw it in the distance I was instantly intrigued. And it doesn’t disappoint. Quirky in its appearance and styling, and with 10 huge sculptural babies climbing up and down it, I simply loved it. Inside a lift takes you to the observation decks and wow, the views of Prague are worth it. There’s a poster of just enough information for the weary traveller to digest, translated into several languages. Well worth a short metro journey to this quieter area if the city.

Really worth a visit for the views. Loved the swing chairs. The other viewing rooms are empty. The bar /bistro/restaurant hasn't found its identity yet I think. But still enjoyed a glass of bubbles there and the food is nice (nothing to write home amount but not bad). Deserts looked yum! The one room hotel there is an amazing concept! Restaurant takes card but tickets are cash only (ATM right at the desk). Small ice skating rink and cafe right outside too.

The structure of the tower is unconventional, based on a triangle whose corners go up in steel columns, consisting of three tubes with a double steel wall, filled with concrete. They support nine 'pods' and three decks for transmitting equipment. The tower stands 216 metres (709 feet) high, with the observatory at 93 metres, the hotel room at 70 metres, restaurants (with a capacity of 180 people) at 66 metres. Three elevators transport passengers at a speed of 4 m/s. Three of the pods, positioned directly beneath the decks at the top, are used for equipment and are inaccessible to the public. The remaining six pods are open to visitors, providing a panoramic view of Prague and the surrounding area. The lower three, approximately half-way up the length of the pillars at 63 metres (207 feet), house a restaurant and café bar.

Amazing view at the whole town of Prague. We came there when it was quite gloomy outside but still we had the great view without fog. I strongly recommend to buy tickets online because when we came here, we couldn’t pay by card so we had to buy it online anyway.

We recently visited the Žižkov Television Tower in Prague and were blown away by the experience! Thanks to the Prague Pass provided by our hotel (courtesy of Czech Inn), our entry was completely free. The view from the observation deck was absolutely incredible - a full 360-degree panorama showcasing the entire city. We were easily able to spot all the major landmarks and get a fantastic feel for Prague's layout. An absolute highlight was that the binoculars didn't require any pesky coins to operate! We could enjoy close-up views of all the city's details without any hassle. While the ticket price of 300 CZK might seem like a consideration, having free access with the Prague Pass made this an absolute no-brainer. The views were truly stunning, and the convenience of the coin-free binoculars was a nice touch. We would highly recommend the Žižkov Television Tower to any visitor to Prague, especially if you have the Prague Pass. The panoramic views are a must-see!

Nice folks, funky desserts, quick service! I had a pavlova cake. It was weird because it was harder than I remember them being. Espresso macchiato was on-point though. Neat place to visit and it gives you some incredibly good views of Prague--even if the the view of the tower itself is horrendously ;) Worth a visit at least once.

The tower has a nice view and three rooms where you can enjoy it. The elevator is fast but you may need to wait if there are many visitors. Windows may spoil your photos of the view. The place is free if you have a valid Prague CoolPass card.

Bistro 66 is a must see restaurant when visiting Prague. If fine dining and spectacular views are you cup of tea then this is the place for you. Bistro 66 is an experience in itself. The staff speak very clear English are polite warm and attentive to all your needs. The good is delicious and Al La Cart and will leave you wanting more. This experience in England or anywhere else in the world would be so expensive but here is affordable for all and you will be treated like Kings and Queens all evening.

We loved the place because of the amazing view!! Bistro 66 and the restaurant have the best view of Prague, however the Bar does not have, as you can see from the video. Food is really good and prices are good as well considering where you are dinning. The staff is friendly and they speak English as well. The only downside is that if you have a baby with stroller or you are handicapped there is a detour from the parking in order to get to the lobby of the tower Hehe

Good way to see the city , easy to get to on the tram , we visited on the last day of our long weekend in Prague and stopped at the supermarket close by to stock up on local treats to take home , we only spent about a hour at the tower but found visiting this part of the city interesting

Architecturally at total odds to everything else in Prague. And it is almost everywhere you look across the skyline. Food was exceptional. And the viewing gallery an absolute must-see.

We came here on a very snowy and overcast day, because we had finished all the main sights in Prague's old town and it had been overcast for several days in a row. It was pretty pricey to go up the 3rd (observation) floor (€15) but they let you up to the 2nd floor restaurant for free and you can get a coffee or tea there to see the view as well. But there's a pretty big difference in height so we opted to go further up. It wasn't as nice as if it were a sunny day and you can see more and farther of the city, but wasn't bad either - you can see the pics and decide for yourself:)

Quite an expensive attraction for what it is. The lift smells and the place could do with a bit of tarting up. But the views are pretty decent. Make it a priority to learn how to tell a joke in Czech - if you can get a smile out of the sour-faced woman on the reception desk, then you deserve a prize. You can save some money and just go for a drink at the bar, but the view is restricted to just one direction - away from the town centre. However, the guys working in the bar are really pleasant.

Wonderful place to see whole city. There are views from all the angles. The thing that sucks is the lights inside the rooms. It affects seeing the city as its meant to be and affects pictures a lot. See the attached images, the imo lights should be only in the middle area so it doesn’t affects the pictures and view

The hike up was challenging, nevertheless very rewarding, especially the view over Prague. Higher up, one can climb the stairs of the Petrin Tower for 360 degree panoramic views overlooking the city. There are a few cafes in the area and lots of space to relax and unwind. Also several hiking trails. If you prefer the lighter route, just ride the cable car which is covered by the 24hour Transport Passes.

The biggest hill in the area of the city center and one of the best places to go for the views in Prague. Park itself has almost infinite number of pathways, so it's great for walks or some uphill running.

An absolutely awesome spot to see a panoramic view of Prague! Definitely take the cable car up the hill and save your legs for the climb up the tower to see those amazing views. We also checked out the mirror maze which was pretty cool and had some fried cheese burgers. A great way to spend a half day.

We went in for a sunset and had some remarkable views of Prague. We spent about 300 here for tickets, and it was an overall nice experience. It gets crowded though.

Lovely place for this weather. There is a good walking area with beautiful Prague view. Take some fresh air and enjoy the moment. You can use funicular to get back to city.

What a lovely park. The walk was beautiful and there was always something to look at. The old walls that still surround it are super cool. If you are interested in nature and history then go. The tower was a good walk to then up it but the view was incomparable to any other view in Prague

Petrin Park in Prague is a really nice place to visit. It's a big, green park that's perfect for a walk or just chilling out. There's this cool lookout tower that looks like a mini Eiffel Tower. Climbing it gives you some amazing views of the city. There's also a neat mirror maze and a beautiful rose garden. It's a bit of a climb to get up there, but totally worth it. The park is peaceful, and it's a great spot to escape the busy city streets. If you're in Prague and want to see some lovely sights, Petrin Park is a must-visit.

The view is amazing, we walked the hill up to the platform, the prices are fine. If you only have a couple days in Prague, I’ll probably visit something else, but if you stay a little longer and you’re looking for a nice walk, it’s definitely a good idea to walk up there and enjoy the view.

We won’t up the hill with the funicular. A very nice ride which the kids loved. Up the hill was nothing special. We went on the tower to look at the view and went right down.

12/05/23: primarily a good experience and a lovely trip to the top of the Petrin, to reach the gardens and Tower. However, the funicular isn't that big and it will get packed full and the staff will squeeze you in. My advice is to get there early, try and be ahead of the queue and stand (once in the funicular) at the very front or the very back. Options are a single ticket, return ticket. Having done it once, next time I would projet a single up and walk back through the gardens.

Beautiful park specially on the cherry blossom season. The tower is not that special but the area and funicular ride is good as a first timer. Vibrant area. Do prepare to walk a lot in steep terrain. Nearest tram stop - Ujezd. Easily accessible on tram route. Opposite side of tram route there is a Angelato ( best gelato shop) - do not miss.

Its a smaller version of Eiffel tower to get a nice view of Praha. There is a ticket to get to the top. There is an elevator to reach the top but usually busy with seniors so we had to take stairs. The view is nice from top but its not open. There are glass windows at the top.

Great place for graffiti lovers. There were a lot of poems when I visited.

What a peaceful and quiet respite from St Charles bridge. Everyone seemed quiet and reflective and took turns to take pics in front of the wall. Imagine. Had the best time stopping in the Wall Pub after our time at the Lennon wall. Staff were so friendly and we met other travelers and enjoyed a pint. Don’t skip it

It has its own charm if you know the history and are a fan of John Lennon. John Lenon was an advocate of peace and he had proved it long time ago. People worship hun for the things he had given to Central Europe. This much decorated wall is celebrated all across Prague and people travel from across the world to witness the history and heritage of his work. This is a must watch wall. Right next to this is the Segway tours which take you through the entire city through a three legged bike which is must tour if you’re visiting Prague for the first time. There’s a small cafe and a Lennon wall shoppe right next to it, from where you can buy magnets and a lot of other things to make your house beautiful with the souvenirs from Prague.

If you are a fan of John Lennon, then this is a must visit place when in Prague. The wall is lined with fan tributes, letters, writings, photos, wall art, and photos. There is a lot interesting content. One could literally spend hours looking through them all. There is even a section with writings to support Ukraine. Most of the content is in English, while some in other languages. Use Google Translate and you will be able to understand the other contents.

Visited it on 20th June and would say the Lennon wall looks different than its original as many have covered the face since then. But its a colorful wall attraction with a great message. The shop inside sells really cool works too so do check that out.

Easy to reach as it is near the Charles bridge. It is a good walk to take pictures and also to see the artworks and read. The Lennon Wall or John Lennon Wall is a wall in Prague, Czech Republic. Since the 1980s, this once-typical wall has been filled with John Lennon–inspired graffiti, lyrics from Beatles' songs, and designs relating to local and global causes.

Definitely worth a visit when in Prague. There was a Ukraine poetry exhibition going on when I went, which I thought went well with the history of the wall. The art on the wall is consistently changing and developing, which some people may find amateur because of the smaller art, but I think it is a fun example of humans joining together in an artistic community. The shop behind the wall was also a lovely surprise, and the garden offers a nice photo opportunity as well

Worth visiting if you are nearby but I wouldn't make a special visit. The murals and graffiti you now see has all been added in the last few years. The history of the wall is however interesting which you can of course just read in the guide book.

You can find nice handmade art pieces, fashion jewellery in the shop.

Amazing tour well worth the money, very knowledgeable tour guide and very proud of their beautiful city, plus so much fun riding round Prague. I would highly recommend doing a tour with them you won't regret it.

It’s located in a nice area, easily get there walking Near some restaurants and next to a coffee shop shop. I went during the week and it wasn’t crowded. It’s in the street so it’s not necessary to pay entrance.

A different part of Prague and definitely worth seeing. You can scan your phone using the QR code and find out about the structure even though we visited this on a walking tour. There was not many people here.

I knew nothing about what happened to Prague during WW2 except that the allies handed them over to Germany as an appeasement so I guess they knew they were on their own in terms of any resistance. It was educational and very detailed. I spent an hour there happily learning.

Sure, the memorial could be a bit more modern and informative in other ways than just long texts on the walls, but it's still an extraordinary place. The admission is free, you can get to know the story well if you're willing to read through it, and visiting the crypt where the parachutists had been hiding and fighting is a special experience.

Great memorial and a great way they have set up and shown this story. I highly recommend it. Open from 8 to 5pm

Was here with my 2y old. Entrance is free. Worth short educational visit on the subject of operation Anthropoid and some parts of the WW2 history.

A very moving tribute to the 7 men who lost their lives trying to help change the German infiltration. The church was the haven for the men and you can see where they tried to hide them and learn about the disturbing consequences of protecting them. It's a free museum and worth a visit to here something about the history of the area.

This small museum is well worth a visit. It’s a very informative and moving experience. So pleased we went. I left with tears in my eyes. It’s free entry although donations are welcome.

Amazing memorial. Filled with history that I have never learned in the USA, was very cool that it is in the site that these soldiers spent their final moments, to top that off it was free, with free information booklets with deeper information. It is always one of my favorite things to learn local history while traveling since that is what you never learn in school.

We went here on our own, being already familiar with the story of the brave elimination of Heydrich. Seeing the location of the sad ending was powerful. So much history in Prague. BTW do not miss the newly renovated and exquisite Prague Military History Museum! Just reopened in 2022. Both of the places are FREE!!!

A very interesting exhibit outlining the history of the Czech Republic both prior and during World War 2. The site is the final stand for Operation Antropoide, with a monument to the men involved. Amazing to explore cript and read about the operation.

An absolutely fantastic experience. More moving than any of the other big museums we visited. There is a unique story behind this location and it is well told through the displays and they also offer free literature and postcards. You could spend between 20 minutes and 1 hour here. Everything is contained to 2 small rooms so unlike other tourist attractions there is not a lot of walking required to enjoy the exhibit. Thank you to the staff who were very friendly and welcoming during our visit.

Albeit a small museum, this is worthy comprehending the level of resistance amongst the Checz elite against the oppressor. The display of the effort of members of operation "Anthropoid" highlights the necessity of the actions against the destructive force that was eradicating the Europe of its civility and culture.

It was a visceral, telling museum and memorial. It should be visited by everyone coming to Prague. Far too few tourists understand what Czechia went through during the war and what it lost.

I highly recommend this memorial to anyone who is interested in history. The crypt is a particularly sobering experience, especially for those already familiar with Operation Anthropoid. Be prepared to remove your hat if you are wearing one and speak in a whisper. Nearly all of the signs include English as well as Czech, and there are free pamphlets in both languages. I have also included a few pictures from Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cathedral, directly above the crypt. I would highly recommend seeing the Cathedral as part of your visit to this memorial.

In a Michelin starred restaurant you expect a bit more than an amazing food. And Field has it, the dinner is simply way to heaven. Excellent balance of tastes in every single meal, great choice of wines. In one sentence: the great experience. Staff was professional, but still warm and friendly. Special thanks to our wine lady. She was really exceptional.

I was quite disappointed with the food here, unfortunately. The presentation was amazing and there were some good dishes, but I felt the food was unbalanced. Every dish just hit you in the face with flavor, but much of it was far too rich or too salty. I left some courses unfinished. I had gone to La Degustation a couple of nights before and that was far superior. I found myself trying to convince myself I was enjoying the food for how much we were spending.

We had a menu with 4 dishes and a starter. We ordered our food to be paired with non-alcoholic drinks. All served plates were like pieces of art and were indulging our taste buds. Flavours' combinations were amazing but also sometimes surprising, especially the drinks. The atmosphere in the place is cozy. The staff was nice and spoke flawless English. This is a place where you will get an unforgettable culinary experience.

I moved into Prague 4 months ago and back then asked my girlfriend if she would suggest and try something with me. Now this was the third time in here, and probably my favorite degustation in Prague. Brought friends/colleagues twice and always positive feedback. First of all the atmosphere, decorations, theme and the servings, all work absolutely great together. Service is polite, but also very well aware of their menu, suggestions, advise. The actual menu and food itself offers unique dishes with interesting and well thought flavours combined with fitting wine pairing. Ingredients must be quite good quality to bring out the flavours in a distinguishable way. Thank you for the BOH and FOH staff, it's the people who make the experience.

This is definitely the BEST FOOD EXPERIENCE in Prague. Mind you, not the most typical Czech restaurant, but they include typical local foods into their creative menu, which is just incredible! Style is straight, simple, no frills, just focused on the best food, divine wine pairing, amazing presentations. The staff is ultra professional & knowledgeable, so is the sommelier. Michelin agrees 😉. Do NOT MISS THIS while in Prague.

We loved it! Great flavours!! Each dish was well presented, our waiter was outstanding and the décor was really nice. Now, the food. Wow! Each dish was packed with flavours, some quite suttles and other very bold! Each plate does challenge your palate and your taste buds. You are left with loving some dishes while others do become a point of discussion at the table. Well done chef! Loved it!

The whole experience was amazing. The welcoming, knowledgable and friendly staff. The atmosphere - and the food. Oh, the food! It was a lifetime experience that my partner and I will never forget. I was worried that I might be hungry at the end of the evening, as I'm a big eater. But the amount of food was just perfect. Three amuse bouches, two types of homebaked rolls. Two homemade butters, before the next nine courses including five different petit four and amazing coffee! We chose the B wine pairing which was great and the somellier explained everything - and the wines were well chosen and delicious. It was truly a visual and gastronomic delight! The combination of flavours and textures was adventurous and exciting on the palate - truly exquisite. The pacing of the meal was perfect at three and a half hours. The only comment would be is to ask the waiters to slow down a little when explaining a dish in English. Very highly recommended!

Our family enjoyed the time we spent at the restaurant. The short degustation menu we've tried was above and beyond. Highly recommended the non-alcoholic pairing - it surprised me the most. We have a child with autism with us, and I truly appreciate that the restaurant team gave us the quite and calm space, away from the other guests. They also were very supportive, giving some out of menu options for our little one. Thank you very much fit the unique experience and lovely lunch we had.

Awesome 10-course tasting menu (which was more like 14-course) in 3.5 hours. Great non-alcoholic drink pairing with the food. Really nice staff.

Perfect service. Three-course lunch menu had an earthy taste. You leave Field with a pleasantly full stomach. If I can I would choose a different dessert for me. Kaskhaval with blueberries and Jerusalem artichoke was not the right thing. But really nice entertainment.

Visited on a weekday 3-course lunch. Very attentive, professional service. Staff was very accommodating of my dietary restrictions. Food presentation was beautiful. Food-wise, the meal was good but I'd hoped to be more "wowed" given the high prices. The starter and main course were solid, but the dessert was underwhelming. If I were to return, would do 2-course lunch and save some money in the process.

We arrived at Prague and found Field just 140m away from our accommodation and was ranked 2nd best restaurant in Czech. Felt very lucky to get a table without booking! Service was exceptional, wines are lovely! Some dishes though was a bit controversial. We chose the 10 courses set menu, all went well until the yogurt dish was served… it really killed our appetite with its overly heavy sweetness & sournesses. - The fish borne source overpowered the sturgeon favour. - The attempt to serve Foie Gras with a bit of sweet and sour food was good, but failed with the execution (especially after our best Foie Gras experience in Paris just the night before) - Lamb tartare was good, but by now we were so over the sourness and couldn’t face up to try the side dish came with it. Tongues were all numbed! We were all ready to leave the restaurant at this stage 🥹. Thank god the rest of dishes (veal and deserts) were wonderful and saved the night a bit. I think most of dishes were good by themselves (apart from the yogurt dish), but the head chef probably did not eat all dishes combined end to end himself to realise this combo doesn’t work perfectly together. Appreciate the creativity & efforts, but wasn’t a perfect food journey as it should be…

It is a beautiful restaurant with fantastic dishes. There are many different cooking techniques, and all are beautiful to look at. And, of course, eating is not unimportantly delicious too. Excellent service & beautiful wines. A wonderful evening.

I have no idea what the negative reviews here are on about. We had the 10 course with wine pairing. The food and service was impeccable. One of the best fine dining experiences I have had in a long time. I have worked in fine dining kitchens for just over a decade. There is something to be said about the precision, technique and capacity for excellence in this restaurant. Field does not disappoint, they deserve their star and I can sense they are hungry for a second. Would absolutely recommend. To anyone taking the bad reviews seriously, just look at the reviewers other reviews. It's evident they have no class or taste.

I love this place, I was so excited to try this restaurant for the second time since my arrival in Prague. Service was excellent, creative dishes. chef explained everything that was brought to the table. The waiter was very nice and recommended a good wine selection with my tasting menus. Five yers later and I’m still impressed with the creativity. The only downside which was not a big deal, the dining room was a little too loud. Michelin star well deserved. I was so upset about not bringing my backup charger for my phone as I was taking pictures of the sights of Prague the whole day. I was told by the server that the pictures are available on their website which I can download for reference. How ever I was able to find images from my last visit which can display the level of creativity on dishes. Clean dining room, well maintained bathrooms.

Dined here in Aug 2022. The place was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. The tasting menu is very good and you feel quite full (but not stuffy) by the end. The pork and the fish items were especially good. I went for the wine pairing and while it was quite good, it just felt a bit expensive and it probably would have been better for me to just go for a bottle of my preferred wine. Service is excellent. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Prague to dine here.

What a marvellous and stunning experience, from start to finish. We had our celebratory anniversary dinner here and it was also our first Michelin experience, and wow! The staff and the service were impeccable, amazing ambiance and how fantastic the food and wine were goes without saying. Couldn’t be any happier and there isn’t one dish to fault.

Amazing dinner for a special occasion. The juice pairing was really clever, it’s the first time I’ve had a non-alcoholic option to go with a prefix meal, and I really appreciate that as I’m intolerant to alcohol. They were able to accommodate my friends gluten free diet as well with alternatives for each dish. Came with a bunch of friends and we had a great time enjoying the food and talking about the creativity in each dish. We even came 30 mins before our reservations but was able to get seated and sheltered from the rain - service was super hospitable! Highly recommend.

A culinary tour de force and a must-do in Prague. The five-course tasting menu was an exciting exploration of this restaurant's reinvention and elevation of Czech cuisine, displaying unexpected yet delectable flavour combinations expressed through the finest and freshest of ingredients. The "beef tenderloin, lard, gingerbread" course was a particular highlight. The wine pairing was similarly varied and surprising, with unusual yet well-matched choices. And even as someone who eschews filter coffee, the house roast here was possibly the best I've ever had. Service was attentive and personal, the open kitchen pass was run smoothly and efficiently, and the whole place was absolutely spotless.

Worthy of the star. Food is on par with some of the best started experiences we have had. I agree with several reviewers that they shine with food, service and atmosphere... And the wind pairing just isn't as great. Their menu is truly art - the selections made for each course and combinations within each course like the cucumber foam on the first course with tomato. It felt little summer and tasted like heaven. You can tell the difference between true artistry and restaurants that just put truffle oil into everything to make it seem fancy. Every course flowed appropriately into the next with flavors that honestly had me avoiding my wine because I wanted to continue to savor what i had just eaten. The juice pairing is incredible and highly recommend it. Do not come hungry, the portions are perfect for a lighter dinner. You will leave ready to have more fun in the evening.. Not stuffed and ready to sleep.... Which is a good thing! Overall the best restaurant we have been to in Prague so far. Also an underappreciated extra something - watch for the interior decor and design. It's thoughtful - patterns are repeated between flooring, menu and window frosting, etc. I love a restaurant with an artistic aesthetic!

Will return. When I googled Michelin star restaurants in Prague, this one and Field showed up. They close for lunch earlier than Field, which why we went to Field first; … I left review for my bad experience at Field two days ago. I enjoyed their simply and elegant decor, the friendly staff, the food and the ease to make a reservation. They do 30 lunches and 50 dinners daily, walk ins are fine as long as a space is available. Today there are two walk ins. Visitors accounts 70% of their customers and today English was the language. Two tables round us are Americans. We’re 35 minutes early but they seat us anyway. Our table is by the kitchen, and I get to watch them in action. One staff brings a low stool for backpacks 🎒 or large handbag, placing it under the table. More serving staff than necessary. I didn’t see the excessiveness in New York. Bathroom uses hand towels; lotion is provided. But the door could use the switch to show if it’s being occupied? As with many similar restaurants, each table needs to have either tasting menu or regular. We opt regular. And the food is plentiful. One thing I picked up is, the chef (I assumed) uses a little alcohol spray to clean the plates / bowls before he puts anything into it, making sure no dishwasher residue. Years ago, at 11 Madison, a New York CFO commented that running a restaurant smoothly “isn’t easy”. I think I’ve a better understanding today 😉, and a bit of Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times - assembly line. The open kitchen we see, cooks little - either they done all cooking prior or they’ve a secondary kitchen that does real cooking. The food … all are delicious… In the end, they offered us sweet surprise, which is better than the dessert that came with the regular menu. The only complain is, they should use a light color interior bowl to serve, showing off their dessert creation.

The best Michelin restaurant I've been to. The food was amazing, the non-alcoholic pairing was spot on and complimented the courses very well. The staff were really nice and the manager even played a little guessing game with us which was really fun. You know the chefs really care when they come to serve you the food themselves. I will definitely come back again in the future.

The ambient is decent for the price you are paying, overall noisy. Food is good, but not worth the price, the 1st dish perfect , then it’s a decreasing climax until the dessert. No bread and no espresso are basics you might expect when going to Michelin star restaurant. Average service and on top I found a fishbone in the fish and I didn’t get anything back that I might expect.

Good atmosphere and interesting to watch chefs preparing the meals for you, very clean place and quiet Got the tasting menu and the first plate ( the 3rd picture ) had no flavour in my opinion and the second plate i think it had pear? Was quite unpleasant and hard to finish.. but the rest of all following plates ( deer, chicken, fish) and even the dessert ( me and my friend dont like desserts) were amazing Great collection of wines and staff very kind and knowledgeable,

The service was wonderful and we found that the restaurant itself was beautiful. However, we have been to many Michelin star restaurants all over Europe and this one lacked a few things (especially for the price). - the lack of choice in the menu - the sommelier did not allow us to try the wine first for each pairing - the price of the wine pairing was quite high for the very small pours and also the types of wines given at times (for example, a cider) - the portions were quite small and in the meat dishes, the side dishes and salt completely overpowered the tastes (for example, with the beef all you could taste was egg and truffle throughout) They are doing a nice job but if you are one to go to many Michelin restaurants then this was a bit of a disappointment for us given our past experiences.

A lovely reservation-only restaurant that makes Czech cuisine—kinda. The menu we had was five courses (each relatively small but delicious) with a wine/cider paired with each course. Staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable, food was amazing. Just be careful with ordering drinks outside the menu, you might be surprised at the price.

A five star culinary experience, without a doubt! Each dish was meticulously prepared, served and described. The wine pairings were spot-on. The open kitchen was a pleasure to watch. Classy but modern decor and excellent service. Certainly a must for any foodie visiting Prague!

The restaurant space is understated and elegant. The kitchen is also open so it was great to see the chefs at work. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic experience, well worth the money! I visited for lunch and had a great time. The staff is super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always there when you need them and checking in on your needs. Food is absolutely superb, delicious combinations of unexpected flavours, locally sourced ingredients, great presentation. I got seated next to the chef station and was able to observe them preparing the dishes, which really enhanced the experience as well. The interior design is gorgeous as well, and they had drink pairings for non-alcoholic drinks, which is rare and very appreciated! The carrot and horseradish drink was surprising and matched the poultry with strawberry very well. Overall a stellar experience, cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

As one of my first times at a Michelin star receiving restaurant, my hopes were high. I was scared that they’d be too high and I’d be disappointed but that wasn’t possible. From the moment we walked in to the first and last course, the service was impeccable and the flavors were unmatchable. It was one of the best culinary experiences of my life and I would suggest anyone who is in Prague to check this place out for a good food experience.

Another awesome experience in this Michelin star restaurant. Food very creative and tasted great. We loved both the wine pairing and non alcoholic pairing. All non alcoholic pairing were produce by the restaurant. The restaurant was very clean. Service was very good and helpful. They also explained the winds, non alcohol and food. Really value for your money

One of the best meals I have dined in Prague. Everything you see on the menu first you think it will be simple, but the creative flavors on each dish make them very different and unique. The flavors are memorable yet new. Each plate had a connection from first to last leaving you thinking about the dinner after you have left. The staff is orderly and helpful across the team. I enjoyed how the decoration of the restaurant and muted but compliment the Origen of the dishes. One of the biggest thanks I can give this place if allowing me to enter with my medical dog. They are not pet friendly but understood my circumstances and made the exception. I understand it’s not easy for Michelin restaurants for this situations so for that it showed me the care the give their guest with non obvious disabilities. Thanks again for a special night.

Each dish was perfectly cooked with outstanding flavors in every bite. Especially the catfish and deer! A memorable meal. Perfect in every way. The staff were attentive, the non-alcoholic pairing was perfect, even the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Will definitely return if I get the chance.

A very classy old and world-famous cafe to visit. Rather expensive generally but it is very clean, rather quiet and everyone is in a certain place doing his job. Our coffees and deserts came quickly and were fresh and tasty. I did not enjoy my coffee so much because it was as i already said very luxurious with a lot of extras but not much coffee in the end. The inner decoration is rather impressive and you cannot miss the amazing painted celling.

Visited with my mom recently on our day trip to Prague. We stopped for a breakfast at Cafe Savoy on our walk from Andels to Old Town Square. Even though we did not have a reservation, the staff was very polite and helpful to accommodate us. First we got a table outside, but quickly we were offered a table indoor. We shared a Cafe Savoy breakfast which was delicious, including coffee and fresh juice, and made of top ingredients. Lovely ambience and top customer service. Thank you.

The food and service were good. The pastries were great. The only thing is that I ordered my steak well done but it was still red. It’s definitely not a must visit because you can find many other cafes in Prague with better prices.

We really enjoyed our visit to Cafe Savoy. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is also very beautifully decorated, with a vintage, ornate feel. For mains, we ordered the chicken schnitzel with some fries on the side, and a steak with fries on the side too. We also ordered a side of cucumber salad. The schnitzel was tender, moist and tasty. And the steak was tender and cooked perfectly. For dessert, we ordered the Savoy Cake which was a chocolate and cherry sponge with marzipan topping. And we also ordered the apple strudel. Both desserts were very good. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others if you want to try traditional Czech/European food.

I visited this with my husband family and they do serve l authentic Czech breakfasts (it literally tastes like food from my grandma) The atmosphere is great as well. Of course the interior and building helps the atmosphere because it’s really beautiful and well preserved.

Delicious steak tartare with garlic, bread. I ordered fries as a side dish. We also ordered an English breakfast and eggs Benedict. The place is nice and located close to old town. Service was nice and friendly.

Visiting Prague we could not miss Cafe Savoy for our first b-fast and it was so worth it! We had the Best filled croissant with truffle!! Even the eggs Benedict inside a croissant were also amazing! Nicely decorated old classical style! Better is you make a booking reservation if you want to visit on the weekend! Highly recommended!

Stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of our Prague Old Car driver and we’re so glad we did! Beautiful interior, delicious well-prepared and elegantly presented food and excellent service. The lemonade was fresh, not too sweet and fizzy. The gin and tonic was served in a stemmed glass with a huge round ice ball with miniature roses! Gorgeous, unusual, and quite tasty. Very botanical. If you like truffles, get the truffle fries with truffle mayo. Divine! The egg croissant was perfect for our vegetarian and the Niçoise salad was perfect. Did I mention house made pastries? GO!

First breakfast of our trip in recommended Cafe Savoy. Place is lovely and historical, staff is very nice and efficient, the croissant Benedict was excellent. We were lucky to have a table, I would recommend to book before you go there. I will definitely go back there if I come back to Prague!

Food was great, you need to get the hot chocolate if you go. But ask them not to put the cherries if your are not into them by themselves. Service was honestly not so good. Our waiter left after we got all our food and we waiting around for 40 mins to pay. Ended up asking for another waiter to charge us. She also made it seem like a chore when we were asking question about the menu when we first arrived. Should have known the service was going to be bad at that point.

A classy, beautiful place that serves quality food and offers professional service. We came here by chance but left absolutely satisfied. We chose from the egg specialities; I had Egg royale and my wife had English muffin. (The images will more or less clarify what these mean.) These are super rich and tasty dishes that I can recommend for breakfast of brunch. The desserts are equally delicious. The service was fast and friendly too.

Very beautiful place with amazing interior. Very friendly staff and the food tasted really good. We only had the liver dumpling soup and then dessert. The soup was nice and both the savoy cake and pastry were amazing. A bit pricey but for us definitely worth the experience.

Average food, the French toast wasn’t good at all we ordered 3 but did not eat it and no one asked why ? .. I hope they serve a regular french toast not a croissant with a lot of syrup . The coffee was good.

We had a reservation and were seated immediately for breakfast. Overall the food was good, not anything breathtaking but solid breakfast fare. The Savoy special hot chocolate may be the most decadent hot chocolate I have ever tasted, tho, so definitely try that - maybe just one per table, it's too much chocolate for one person.

Beautiful café, but also a pastry shop and wine bar, very well maintained. We went for brunch so we could appreciate the cuisine and the pastry. The dishes are well cared for and the ingredients are fresh. The pastry shop includes all the Czech classics and something else. The service is very accurate and efficient.

Really lovely place for lunch. We hadn’t made a reservation but we’re only waiting about 10/15 minutes for a table. The staff were very attentive. The food was delicious, especially the cafe savoy hot chocolate.

Very beautiful inside and out. Decoration was pretty, the service was great. Truffle fries were amazing, our apfel strudel and Czech pastries too! We were expecting something else for the truffle croissant and in my opinion the cafe savoy cocktail was not balanced but overall it we enjoyed the experience and time in the cafe

You can enjoy your meal in a very elegant space. For my meal, I ordered a croissant French toast, a salmon open sandwich, and a hot chocolate. It was very delicious. The restaurant was very crowded in the morning, so I recommend going early or making a reservation.

The place is very beautiful and elegant and the servers were very friendly and nice, but the food was just not good. I personally did not like the Savoy hot chocolate, I just felt that the sour cherry did not complement it and in fact overpowered the flavor of the chocolate. The dessert was not good at all, could not get 2 bites down. Beautiful definitely, but the food was a huge let down.

They have nice atmosphere to eat&drink. Staff are kind. We have tried a dessert with walnut, it was perfect so l recommend to taste it. İt is very fresh and not to effect your stomach. İt is very light. Also we have tried a schnitzel with chicken that was very delicious. They have take away for dessert, you dont need to go inside from outside you can get. Only negative is they have queue in outside and they dont get reservation when l have called them. They told you need to come and wait in queue so it should be improved. There is some table which is empty table waiting people who reserved. More than 30 mins they are empty but people waiting outside :( so please improve this one.

Very authentic place and food. Must visit when you are in Prague! Services were warmth. Food is also delicious. Recommend when you are in Prague. Historical place, too.

If you want to dine in 1800s, pay for overpriced food and feel like a lord or a lady while doing so this is the best place for you. No one should wait 20 freaking minutes for English breakfast… I found nothing special about breakfast items. Some hot items on my platter were even cold. I guess my platter had decided to stop by Vienna on its way to the table… Service is not professional. Although we made reservation we were seated literally next to the entrance in the middle of the hallway.

The most creative and delicious food we had in Prague along with amazing views! Make reservations a few days ahead of time during tourist season. They accommodated my gluten free dietary needs and even had delicious gluten free bread! It was an extremely romantic location. Make sure to reserve a spot of the Terrance overlooking the Vltava River!

Highly recommend this restaurant! Everything about this restaurant set the mood of excellence and comfort. The food and attention we had was outstanding. The team let me arrive with my service dog which means a lot to me and my situation. Come here for creative, delicious food and the best attention for service. The ambience is super cozy! We came here as a group of 30 people so we couldn’t choose from the regular ala carte menu what makes sense, but I was a bit confused as waiter couldn’t tell me what is inside of spinach croquettes and also no one asked my colleagues that ordered steak how they wanted to make it and it was done medium well. This restaurant is well known as a fancy one so my expectations were quite high, however the food was missing something, some flavors so I was a bit disappointed. On the other hand, if you are lucky and you seat outside on terrace you can have beautiful view on Charles bridge. Overall, it’s good place for romantic date, the food is nothing special.

Very good restaurant with an amazing food. Everything are delicious . The staff are very kind too and very friendly with us . We had a very good experience. If you come to Prague , you have to plan to come here because it was just amazing lunch .

Top notch restaurant in Prague. We tried the degustation menu with the belonging wine package. Total around 5500 Kč. Beautiful location with great view of Charles Bridge. We spent almost three hours. Service was great. Recommended!

Kampa Park, is situated in a lovely position on the River, overlooking the Charles Bridge. The meal was good, however there is room for improvement. The scallops, which I had as a starter were excellent, cooked to perfection and I can really recommend. The buratta salad was good bit missing something, maybe some blueberries and walnuts could improve the flavour. The halibut main course was good but as you can see in the photo was swimming with vegetable foam, way too much. The desert was good but needed more mousse, there was too much raspberry syrup. The service was good and friendly, prices are expensive considering, overall good...

The main attraction of the restaurant are the views. Next to Charles Bridge and to the Moldava river, the setting is really unique and charming. Food is really good, wine list not that extensive. Service is kind and attentive. However, prices are actually quite elevated, so it's not an everyday meal. Nevertheless, one of the best restaurants I've been here in Prague.

Ate here once in 2012 and the food was absolutely fantastic! They have outdoor dining which where we ate and had a phenomenal view of the iconic Charles bridge! The food and atmosphere make this a perfect 5 hands down!

Absolutely wonderful place to enjoy an upscale dinner in Prague. Excellent service with personal recommendations for wine and food made our meal an unforgettable anniversary celebration. If you want to treat yourself with something special, go for a lunch on the terrace with view on the Charles Bridge. The food was rather small and exquisite, but very tasty and that was what we have expected. The service was great and very friendly. Sitting there with such a view in peace and with good food and drinks gave us a lot, thank you!

The food was the best this is probably my favorite high end restaurant the views are the best there is no other place with the view. The Japanese Wagyu melted in your mouth. The pasta truffle was so good and the dessert was the best with mango dragon fruit and cream with a French sweet biscuit.

The view and all foods were great, especially my children loved homemade lemonade(it was the best drink in Prague) and tiger prawns as a starter eventhough the prawns were smaller than we expected. Everything was good but the price is way too high and a staff emphasized 20% for the tip when we pay, and it made us feel uncomfortable.

We had our lunch here and went for the tasting menu while enjoying its picturesque riverside view. Although our waiter was very friendly and helpful, we did experience a long waiting time between each course, even though there weren't many people around us, it felt like a long time before every dish was served. Lucky we were not in a hurry and still enjoyed our time.

Thank you very much to the waiter who took care of us, we had a perfect night thanks to him. We loved his advice and his high energy. I had mushroom risotto and my husband had salmon. The food was delicious and we tried the Czech wine which was also delicious. Finally, we ended the night with a dessert with flower ice cream. The dessert was light and delicious. The view was spectacular, everything was of high quality and effort. Thank you very much.

Sat on the water line, great atmosphere, very romantic. This was our second visit here after 10 years ,the food was simply perfect just like 10 years ago and the service was excellent

Stunning views of the city compete with the stunning menu and excellent service. It's Czech haute cuisine —traditional meats and foul, pork, beef and duck —but prepared in light, elegant sauces. The lobster was amazing, served in a beautiful lobster reduction and the turbot was seared perfectly; light and crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. Perfect for a wedding anniversary or other special occasion.

We had a voucher from the battle between the chef's of Coda and Terasa U Zlaté Studné. Four courses with wine pairing. The food I can describe in one word: Amazing! The service also in one word: Perfect! Add the view, terras (Spring/Summer) and location and this is a gem! Not the cheapest, but they have interesting events the whole year around where they offer a full package. Worth trying! ;)

Very pricy but the food was great. It was close to perfection and can’t complain about anything (apart from price 😉). The view from the terrace is probably one of the best in Prague. Staff very nice and professional 👍

Amazing. We had the pleasure to dine at Terasa U Zlate studne in October and I cannot tell you how amazing it was. The views, food, wine and waiting staff, all outstanding. We were taken aback when we walked in and blow away with the food, the whole dining experience. The waiting staff were awesome and professional. Unique view over Mala Strana roofs, very good service, quiet and romantic atmosphere, summer roof terrace. Very nice dishes with wine pairing.

The restaurant we intended to visit for lunch was closed for a private event. They directed here and we were not disappointed. An elevator followed by 2 flights of stairs brings you to the rooftop terrace. Terrace restaurant has a lovely view of Malá Strana. Service and food were excellent. Expect to pay a bit more here than at other restaurants in the area. Definitely qualifies as fine dining experience. Our host advised us that a reservation would be needed if we intended to come for dinner service. Full bar and wine selection.

Incomparable view, considerate service, delicious and beautiful food. Even in cold weather they keep the terrace warm with heaters and blankets. Food remains warm for dining. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience, everything was perfectly thought out from the positioning of the tables to get the best view of the city to the pacing of the courses as the tasting menu came out. Fine dining with a wonderful view of the city of Prague!!! It is a must!!!!! The service is impeccable and so happy we chose the tasting menu (8 course meal with wine pairing). We feasted on many delicious and beautiful dishes including: - amuse bouche - Yellow Fin Tuna Tartar - Duck Liver Foie Gras Terrine - Scallops and Water Crayfish - Halibut - Angus Royal Steak and Rib - assorted desserts. The food is amazing and the Chef, Lukáš Hlaváček, stopped by to chat with us! Everything was just superb. Our first night in Prague was divine thanks the food, service and that view!!! I strongly recommend this place for a visit, it is calm and lovely here. I took one star, though - for my personal experience of potato-kimchi pancakes - I wish these two were kept apart and never mixed in one pancake - what a lovely thing it could be, should the kimchi be just served separately :) But the lentil soup was delicious. If only there could be more choice of milder dishes - even those without jalapeños still were rather hot.

Perfect vegetarian place. Very cozy. The food was super yummy and the service was very nice. We went there with our three kids (who are not vegetarian) and they all LOVED their dishes! We’ll be back whenever we’re in Praha!

Quirky, wholesome vegetarian restaurant. The decor is beautiful and interesting. Very busy even at 9-10pm on a weeknight. We didn’t have a booking and waited 5-10 mins. Food was great, and the little ginger shots were only 10 kc, and we’re a nice little health kick. Hope to come back soon :)

A gorgeous restaurant with personality. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! The starry ceilings are such a nice touch and they are done beautifully. There are so many rooms in this restaurant! The vegetarian food was great. I'm amazed at how good the fake pork belly was!

Unique deco. Busy at night and much less at lunch. Nice and efficient service. Great fresh products and food. Good portions and great beverages. I recommend even to not vegetarians people. Nice experience.

Amazing place!! 1. Food was fantastic quick so many choices. 2. You have to try their non-alcoholic drinks. We had the Spa Eater and Brazil Trip which were fantastic. I can't believe how good these drinks were. 3. Service was excellent and spoke English and also explained the menu and drinks perfectly so we could make a good decision for our meal. NOTE:Our bill included a 10% tip so keep that in mind. 4. We got here early and they were able to get us in but they did ask if we had reservations do you may want to call ahead to ensure that they can seat you. 5. Overall highly recommend and happy with everything.

The food at Lehká Hlava was absolutely amazing! The cute & quirky vibes were so lovely and the service was terrific. We had the sharing starter, burrito and guacamole burger - all super tasty. Definitely recommend :)

The food at this restaurant is extremely good and the service is also very good. It is one of the few places in Prague where you can eat food that is not too fatty, too greasy or too oily. The waiter who served us was very friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The only suggestions that I would like to make are the following: The nachos that are served with the guacamole should have been included in the price, and not charged separately, over and above the guacamole (unless you intend to eat the guacamole with your fingers 😉). Secondly, slightly increase the portion of roast potatoes that is served with the burger. These are small recommendations that do not cost much to the owners of the restaurant, but give a better overall impression.

Delicious lunch on our honeymoon. Grateful for the clearly marked vegan options and generous portions. I got the vegan no-duck and my husband got the pork belly. Both were delicious! Atmosphere really cool and relaxing.

Very creative and affordable vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Everything is at least vegetarian (anything vegetarian can be ordered as vegan if asked) and a number of the dishes are naturally vegan. Of the dishes ordered, I would get the Clear Head burger again, otherwise I would pick different options for the apps and entrees. The menu has plenty of options so I’ll have to come back and try some of the other dishes. Service and atmosphere are good—note that there is a limited menu in the late afternoon until 5:30 in which some of the entrees are unavailable. Must-go for vegetarians and vegans, but 4-stars for this go-around since the crackling, soup, and meatballs were so-so.

A lovely vegetarian restaurant in the centre of Prague. Although hidden away from the main streets, Clear Head is a great place to visit. Upon entering you are greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff, and once seated you find yourself in an atmosphere that is very warm and cosy which creates a great dining experience! The food is very tasty, I ordered the Spinach Chimney for main, which was followed by the vegan snicker bar for dessert and everything for very tasty. A little more expensive than some other restaurants in the area, however, the food, atmosphere and service are definitely worth the money you are paying and would definitely visit again next time in Prague!

This is a vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan dishes too. We visited her for a 2 course vegan lunch. Firstly, the staff were all brilliant and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing value for money! We had tofu crackling and pate, vegan seitan steak with mash potatoes, and teriyaki noodles with pork belly tofu. They somehow managed to make tofu resemble pork belly with a soft and fatty texture which was incredibly realistic. Very creative and varied menu with some traditional dishes together with some international dishes to suit everyone. The restaurant is small and intimate with a funky style. Can be casual or smart casual depending on the occasion. Would definitely recommend to anyone vegetarian or vegan visiting Prague.

I liked the Ambiente and loved the food. (spinach chimney, I really recommend! It's a symphony of tastes and I was in love! ) the people are very kind and the honey for the tee was a little highlight.

Randomly stopped here today to have a quick lunch and I’m so happy I did! The staff was super nice from the moment I entered the restaurant, the place was packed and I didn’t have a reservation but they found me a spot anyway! The menu is great, so many good dishes to choose from, it took me a while to make up my mind. I asked if it was possible to have my order without an ingredient listed in the menu and, after asking to the kitchen staff, my request was granted with a warm smile. I loved every bite of my salad, fresh and tasty ingredients mixed to perfection. I was too full for dessert but they looked very appetizing! Also, the interiors are worth mentioning, stunning design and ambience. The restaurant is also in a very central location, yet not in a noisy area, as it is located in a lateral narrow street that may go unnoticed if you’re strolling by. I had a very good experience and I definitely recommend this place 🌱

A must go! This place is one of the gems of Prague and vegetarian food. We booked in advance. The service was fast and always courteous! The atmosphere in this restaurant(the main dining room is where we ate) was so beautiful, naturistic and just magical really. It is an intimate space with so many cute things! Just a pity there were two American tables shouting...err I mean talking...near us. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Prague!

Every vegetarian or vegan will feel like in paradise. An ideal place for lunch or dinner. The idea for the selection of starters or main dishes is perfect (Small/Big Clear Head) to try as much as possible.

Really wanted to like this place. The interior is very nice. The staff are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the food was not that great. The wok vegetables was too sweet. Salad was better but again too much sugar for my taste.

This is one of the best veggie restaurants. The decor is so beautiful and the staff are really friendly. It's tucked away just off the main strip on a dead end road. We ordered the veggie crackling, veg wok and Thai curry. We had clean plates as it was so delicious. The veggie crackling wasn't what we were expecting and was like a creamy bean pate with bread. Loved it. Don't rely on Google for their opening times though! We arrived at 1415 to be told they closed at 1500 when Google said 2300 but the staff were still happy to serve us and we managed to enjoy 2 courses. Will definitely return.

Excellent quality of food. Perfect place for vegetarian and vegan as well. Each dish had its own unique taste and I could feel each ingredient. The seating was beautiful ambient lighting and comfortable wooden chairs. Staff was polite and service was quick. Mid range pricing and definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

Wow! Awesome vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Prague. I would have never found this place if it was not for my cool friend Otto. He used to visit this place 20 years ago when it used to be a tea shop. Now it’s different place but same authentic vibes. Great staff and service. Very friendly people to welcome you. Not only they serve vegetarian food but also have an option of non-alcoholic beers. To be honest I was blown away with their menu options and delicious food. It’s a must visit place for everyone including the carnivores population 😁😎. Don’t think about it, just experience it for yourself.

The experience was amazing...the food was surreal and the service was super friendly. Being a vegetarian myself, its hard to find options in good vegetarian food, and this place is like a dream. One of the best vegan meals we had in Prague, also will definitely be satisfying and good for non vegans. Service was good, efficient and kind. Dishes were inventive, delicious, beautifully presented. The atmosphere is fantastic. We loved it.

My favourite vegan restaurant in Prague. Although it’s close to Old Square, prices are not extremely high compared to other vegan restaurants in central Prague. Just two traditional czech food on the menu BUT absolutely delicious. I’ve taken my non vegan, Czech friend with me and she was amazed with taste and quality

We got a table on the ground floor which does not have a great ambience like that of the basement level. The vegan goulash were just soya nuggets in goulash sauce and Thai curry was flavourful. However the portions weren't filling. In dessert section we tried strawberry crumble which was decent .

The ambiance is super nice and calm. The food was something completely different, but definitely very tasty. The service was incredibly friendly and cheerful. You were served quickly. clearly a recommendation for those who might want to eat other dishes, such as burgers or vegetable curry in vegan or vegetarian versions, or are looking for exactly these dishes. There is something for everyone. However, it is advisable to reserve a table in advance.

Especially downstairs is a beautiful space when you want to try something different. Portions are generous (i wish there were smaller so i could try more things!) service is nice (everyone also spoke English). Plants, zen, colorful, flavourful veggie dishes.

The food I had was delicious highly recommend the udon noodles they’re very creamy 10/10. The nachos were also massive and very delicious how ever the traditional Prague meal my sister had left something to be desired. I loved the ambiance and the beauty of the restaurant. The service was always with a smile. The food was decent in taste and presentation. The variety was good - given that it was a vegetarian restaurant (with a few vegan options) you would expect a small menu, I expected limited options. However, the restaurant didn’t disappoint me. There is a good range of dishes to choose from. The restaurant looked packed with different elements. There was a small water fountain, greenery, etc. pricing was great. Given that this restaurant is at the heart of the tourist hotspot, this restaurant is very economical by that standards

The place is not strictly vegan, but they “veganize” some options at your request. My goulash with baked potatoes was really tasty!! Nice Hindu decoration and good attention! Normal price, not expensive.

Love the food at this place! The food is so tasty and full of flavour,the atmosphere is cozy and the service is on high level, you should not miss it if you are in Prague. We tried the pie soup, the spinach pancakes and the healty bowl. Loved all of them.

This restaurant has an amazing, soothing vibe. They serve vegetarian and vegan food without compromising on the taste. It's worth trying. The staff is also very polite. Only the potatoes side in our meal were bland, rest everything was full of flavour and distinct taste.

Nice food, a lot of choices. I chose the typical Czech (Hungarian) goulash dish with 'dumplings', which basically are pieces of soft bread. The "meat" was a mixture of soy and seitan and had a great texture. I also had the tofu "foie gras," which had quite a meaty taste, but since I never had the real foie gras, I can't say anything about how real it was. Next time I will definitely try the other dishes, since the local dishes are tastewise just not my personal favorites. Great service and surprisingly affordable for the location.

Amazing restaurant with very good vegetarian menu. We had udon noodles and thai red curry with thai salad. Absolutely loved the Thai salad as was very fresh and tasty. Ambience is very nice especially book the tables in the underground floor. Staff is friendly and service is immaculate.

We discovered this vegetarian restaurant thanks to a mention of it in our tourism book of Prague. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, tasty and quite big. The price was a bit expensive but it was worth it, largely. The staff was very nice and the decoration was beautiful. I really love your mushroom lamp by the way ;)

Went in on a Monday night and we’re able to get seats without a reservation. I was excited to try the vegetarian Czech food the reviews raved about and I wasn’t disappointed. The goulash used (I think soy-based) veggie meats in a savory sauce and a type of squishy dumpling-bread. The svickova was true to the traditional sweetness and featured similar dumpling-bread. I definitely enjoyed the black beer goulash more and would come here to get this again. The ambience was also appealing and appreciated. I’m so glad a vegetarian restaurant exists that serves traditional Czech foods!

Highly recommend. It’s a butcher’s shop with kitchen where I had a very good pastrami sandwich. I will definitely come back to try something else. Service is good but not the best (as everywhere in Prague). Prices are reasonable but do not expect them to be very low. Plus they have only three tables inside.

Simply incredible. The flavors of all the meats are deep and rich and you can tell it is all made with a very high level of care and with the absolute best quality meat. We had the burger, beef tartar, three varies of sausage, and a pastrami sandwich and it was all remarkable. Also very affordable. A highlight of my trip to Prague

Naše Maso is a no-nonsense butcher shop located inside a small mall close to Prague’s Old Town. I’d recommend coming here if you’re looking to try out some of the best local aged beef, sausages, smoked meats, and lunchtime favorites, including burgers and beef tartare. Everything is super tasty so do not be afraid to try out something you’ve never heard of! It has a few standing tables inside and some standing bars just outside of the shop – nothing fancy at all. The trick is to avoid the lunchtime crowd, which can be quite overwhelming.

The best meat shop & butcher in Prague. Everything is completely worth it and the quality is sensational. You can buy ready made meals such as delicious burgers, juicy steaks, amazing sausages or pastrami sandwiches and you can buy or order meat for your home cooking or grilling. Lots of sauces, side meals and crispy bread to go with the meat. My latest fav is the grilled liver and variations of sausages. Besides of the super friendly staff, the owner , Mr.Kšána, is often at the spot preparing and serving the meals with love.

I have no word to describe the quality of the food if this place. It is quite famous and I sometimes doubt his such a places. Anyhow it exceeded totally all my expectations. I recommend the Tartar, it is really on another level but also the sandwiches were just amazing. Prices are above the average but totally worth it, so don’t hesitate because of that. Service was really good, the staff was polite and well organised. It was really handy that you can order from the screen placed outside. Don’t go to Prague without visiting this place.

In this restaurant i ate the best hamburger i’ve ever eaten. We ate the wagyu burger. You can also get your tap beer yourself and also recommend tartar 👌🏽. Delicious!

I loved the experience! The freshness of the meat and its quality was something else! Although it is crowded, but you can order outside with machines, and wait for your order to be ready. There are only few seats available, if you are lucky you can seat inside, but have to be fast. The only drawback could be not having some souce to add if you want. Another tip, don’t go for the juice, if you want a drink, have a beer or nothing😄 Absolutely recommend!

Visited Prague from Singapore and enjoyed every dish we ordered. The medium rare burger and beef tartare was amazing. This place must be a meat lover's heaven.

Visited back in 2018 and came back for it in 2023! Beef tartare is amazing! Came with garlic and sourdough bread. Generous portion of beef. The dry aged cheeseburger was juicy and tasty too, only gripe was that it was on the smaller side. Prices are definitely on the steeper end — will come back again for the beef tartare!

Beer on draft, meat fresher than fresh, and great customer service. We were on our way to the train station leaving Prague so we had a tartare order to eat there with some good beer then a pastrami and sausage (both recommended by the staff) to eat on the journey. Probably our favorite meal of the trip!

Well, I came here on my own after wandering from old town square about 10 minutes on foot. I was specifically looking for some place with good sausages to try and certainly found it. First note is this is a butcher by nature that also serves fresh food cut from their fresh stock. We actually happened here again coincidentally with a food tour as well. That time we had a local favorite called meatloaf by our host which was pork and beef mix put onto a very good sandwich bread and melt in your mouth. The sausages were each different which we ordered that way intentionally of course. Very very good! Staff are professional, maybe a little fast paced a maybe a bit “order or get out of the way” sort of deal. Definitely a local spot and worth the stop… Please note it is a small interior but there is outside standing table room and some inside top of course. It’s not a place you come for dinner and drinks, you come and order something and munch on it with maybe a soda.

This was one of the best meals we had in Prague! We came back a second time because it was so delicious! It's perfect for an on the go meal as there is not really places to sit down. We tried the Meatloaf sandwich, which was more of a sausage flavor profile than American Meatloaf, but still delicious. The Burger was incredible, and the Prague ham sandwich was stuffed with fresh meat. Our friend also got the tartar and were extremely impressed.

Came on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. Fairly busy, but with an ordering system outside you can get in and out quite easily. The burgers were so insanely delicious, and the cheese they chose to put on them is so flavorful and compliments the sandwich as a whole so well. Their other meats in general looked quite stunning as well, something I am sad to kiss out on by being a visitor to the city.

On recommendation we went to Nase Maso. The food was amazing. You sit in the store and can place your order on a display in front of the entrance. Beer is available on tap. The burger was medium rare and incredibly tasty. Also the pastrami sandwich. Two absolute recommendations. Service was nice, food was brought quickly. Prices are perfectly fine. A place that is not quite so crowded with tourists.

I love the concept where it’s a butcher store with a couple of tables inside to grab a quick lunch or even an afternoon snack to go with beer. The food is absolutely amazing and the best place we are in Prague. One star deducted for service (otherwise it would be 5 stars). The service is not great. They seem to be a victim of their own success with a booming business with too many tourists so it seems some of the staff don’t really care to put much effort. We went twice because for our us the priority was the food and it didn’t bother us enough to deter us.

I.n.c.r.e.d.i.b.l.e The best burger I’ve ever had and they make it without any specific salad or sauce. It’s simple and delicious. The portions seem small, but, it’s actually more than enough. The meatloaf sandwich was also very good.

Great fine dining experience. We were curious about their tasting menu. And it did not disappoint. The food were amazingly served and it was very delicious. My friends and I (we were a big group of 6 lovely ladies 🙃) we were very much impressed on how friendly the staffs were. Psychological and physical therapy. That's how the food here feels like. It's a fine dining experience. I highly recommend menu with wine pairing, they absolutely know how to do, so go for it. The stuff here is very professional, they know everything about food and wine. They are super friendly. Best experience is having your food in the roof terrace, however, I bet the inside of the restaurant is great too.

I have to say i was incredibly surprised by the warm hospitality, quality of the food and the creativity of the dishes. It was a memorable evening that will be at the top 5 of restaurants I have visited. The service we received by the entire team was outstanding. We felt super welcomed from the moment we entered the restaurant. Dishes and wine were explained in detail and the atmosphere was luxurious without feeling overwhelming. I will not recommend any specific dishes since you should rely on the service to what they are recommending :). Definitely will be back when visiting Prague again, a truly hidden gem.

Great service. We went for a light lunch, and I had the nicest buttenut risotto I think I have ever had. It was filled with flavour and was exceptionally well presented. The staff were friendly and very attentive

Very grand setting and service. Food was excellent with interesting twists on traditional Czech recipes. Waiters were very attentive and served the food with an air of occasion. Good place for a special meal. The rooftop tables provide a beautiful view of the city, although it was unfortunately too cold to stay there on the day we visited.

Food was incredibly mediocre, they somehow made deer quite bland, and the waiter incessantly pushed additional items on us. He pressured and was too present. It was clear he was trying to make additional money - as they automatically add a tip on to your bill without your consent. Overall would never return and do not recommend. To be fair, the items are the beautiful rooftop, extensive wine list, and central location.

Amazing view food is ok but you'd expect more service is not at level it should be for the price you pay wine pairing is disappointing and didn't match the menu overall expensive for what you get and there are many other options in Prague Not far from a tourist trap; as locals you'd want to avoid it!

The first, please be careful by payment. Now one say you, that by payment is automatically add 10% tips. This is absolutely not standard!!!!! Our lunch we took on roof terrace. The view is fantastic. You can see Prague castle, cathedral and a big part of the historical city. We tasted Czech and international menus. Meals was a delicious. A little longer was waiting time between starter and main dish, 50 minutes. Rest of service was fine. Preises were higher like in another restaurant, but match with level of restaurant.

Having such a great time dining here! Our server was very friendly and interactive making our lunch time very lovely❤️ I tried the Czech Tasting menu and my friends the International Tasting menu. SUPPPERRR GREATTT!!! Rich or taste and very flavorful. The view is amazing. I personally believe the view is worth visiting best during the day. Unfortunately, it doesn't have that much sitting space, so it's best to check in and have a reservation. Definitely must visit place!

This was one extraordinary experience. Simply Perfect food and service. The Manager and Sommelier Boris was really professional and knew his wines. It's really hard to understand why they don't have any Michelin stars. Really recommendable! Hope to see you again, Boris 😀.

Terrace View is perfect so make sure to book a table at the terrace… Our waiter made sure we enjoy our dinner. The menu was lacking a bit, not a lot of alternatives but the my schnitzel was really good. Wine selection was also good, we were given great advice… We had to skip dessert due to lack of alternatives…

A beautiful restaurant listed on the Michelin guide located just outside the Old Town. We came for breakfast and enjoyed fresh juices, pastries and hot breakfast options. Atmosphere is fantastic with plenty of seating and space. Staff are friendly but prices are on the steeper side. There are options for traditional Czech food as well as international options. Worth visiting when in Prague

Absolutely Amazing Experience!👌🏻well-it always is…🙂came for lunch and had a seat booked in advance because this place is always quite busy. After-all, this place is run by a Czech celebrity chef, master of his craft. We ordered ‘Kulajda’ soup (dill, mushroom, potatoes, cream and egg), typical Czech dish with a specific sweet and sour flavour. Also French Onion Soup which was rather sweet, dark and filling-simply amazing. Main dish was lamb knee with spinach and potato mash. The menu offered a salad and three other warm veggie dishes, one of them was also vegan. I opted for truffle homemade gnocchi. The dough was light and puffy-not heavy at all. There was truffle paste inside the gnocchi and it was all topped with champagne sauce. Simply delicious! 👍🏻 Highly recommended for special occasion, lunch, dinner, breakfast or even just a coffee and a sweet dessert. They also sell homemade bread to take away after you taste it yourself at the table! 🥖 The food is simply exquisite, service top-notch and the atmosphere breathtaking. We will keep coming back.

This place was recommended, it is a beautiful cafe and very historical. The tel on the wall and the frescos were beautiful. I had an Irish coffee that was pretty strong, the avocado toast and something that I thought was a parfait was also very filling. I had an English breakfast that was also very filling, the bacon that came with it was different but appetizing. We went during the weekday but I hear it gets packed on the weekends. Service was exceptional, and very attentive.

I happened to pass by this restaurant and seeing the decor, I wanted to come back to celebrate my birthday here. I didn't realize to make a reservation but saying it was my birthday they were very kind and offered us a table for 2. the food was very good, as was the dessert. the decor is exceptional. the bill was high but it was worth it. the tip is included in the bill. I recommend

No reservation but staff were able to accommodate us for breakfast. Staff were friendly and courteous. Food and drinks arrived in good time. The breakfasts were nice, but the sausages are not traditional English style, more.smoked sausage, and were extremely tough to cut, a steak knife would have been better. English tea also does not come with milk, and the hot chocolate is delicious but more of a syrup consistency. Recommend the Imperial Breakfast it's quite filling but everything compliments one another. Traditional tables and decor very beautiful and despite the high ceilings surprisingly warm atmosphere.

This was the most satisfying dinner I have ever had! The salmon was cooked so well but the vegetables under it were even better. They were very juicy and crispy mixed with a really nice sauce completing the circle. The chocolate fondant was a happy ending. The crater, lava and the surroundings were well-prepared and decorated. Apart from the food and the dessert, the atmosphere and the service was great too. The interior design is classic and tasty, furniture blend into the atmosphere. Service personnel was very kind and helpful unlike the rest of our expedience in Prague. If I come to Prague again, I won't eat lunch/dinner anywhere else!

This place is always booked out, so we reserved in advance. The decor is very cool with 1920s vibes and the host seated us promptly as soon as we told them our reservation. The waiter was prompt and came by frequently, we got our drinks and food pretty fast. I ordered a burger and it was amazing, Cafe Imperial marinated the meat to make it taste so good and the presentation is excellent as well. We were so full we didn't order dessert, but I'm sure it is also great as well. Will definitely visit again

We visited this beautiful restaurant for family dinner. We wanted to try tradicional “svíčková” and it has great taste-balanced sweet and savory. They bring you extra sauce by side. It’s their “must eat”! Other meals weren’t so well balanced, but still good. Starters-rabbit and pate- both are yummy. Service was polite and friendly. We booked the table in advance and it’s necessary !!!

Beautiful setting for lunch. Art deco building from the early 1900's with gorgeous mosaic tiling inside. The food and service were fantastic, and the cakes absolutely delicious. Definitely visit if you can.

We popped in here for a nice coffee on our way back to our hotel. What an eye opener!! The decor is stunning with beautiful columns covered in handmade tiles. Gold gilded patterns line the walls & ceilings, giving the cafe a very opulent & elegant feel. As well as the usual offerings of drinks, they have a large selection of luscious looking pastries & ice creams. We settled on apple strudel & coffees, mine being an Irish coffee, which were all so delicious. The Service was impeccable, very friendly, helpful & prompt. If you are looking for a beautifully elegant venue to enjoy the food, drinks & decor, this is the place. First class !! All was excellent.

Easy to book using the Google Maps booking option. Friendly staff. Dishes take a little time to arrive but it is probably because everything is prepared in the kitchen. The food is exquisite, the duck was perfectly cooked and the beef Wellington was the best we ever had. The decoration is very typical. We really recommend this place if you want to go to a fancy but still affordable restaurant here in Prague.

Food is good, service is great, the setting is nice and the atmosphere is a little noisy, but still great. However there was something missing for me in the dishes: the little personal touch that makes it amazing and unique… It’s a little expensive but the place is very pretty. Be careful on the note, as they might charge you a 10% service fee that is not compulsory.

I went to the cafe imperial with a group of industry colleagues that was in the a city for a few days The location is perfect as it's quite central and walking distance to all the major sight and it's close to any public transport as well. The resturant is famous of mix the traditional local cuisine and infuse it with something new. The venue is stunning with its clean sleek marble design and the detailed art deco in the ceiling . The staff were amazing and professional. I was surprised that the food came quickly as it did and it was still warm. Ordered the local dish on the menu, it was good and so filling that I didn't managed to eat the whole thing. They have some interesting name for some of the dishes but hey, you only live once. Recommend the p....food juice ..

Very nice place to go eat. Immdiately good service from when we walked in the doors until we were done eating. Spacious dining room. The food was tasty, didn't take too long from when we ordered until we got it served, and you could buy most dished for a good price. Would recommend!

Beautiful restaurant with average food! This is definitely a place where you go for its history, beautiful interior & great service! The food was just average, had an egg benedict which honestly had too much sauce and my girlfriend had a burger which was just too soggy. Would still recommend checking this place out but maybe just for a coffee. You do need to make a reservation!

A must visit if you are in Prague for a few days. Relatively good location. Many options to choose from (both international and local ones). Excellent service and amazing building with lots of history worth learning about. The sausage from the English breakfast isn’t higher quality and neither is the sauce they add to the beans. I recommend the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and, for an even larger variety of options, to come before 10:30am for a breakfast buffet.

We went for dinner, actually food is good enough and better than the general restaurants in Prague. Maybe I expected too much, the food didn't make me feel "wow! very delicious" , but it is good enough ( rate 4.5). I still enjoy a lot for my dinner for the good ambience and service. I Recommend it .

We went in for dinner and ordered the beef Wellington, the goose liver pate, the French onion soup, and the lentil soup. Their French onion soup was the best I've ever had!! It was super delicious. The rest of what we ordered was mediocre... Their food presentation is well done and they have professional staff.

The historical charm of the place added a special touch to our dining experience.The food at Cafe Imperial was undeniably exquisite. We savored every bite, appreciating the culinary expertise that went into each dish. However, one aspect that slightly marred our experience was the waiting time for the main course. We found ourselves waiting for over 30 minutes from the time of ordering. Despite this, the service was exceptional, and the staff remained attentive and friendly throughout our visit. An unexpected disappointment was the size of the restroom facilities. Given the upscale nature of the restaurant, we were surprised to find that the toilets were quite small. Additionally, during our visit, the restrooms were overcrowded, and temporarily, there was an issue with the water supply. To accompany our meal, we opted for the Beer Imperial, and it pleasantly surprised us with its rich flavor and distinct character. The drink complemented the overall dining experience. In conclusion, the unique atmosphere of Cafe Imperial left a lasting impression on us, and we are eager to return in the near future. While the waiting time for the main course and the restroom facilities were minor drawbacks, the excellent service, delectable food, and charming ambiance make this restaurant a standout choice for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Prague.
